Squad logo on vehicles

Recommended Posts

Back when I was playing Operation Flashpoint we were able to make our squad logo appear on the side of vehicles when we occupied them. I would expect the engine still supports this and would love to see it as part of Dayz. We had squad logo on armbands and balaclavas as well but I think that's been covered enough in other posts.

Are you talking about having it in the Mod or the standalone, because you can have have a squad XML in Arma 2/DayZ Mod.

Hello there

Just be aware not all A2 vehicles (DLC's especially) are equipped to handle them.

Yeah, its definitely possible, I've seen a few on choppers and cars. However, I think its prohibitively complicated and thats why you hardly see them. i looked into myself, but it was far too hard for me, i dont know shit about XML >.< But they do look cool as hell and i wish it was simple to do, maybe even built into the stand alone that would be awesome.

If I remember correctly it was not that hard to do. Point in fact, I am or was a noob to computers back in 2003 and I managed to pull it off.

Hullo there

They are fun, but can be an absolute pig to set up. Be prepared for some *possible* angst.

Although there used to be some XML hosting websites back in the day, if they still exist. Perhaps worth a google?
