intensity (DayZ) 312 Posted November 9, 2012 That's terrible. You should ask Rocket for a refund.

That being anything you do on one private hive, does not cross over from hive to hive, and they also do not cross over to the public hives? If you were playing on the same server, and that server lost all your stuff, it goes back to, well it is alpha...
major.skrewup@gmail.com 177 Posted November 9, 2012 did you happen to disrespect a can of mountain dew? thats taboo in dayz.
HIHBGaming 14 Posted November 9, 2012 Unfortunately it happens and we just have to suck it up. I lost a bunch of good stuff due to my favourite private hive patching DayZ to the current version. I wasn't happy but it's just part and parcel of DayZ and you have to learn to accept this, whether it's by death or other means. Was on day 15 with this character as well but, like I said all just part of what can happen.I'm sure the SA will not have quite as many bug issues like this, so we can at least look forward to that. eliasu 0 Posted November 9, 2012 well ive done this over 3 days so ive been playing on many diffrent servers...
Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 9, 2012 It sounds like you were playing on the main hive before and then accidentally went in to a private hive server where you have no saved character.
sheepdawg 278 Posted November 9, 2012 It sounds like you were playing on the main hive before and then accidentally went in to a private hive server where you have no saved character. This^I would recommend DayZCommander as you can "Favorite" servers that way there is no confusion. If you were on a public hive then went to private hive(or vise versa) then this is exactly your problem...if not then I feel bad for you.
eliasu 0 Posted November 9, 2012 is there anyway to get it back? :(
Solitude 42 Posted November 9, 2012 is there anyway to get it back? :(If you're using DayZ Commander go to recent servers and make sure you're in the same one you were when you had your gear.
Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 9, 2012 If you were playing on the main hive before...Get DayZ Commander and use the 'hide unofficial' option. This will only show main hive servers. If you were playing private hive before...Your gear will only be saved on the server that you originally played on. You'll have to find it again.

Mos1ey 6301 Posted November 10, 2012 Well it sounds like you have actually lost your gear then. Unlucky! The mod is still in alpha testing though, you'll have to put up with losing your character to bugs or hackers from time to time. On the bright side... Now you can go and find some more gear! xD

The Bean Marine 29 Posted November 10, 2012 Too bad man good luck finding some new gear
fathairybeast 246 Posted November 10, 2012 Probably the result of the latest g-aedar1.493.3 sub-patch. Must have set it off somehow and the server stripped you of your gear.Know that feel bro. However, just try to figure out what server you played on with all that gear. Go back in, if you have your gear in there then simply stick to that server, sometimes the patch will auto-correct if you do this.
