Hello guys, here's my suggestion for the DayZ standalone:

Tree stands!

You can get a tree stand, which is sort of like a deer stand that you put directly onto the tree and you sit in it instead of climbing the ladder to get up to one that you have to put up.

Here's an example:

This could add alot more danger and suspense to the game :)

Hmmm. I've used them in RL, and I could see their effectiveness in DayZ.

That said, their spawns should be rare, and they should take up your slot for your backpack. So if you choose to take it, it's gonna be a big decision. But I like the idea, they would be a great place for a sentry to guard his camp from.

No, If I'm in a zombie apocalypse and I get to my Baby Tree house, the zeds should theoretically not leave me while I'm up a tree, shooting them below and attracting more until I'm out of bullets.

Whats wrong with branches? having the ability to climb would be more beneficial and (dare i say it) realistic.
