I want the game, but want to wait!

Hey everyone, I am a new member of the forums, and have been following the forums since october. I have been waiting for the release of the standalone, but not I have become obsessed, and want to play the game really bad. So whats the issue? just buy the damn thing! The issue is that I cannot buy it, or I will be unable to purchase the standalone, and that is where everything is going. Any suggestions on what I could do? I know I can pirate it, and use software to play online with other pirates, but I don't want to, as it is illegal, and I think that it is unfair for the creators of Arma II.

Depending on your age? And im going to assume 14-16

Go knock on doors, ask for small jobs, (wash cars,whatever) buy a prepaid visa, when standalone comes out Buy it, and buy the current arma2OA now with your current money.

2. Buy Arma now, And figure out wtf ur gonna do when standalone comes out (Fun now vs Fun later)

3. Dont say stupid shit like "i could pirate it". yeah, that is illegal, im not trying to be "That guy" But why risk that?

4. Get a job? beg your parents? you do realize when Standalone "comes out" Its going to be at a discounted price VS release price? you wont have to earn that much money, Go sell something...

Im glad i could help, And dont procrastinate! go earn that money, have both, hell....earn enough for Arma 2OA, (dayz) dayZ standalone and Arma 3! just for the hell of it (if your an arma fan) of course im just saying what i would do, but i actually bought Arma2 to play Arma2 so yeah :/

Alright... Screw waiting, I canceled the netflix that I pay for, and everything else, and I will have enough for Arma II, and the standalone when it comes out! Sort of a pointless thread, but I was hoping there would be a cheaper solution to getting dayz, but still paying

cheaper solution would have been to buy combined operations pack during the steam summer sale when it was down to $17.99. however since that is long since gone you may either do what youre saying now, or wait longer and hope it comes up again in steams next sale. if youre as tight on money as you make it sound, waiting might be beneficial. its not like the game or its players are going anywhere ;)
