Sekra 1 Posted June 15, 2012 Wrong! There is nothing wrong with this beta. Problem is with a server setting that needs to be edited for it to work with latest client. Usage of 93825 on any server without the edit -> kickUsage of 93825 on servers with the edit -> profitProof: My server, DE 48 running on latest beta (required to join) just fine. oldhairyone 2 Posted June 15, 2012 I came off Dayz after a lengthy session this evening, played mostly on UK101. I saw the new announcement thread regarding the imminent update, and installed the latest Beta patch as it suggested. I then tried to join UK101 again, and just as the audio appeared (sea, birds, etc.), an error box pooped up, stating "Battleye Script Restriction #16" and then I was kicked. What do?Happens on any server that lets me connect. Also, I've tried to uninstall the Beta patch, but I can't find it. I have the steam version of Arma II: CO

Wotane 0 Posted June 16, 2012 Here is how to fix this for server hosts:http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?135936-ARMA-2-OA-beta-build-93825-(1-60-MP-compatible-build-post-1-60-release)&p=2172746&viewfull=1#post2172746
FieldMedic 7 Posted June 16, 2012 I'm getting this intermittently as well now after updating to Beta #93825.Will roll back to 93701
kingsims 0 Posted June 16, 2012 Its a server side issue not client side once the server admins edit the scripts.txt file and remove one line.Fix yours scripts.txt and remove the 5 alex or similar line. BattleEye will now work correctly. This is pretty much to "Lock" the gamma values to server side defaults. So tampering with local gamma has no effect because it gets overridden with server side settings. This effectively now means Chemlights, NVG's are a must on Night Time. malice42 4 Posted June 16, 2012 There are occassions when connecting to a server that I receive this error, and it boots me. Other times it runs completely ok.Why is this happening? I am running no expansions/addons other than beta and @dayz. My readout when I load up is:"Arma 2betaExpansion@Dayz"I am obviously not hacking, nor have I ever. Does anyone ever get this error readout, and if so, do they know the cause of it?Thank you,CassianThis just hit me on 3 connects in a row.Fourth it worked fine. boneboys 7988 Posted June 16, 2012 As far as I can tell, this is a server side problem. not client. One of the BIS dev's has given the answer to a server admin.Try another server !
qweets 31 Posted June 16, 2012 its the new beta patch, you need to roll back to the last one. To do this just go into your OA folder then expansions then delete everything in the beta folder and then run the patch before this one and it wont happen.
