Chicago 21/22 Problem - Possible database problem, staff response appreciated.

I THINK WildGunsTomcat is the admin here, failing that - this is addressed to any powers that may be.

I have a camp in the same location on both Chicago 21 and 22 - upon logging in tonight I found that my camp from Chicago 21 was also present on 22, and my normal camp from 22 was gone.

This meant that I effectively had a duplicate copy of anything from my 21 camp, yet lost everything from my 22.

I assume something was loaded wrong - but this is problematic as anyone who had a camp on 21 now effectively has a dupe of it.

I attempted to contact the admin in-game, but I don't believe he could see what I was saying in Group chat. I will also contact him via PM linking to this thread.

Last login to both was approximately 20 minutes ago.

Update: Can confirm that my camp on Chicago 21 is still present in Chicago 22.

Yeah I'm trying to understand why it's duping the camp.

Might be a database issue? I have no idea Sup.

I know that last night the database crapped out and Rocket had to bring it back up again, and then I went to bed.

Then I woke up and the vehicles all got reset.

I'm assuming this is related to the vehicle database being reset.

I would need a dev to answer that question. If we can leave this thread open until a dev responds that would be great bone.

Didn't I see that you copied something and there were two servers 21 for a while? In that other thread where the guy apologized?

Yeah that was the server.cfg file though. Let me show you:

hostname = "DayZ - US 27 Chicago 21 (v1.7.0/Beta 93616)[VETERAN] (UTC+10) dayzmod.com - hosted by The Fraternity of Gamers";

So what happened when I copied the server.cfg file was it copied that line exactly.

So all that happened was in the host list it said US 27 Chicago 21 twice in the list.

So I had to bring down 22 and rename that line manually. That's all I did.

The tents missing doesn't make sense unless it's a database issue. Or you didn't save them?

I really don't know. I'm stumped.

They're in the same positions, in the same number - with the same items inside.

Yeah the only thing I can think of is when the vehicles reset something happened to the tents.

Hopefully a dev sees this and gives their thoughts on it.

Since you copied the CFG, you probably forgot to change the mission file. Basically, they're both running the same instance.
