The day I met everyone's despise in DayZ

After a somewhat tragic and frustrating death involving me being sniped from no where for no reason by whatever asshat with free time to spare. I spawn in the midst of Komarovo. Lucky me, my friend was waiting for me in Balota, so I directly make my way over there. Once arrived, he said he had moved to the medical tents. Once I checked the comms station for any loot, I head back down to run over to the tents until 2 guys run out of a hangar barely 20 meters away. Both were survivors with axes. I was unarmed. Too bad, ain't got nothing to lose. I follow them from behind and quite surprisingly, they never thought about looking behind them, just barely 15 meters away. Suddenly, they drop to the floor. Did they see me?, Were we getting shot? Only one way to find out; I run into both of they going like ''Hey guys.''. Sounded like a retard, but who cares. They both stare at me with their axes lying down. Then finally one goes ''Hey''. SO I ask how they doing and what where they were going. They said they were going after the sniper in the Balota medical tents.

Fuck. That was my friend. Too bad let's play undercover for now. So I lie down on the ground, trying to be sneaky.

Why did I ever lie down.

One of them starts swinging his axe around me. By the time the horrendously slow prone-to-stance animation ends, he already chopped my head off and I'm dead. All he ever had from me was a flashlight, painkillers and a tin can. Oh, and you can't grab the hero skin away from me.

You fucking cunt.

I spawn again. And look at this; Komaravo again. I start looking around for an axe despite all the horde I had on me and finally find one. Then I make a run for it back to the medical tents. After what seems like an hour (Which was in fact 5 minutes), I finally reach the tents. There stood my lifeless body from pre-birth. Painkillers were scrounged. Are you shitting me? Too bad. They had to be close by. After a bit off stealthy observation, I finally see a backpack swinging back and forth in the grass about 20 meters from the tents. They had no idea I was there. I ran up to them and proceeded to chop the leg off of one. Unconscious. The other one spotted me. He get's up and starts swinging his axe. So did I. After swiftly and skilfully dodging his attacks (With whatever skills to dodge you can have with the ArmA 2 engine anyway) I swing my hatchet and hit him. Unconscious too. I can't just leave them there now can I? I'm better than that?

Or maybe I can.

Both get out off hourclock land and both try crawling to me and swinging with whatever strength they had left in their weak bodies. All the hate and banditry could be seen in their glary eyes concealed behind a survivor skin, screaming nonsense and insults through the mic. I just backed up and watched this somewhat ironic, sad and funny scene. I continued to do so until the very last bit of life (In this case, blood) drain away from them. And they both stop. Forever.

I retrieve my painkillers from one of the assailant's body, then walk down the road to Cherno. In slo-mo. With Ozzy Osbourne's ''Mama I'm coming home'' playing in the background.

Going to find a more justifiable and unfair death over there.

I had a similar situation yesterday.

Three guys on side chat met up as friendlies, I decided to check them out and approached cautiously as they said they were in a bus by cherno.

I see two unarmed guys reparing a bus and step out and ask them where they were heading. A burst fire of FN FAL kills me and they tell the server im a bandit trying to steal their bus.

They loot my body and my M4 and I head back, all I find is a winchester on the way back with 15 bullets. I creep through the woods and on sidechat one of the 3 guys gets killed, turns out 2 of the bandits decided they didnt want to be friends with him anymore and shot him, or maybe they argued over who should have my gun.

I get back there in the trees and see the two morons standing in the open by the bus I say "Surprise assholes", I unload my winchester at the tyres, taking out one that they just spent ages finding :)

I fire at them, hitting one of them and suddenly.....SERVER RESTART OMFG

I spawn in first to see their bus has repaired it self but the game took my ammo for some reason. I wait for them to spawn in so I can run them over but they use the glitch where if you quit while its loading your sent to the coast (they knew I was waiting)

So I steal the bus and tell them i took it, the bandits rage so much im threatened with things from being sniped to being hacked, apparently he has a map hack and flying hack and knows where I am. Sure, thats why im still alive

Me and a friend find a church, I reverse the bus inside and blow out the tyres and let everyone on the server know where the bus is, but never say it was damaged beyond repair
