Matty119 15 Posted November 23, 2012 Well , the arma 2 game was originally based in Warfare, so lets put some of that awesome soldier AI too use!How about random military squads (Totally ai,and kill on sight) Roaming about the countryside , either in cars, or on foot.Would definetely spruce things up a bit, theyd have some good loot , ak's etc and maybe they have a car , patrolling about.OR theyre could be random military bases around the map , kinda like crash sites, these bases area fortified and guarded by AI , but inside there is weapons , rare loot, and maybe a vehicle.Would definetely add some variety instead of the usual , trek to barracks , get loot , kill. Instead it can be , wander about , bump into a large military installation, plan an attack with your friends , or group, die-or be rewarded. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Leadon77 94 Posted November 23, 2012 This idea kinda makes sense with some random zed encounters this could get interesting. There's lots of possibilites and also a chance for some great encounters. Regicide 111 Posted November 23, 2012 No, it's been suggested before and is usually shot down, mainly because this is one of the few games out there that isn't a funnel through a story were the player has no freedom to make his own mark. Interactions with other people are what make this game interesting, and AI squads and more scripted events will diminish that. Also, are you familiar with Arma's AI? From my experience, it's not built for DayZ at all. They are usually either oblivious to the world around them, or they are the opposite, and can hit you with a head shot from 700m away without taking time to aim.
