Live shout box for forums

Where is it? Most forums I have joined have a shout box, a live message box. This would benefit this forum as I know a lot of people spend a lot of time here!

From a moderator point of view it would be a nightmare.

I like the shout box system on Forums but not here,,,please...

I hate the idea. On smaller community forum's they're great for having a quick chat. On here it would just be a spambox and give the usual attention seekers another place to troll.

I have a chatango room set up for anyone wanting to chat about DayZ and such, was thinking of making it before, your suggestion decided it.

But an on-site chat would be a pain for everyone involved. Lag and likely the admins would have several rage spasms.

Anywho. Chat ahoy, or maybe? Something?

Got to agree here, The trolls would feed eternally with a Shout box installed and the regulations in place would need constant moderating.

Good idea yes but in the end would take up too much time and resources to monitor.
