sconner87 0 Posted November 20, 2012 Hi guys, this might be a daft question but I can't seem to find an answer. I have a server which I hire from Vilayer.com and basically it doesn't seem to spawn crashed helicopters so basically my question is do I need to change anything within the server settings to get these spawning? I've also only seen one helicopter actually spawn and that was when the server was initially set up and since then it despawned and hasn't been seen again. sconner87 0 Posted November 20, 2012 I'm currently on Namalsk (public) and myself and my squad have searched the map up and down. We see the rusted/medical crashes but not the smoking/actual crashed helis which almost all servers have. I've uninstalled the map numerous times and the server has been restarted quite a lot. Mr Nasty 1023 Posted November 20, 2012 Hmmmm. As it is I dont see many crash sites on Namalsk. Not sure what the issue is or if there is one at all.Not much you would be able to do from the Vilayer server console. You could open a ticket with vilayer however I dont think there is much they can or will do.There may be a log you can check to see if there are actually some spawned but I dont have enough knowledge of log files or tables to be useful. sconner87 0 Posted November 20, 2012 Yeah, thanks for the advice. I have just ticketed them and I'll see how their response is, although most of the time their customer support is terrible. SquishyBear 31 Posted November 20, 2012 I've read a lot of things on this forum about vilayer servers having issues spawning helicopters and heli crashes. I used to play on one and after finding a choppah and crashing it, it just seemed to disappear, never to be seen again.I don't own any servers but just from the feedback I've read, you may be better off spending your money on a different company. Though I'm sure there are a few threads about it on here or you could always google something and ask for advice in this forum.
