Killed someone in self-defense. Now I am a bandit.

Well, that's it.

I was walking around at Elektro and another Survivor started to shoot at me. I shot him and killed him.

Now I am a bandit.

What do I do know? I cant survive for more then 10 minutes. I get killed instantly.

Yeah man, that sucks. I've been in a bandit skin sometimes and still being able to find friendlies though. :)

Lucky you. I can't find anyone friendly with a bandit skin. Every time someone sees me, I get shot or killed.

You can either just continue to play without killing survivors or heroes... your humanity will increase 30 points per minute. You can also give medical aid to people, but its best to do this with a buddy, because as you know random people wont trust you as a bandit. Medical aid increased your humanity faster, depending on the action you perform. This of course requires you to go into cities with hospitals so you can get the supplies to perform the treatments. What is your humanity number at currently?

When I play with my hero skin the exact same happens. Doesn't matter what skin you have, or how much humanity you have people want you dead. Grab some blood bags and grab a friend who enjoys getting hit and refilled.

i dont know why when i kill people in self defense i become a bandit aswell.

I mean if they get a can of beans they could outlive me find a gun and kill me.

i have to kill them first.

Killing anyone changes the way to perceive your fellow man, even when it's in self defense.

If you solve all your conflicts with violence, you're bound to end as a permanent bandit. If you're not interested in being a bandit, you must leave the populated areas and venture into the wilderness, while you regenerate your humanity. It might take you a couple of hours, you can use those to decide whether you want to survive by the gun or not.

I find others decide if i live by the gun or not. I try to watch people when i can to see how they are acting. you can normally tell someone thats activly hunting others. I will avoid when i can. But ill not let someone kill me because i dont want to kill others. If i get a bandit skin because I defended my self ill wear it proudly.

Hang on. Are you saying that you shoot unarmed players that you happen to come across, and then argue that it was self-defence because if they had been allowed to live, they might have found a gun and that would make them a potential threat to you? That is not self-defence. That's murder.
