I think Rocket and the development team have gone a little overboard with all of the stuff they have been talking about...I mean having to poop really? They have to remember its a game and they cant make it so realistic so someone can't survive alone. Don't get me wrong a lot of the features sound amazing there is just so many ways they can take it to far (ex sickness, and broken limbs). Also there are some parts that I feel must stay in the game like third person because if you think the game should be only first person here is my challenge, run from Kamenka to Electro and say you don't have a headache; also I don't think the advantage you get from it makes that much of a difference. But for the people who just hate it so much leave in non 3rd person servers...bam problem fixed. Anyway I'm excited to how the game turns out in December, what do you think?

There will be pooping and I will be using it as a weapon. DayZ is a hyper-realistic zombie surviva game, the likes of which have never been seen before. So saying it is not needed because it is "too reaslistic" is contradiciting the whole point of hyper-realism. He's going where no game developers have gone and I myself am looking forward to it.

On the issue of third person, I played my first 6-7 months using only third person and it so much more immersing and exciting. I never got a headache. I think people who play in third person are missing out.

From the nature of OPs argument i can conclude he hasnt been playing very long as anyone who has knows that first person is usually the key to living longer against bandits and that you can turn headbob off. As for the whole having to go to the bathroom thing doesnt bother me either way although it would be amusing to see one of those god awful NWAF campers get shot going to the bathroom.

Boiling sea water should really be an option...im all for the anti game concept as long as the product remembers that it is restricted because it is indeed NOT REAL...example communication needs to be a serious topic with all these people using third party VoIP...it just kills the immersion completely...the game essentially just becomes a big chat room where you just walk around a big ass map *COUGH* MAID MARIAN *COUGH*...or it becomes a big multi team deathmatch with no real point except to grief other players since you know they have been playing for hours or days and you kill them away from spawn points to get a sick satisfaction of being a dick...

Just saying if this game wants to be as REAL as possible they should really focus on how to improve the communication aspect. To keep people in the game and actually make the game more accessible to social aspects...the KoS was not that big a deal till bandit skin was gone...after that the game/mod just became utter chaos (not in the zombie apocalypse way, more like the /b/ 4chan way.) Nothing but camping trolls who killed just to piss people off...when i started seeing people kill just for the Lulz...that is when the mod becomes shit...which it did. The mod should be a SURVIVAL mod not CoD on a big ass map.

P.S Poops was essentially the first biological weapon. I believe in WW1 there were instances where soldiers would throw their ...shit, into the opposing trenches, honestly it was pretty smart.
