Suggestion to fix DayZ hacking.

Recommended Posts

I thought up a suggestion to all the hacking going on why not just go to a hackers forum and patch their hacks as they release them.

I looked this up in Google i mean why can't they patch this:huh:

Example hacker site to ban people

I removed the link to spare the hacking website of having to deal with people who can't use google and could only find the site through your post.

We know the hacking sites, they know we know. They know we know they know.

The people who actually make the hacks, these people are smart. Often very smart. The people that were caught, and banned. These people were those who got hold of and used these hacking tools.

Will we ever get ahead of the smart hackers? We will never know, because you won't even know they are there. But it's the opportunists that have been caught by BattlEye and will continue to be caught.

OK i see Rocket are you letting them be unintentional Security testers then or are you just banning everyone at the end of the week just curious?

There are several different kinds of bans:

- Server Bans: issued by a server admin, unique to server

- Global Bans: issued by BattlEye, all ArmA2 servers

- Database Bans: issued by DayZ, all DayZ servers

Interesting i can see your a cool guy i wasn't expecting someone high up as you to reply to lil old me have you been monitoring the forums often i rarely see a post by you. Also i just thought of something why do the server admins rarely enforce the rules I've been on a lot of servers and i honestly never see one if they are aiming to be silent enforcers i can get that but i feel they are to detached from the community at large to be effective.
