Using empty whisky bottles and tin cans in unique ways

After finding nothing but empty whisky bottles and tin cans in chenro i got frustrated and thought why isnt their a use for these items. Here are two simple ways i thought these items can be used.

Whisky bottles: Crushed glass

Players could crush the bottle and spread the glass shards on the floor. Anyone who steps on the shards will make a loud crushing noise that will alert players and zombies that are in close proximity. No harm will come to the player when stepping or crawling on the glass and it would be possible to vault over the glass if spotted. This idea of makeing noise when steping on shartered glass can be implamented at the hospital, as it requires you to shoot the glass windows to get in. (I havnt decide on whether you can hear players crushing bottles tell me what you think)

Tin Cans: String them up to make a noise trap

Makeing a noise trap with empty soda bottles is nothing new, outwoods men and campers have always used them so why not implament it to dayz. To make this simple trap all you need a couple of tin cans and string. Finding tin cans is easy but where am i going to find string you say, well i got that covered. With bows rumored to be in the standalone, it would most likely be very common and a good start up weapon for new and recently killed players. After finding a gun players who dont want to drop there bow just to have another player pick it up and kill them with it can have the option to unstring their bow. Being required to find and use string from bows instead of having string a spawn item found in loot piles lessens the chance of this trap being spamed on every square inch of cherno and elcetro.

So what do think: good ideas or are they just annoying?

Good ideas. I think we should also be able to combine junk items and a grenade or two to craft an IED.

Sorry, but there are uses for them, just not as many as most players would like! Haven't u killed a zed or a player with cans? How do you get in hospitals quietly?

no lol i never tried to use them in that manner, but i managed to get by with the axe/crowbar. anyway thanks for the positive feed back, flattery get you everywhere

You really should quote people every time you comment about their posts.

And Whiskey bottles or tin cans can be used as a distraction when thrown. They make sound which attracts zombies. And tends to freak players out.

They can also be used as a way to break the Hospital glass in cities, quietly.
