M24 rarity

I don't know if I have been getting lucky or the loot sheets have had a change around but has anyone else noticed how much more common the M24 is? I used to search high and low for them but I never found them, I would find 100 noob cannons (DMRs) before I found a single M24. Lately though, I have found a few. One in the Elektro power station, one at the NWAF and one on a player I killed.

If the loot sheets have been changed then this is a massive step in the right direction, now all we need is the SVD to be more common, the DMR to be super rare and .50cals to be removed from the barracks with only a tiny chance of an M107 spawning at the barracks

I found one at the Stary Sobor tents. Never found a DMR though and I'm a legit player.

M24 is a good rifle, but DMR you can use with NVG's!

m24 has actually been more common in looting than people believe. Ive looted them from firehouses, deer stands, and military tents.

I've legit found DMRs, M24, AS50 and M107s. For a variety of reasons I've never had the chance to fire any of them. The only weapons I've killed another player with are Winchester and Makarov.

The most guns i find are DMRs, M16/M4 variants, except the good ones, but i think a half year has passed since i found an M24

I mostly prefer the DMR anyway because of the semi-auto fire

Found a L85A2 AWS yesterday...pointless gun really, couldnt use it any good during day because of the CWS sight was way to bright and I play on a non crosseye server. At nighttime the server is usually empty.

Another day I found a Bizon PP-19 SD, pointless too since ive never even seen the ammo for the gun haha

of course if I had a camp with tent it would make more sense to to store them

I have the l85 at the moment. I love it. I switch from NV mode to thermal. Its like a mini sniper rifle with its variable zoom and zeroing!

If Im playing on a server that allow waypoints on the map (you know to get range) or I have rangefinder I would prefer the M24. Just easier for me.

I've never even seen one in all my time playing. I've found every other weapon besides the rocket launcher.

M24 is a good rifle, but DMR you can use with NVG's!

That's what I mean, shouldn't the DMR be a lot harder to find due to how versatile it is?Semi auto, 20 round magazine and if you're on a server with crosshairs enabled, it's pretty OP. It almost becomes a CQB weapon as well as a weapon capable of shooting out to 500m easily enough.

The M24 should, and now seems to be, slightly more common

Literally haven't seen an M24 in months, same goes for a CZ 550. Maybe it's where I gear up though - which is usually at heli crash sites and other people's tents, plenty of DMRs, M107s and AS50s at those.

I have never found one, I just take them off the players I kill. Which has only happend twice.

The one time I found one I blew right past it with NVGS on after my buddy threw a flare infront of me... He picked it up and laughed his way to the bank while I kept my sturdy winchester have not seen one since.

I dont mean to insult if you already know this, but you can break down a DMR mag into 4 mags of M24 ammo, and in my experience DMR mags are everywhere.

I have found 3 m24s, one I lost in a reset, and another I died with. AND the private hive I had the 3rd one on shut down :(

Found it quite often, never shot it tho.

I am curious, do people agree that the DMR should be a lot rarer and the M24 more common? The DMR is ridiculously OP for how common it is
