legio4777 0 Posted November 19, 2012 hey guys,i´m a noooooob player lol....!!I need to know why when i log out for a break and then I log in, I don´t have my equipment, I respawn again without the achieved loot. Its frustrating. I use to play in veteran servers.The only way to have my gear is using the same server I was playing. Nevertheless I have understood that It wasnt like that.I´been diving in the forum to find any answer without success. Could someone give me some tips.What I have to do to respawn with my loot? sheepdawg 278 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Public Hive = Server with persistent stats and inventory across ALL servers that run on the Public HivePrivate Hive = Server that hosts its own database results for stats and inventory. These private hives differ from SERVER TO SERVER. Say server X,Y,Z are Public Hive servers. Your weapons, items and stats will remain the same regardless of which server you choose.Now server A,B,C are Private Hive servers. Playing on server A will only save your stats etc on server A. Going to server B will make it appear that you are "Starting over". Same thing if you went to server C.I hope that helps clarify a bit. RuecanOnRails (DayZ) 23 Posted November 20, 2012 If you open up dayz commander, you will have a few sections you can navigate listed near the top.SERVERS, SEARCH, RECENT, FAVORITES, FRIENDS.The second you double click to enter a server it will be saved in your recent tab which you can then add to the favorites for safe keeping and easy joining. Logging in using recent/favorite will ensure you are always logging into the same server/hive. Logging into the same server is important because tents and vehicles are not interchangeable from server to server even in the same hive. Each server will have it's own set of vehicles that can not be transferred from one server to the next. So if you find a vehicle hide it in some trees you wont be able to find it again unless you are on the same server.If you want to play on the official dayz servers only and not the other hives/maps you in the SERVERS tab, on the left side you will have filters you can apply In the drop down box select "DayZ Only" then check "hide unofficial"Every server that is listed with those filters your character, items, and location will all transfer without any problems.
