How can i choose the right server ping for me ?

i seen a lot of different pings in servers and you have a ping filter that say maximum ping so how can i choose the right ping for my internet connection

Its the time a packet takes to travel from your node to the remote node and back. This time is being measured in ms (milliseconds).

A ping of 50 would equal 25ms of travel time from you to the server.

Lower is better essentially.

Oh and since using search engines is not everyones cup of tea:

Anything below 100 ping is usually pretty good.

You can press P while in game to see your ping on the right side of the screen.

Yeah I have mine set to the point it turns from green to yellow on DayZ Commander which is 150, though I still try and join the lowest with the most on :D
