Well, your first port of call is going to be GFX related.

Drivers all up to date? Using betas? Nvidia or ATI?

Checked out the BiS forums? Had a quick search here?

Hello there

Did you try the drivers?

The CPU whilst hot isnt unheard of. Always good to clean out the fans now and again to ease heating issues.

Or check graphics options, screen resolution, interface resolution, interface size, aspect ratio.

Checked all drivers, all up to date.

Don't really want to break my laptop trying to clean the fans either man.
