Arma 2: OA arrived... in french

hey all

i ordered ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead to get Dayz running, but the game they've sent me is in a box with all the text in french

will that mean i have to play dayZ in french, or can i just change the language setting and it'll be fine

Try this (it's a long shot).

Go to Arma2/userconfig/ I think you need to open it with notepad, I can't remember, in there somewhere is a line that says "Language = XXXXX" try changing that to ENGLISH and save it.

French/English/Spanish I believe is one release.

German is locked, (I have a German version that I bought before the European version was released.

You should be able to select English in the Game options.

Correct me if I'm incorrect.

ive not installed it yet, im waiting for my new gaming rig to arrive (my 2 year old compaq simply cant run ARMA II on its own), i wanted to know if i should send it back

and if teh french and english are all the same release, i guess i dont have to worry about reading in french (unless i can't find the right options menu)
