Getting Back in DayZ, whats the hacking like

So i quit playing back in august due to the ridicules amount of hacking. Was sad because Dayz was a great mod.

Anyway im redownloading arma so i can play again. so my question is. whats the hacking like? still out of control or has battle eye started to get on top of the hacks?

I'm not sure, but I've seen some friendly hackers giving my weapons and 1 bad hacker, and I've played more than 50 hours, and been at NW Airfield 2 times.

Might have to find my self a nice friendly private server, I was running my own when i was playing. but it was over run lol

I been on around 5 different servers and not meet one in around a month. Could just be luck but their numbers are on the decrease.

Varies completely.

Some days it seems like I join nothing but hacker servers but sometimes I go long stretches without an incident.

Don't forget to get DayZ commander it gives you more choice and allows you to download the new maps available.

With regards to hackers they are spread out or over at warz pissing them off. If you go private and sign up with decent group you won't get hackers again!
