Is my friend's laptop ok?

Recommended Posts

Would this be on a good route for a pc that my friend can play on??

He only gave me this info though, so I hope it is good enough, he ain't the best with pc's anyway, dont want to confuse him.

  • AMD E1-1200 processor
  • Genuine Windows® 8
  • Memory: 4 GB
  • Hard drive: 1TB

Not much to work on, but atleast try haha:)

Thanks

It's meh the 4GB memory is bad, AMD E1-1200 processor is crap win 7 is better, and the hard drive is great... keep the drive, get more memory and scrap the rest

Specifics on the processor (Ghz), the graphics card and HDD speed would be nice to know.

Don't let the GHz confuse you...it's still "only" a dual core. i5s already have a difficult time making the game work, my buddy has a laptop with an i5 ( 3GHzish ) with a 600 series GPU and 6 GB RAM and he can only play it at high ( most settings ) without having significant framedrop. But also a server can make a client PC have a lot of performance issues if it doesn't run well. I joined the russkie server today and had low fps in some locations it gave me headaches, the day before it wasn't a problem.
