I have my own server. I rented 1 for a few months in the past and finally 1 day I had 2-3 hackers constantly loggging in and teleporting all vehicles so I shut it down. I thought with the new update things would be diffrent but I was wrong. Even in a private server tonight somone managed not only to hack but they took control of my server. They could talk in global chat and ban players. The cheat is not good enough to remove bans but they can still kick who ever they want. Any idea how they do this and how to prevent it or termiate the hack ? IP Removed. I did a GUI ban but he came back after server restart with a new name and new gui.

I'm also having this problem, my server is the HFBservers, the only vehicles that save items are Ural and VS. I sent a ticket to them but they said it would be a problem in mod.

Ugh... really? Now you're removing the ambulances and UH60M as well? Come on! If you're removing the Humvee Ambulance, at least add the S1203 Ambulance back in... And isn't there an alternative to the medivac helicopter (or is it possible to remove the healing ability)? This patch was the best one yet, as it finally added more vehicles (especially helicopters), and now all we get is a two-seat littlebird... Please explore alternative air vehicles, as this is just such a shame and buzzkill. I'm tired of the Huey.

I would like to see more Russian Crash sites, but also you could add Vehicle stash sites. Imagine your running through a forest and come to a clearing and there is a Russian truck parked up with special military gear on it. It could be the same level of military spawns as a chopper, they shouldn't only have choppers and barracks for relevant gear. The more i think of it there should be more Loot spawns near or around all vehicles.

You don't have a map at fresh spawn. You need to find one. The first thing you could do is find a little town (avoid Cherno and Electro if you are unarmed) and get basic gear. You can find Lee Enfields, soda cans and food in farms. You need a map and a compass, so loot the red and orange houses (pretty sure you will find makarovs and m1911's). Supermarkets to get a sweet Alice Pack and you're on. Head to a large city to get morphine in a Hospital. If you want better (military) weapons and you're afraid to been killed in Cherno Electro, just travel along wilderness (if you have hatched, matches and knife, you can hunt animals) and scout for deer stands, usually located in tree lines. Vehicles... well, take in mind that in most cases all vehicles are taken and they are pretty hidden. But probably you can find them in the forrest in the north edge of the map.

i was thinking that tons of the hackers would stop if we are able to keep our stuff on death and more vehicles maybe have a editor or free play to build up a base and hold out for the people that like the game but hate losing there hard earned stuff and for roleplaying

So recently I've been looking at joining private hives and it's given the mod a new breath of life for me. Unfortunatly the hives I've joined almost always end up being the stomping ground for some clan who are really just using the private hive as an excuse to control 1 or more helicopters which in turn allows them to find any and all vehicles, camps and crash sites. Playing cat and mouse with a clan can be fun for a while but it can get tiresome if you're always the mouse, dying and being sent back to the coast on an almost daily basis. So really what I'm looking for is a medium-high populated server where I could play solo or duo with a friend, where we wouldn't just get obliterated over and over again by a single dominant squad or clan. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thought about it, but I thought that'd be a waste, since their location is known by a semi-sized clan, and maybe I could steal out of them. But right now, there's a war going on between 2 clans, and I'm sort of on the side of the rivals of the vehicle pack-owning clan, so blowing them up would help in the oncoming battles (as the clan could come up and fuel 'em up when they need more vehicles...)

Me and my group of four were playing on a server called BanZore.com, a DayZ Lingor server. We found a few player bases and raided them then the servers clan Bz (Banzore) got on and were freaking out because we legitly found their stuff and killed them a few times. So they finally decided to hunt us down they used the server admin to tell them where we were, along with using the admin to tellt hem where supplies and vehicles were, so we were sniping from the woods in maruko killed their team of eight multiple times winning the unoffical clan battle so then they started banning us and saying we were disrespecting their clan because we were just plan old better players so me and one of my friends get banned for, as the admin put it, "Jerking Off" I wasn't able to upload the screenshot to this post because the picture was to large but if you would like to see the screenshot send me your e-mail and i'll send it to you.

Next week sometime, we're making the map animated so it draws trails behind moving players and vehicles and that's like 80% done, then we have to do rotation so you can change the direction buildings/vehicles are facing (if they all faced north it would be kind of lame) and then we can finally add the building spawns.

Things (most) people like: - More vehicles. - Better starting gear/possibly even a Deathmatch server. - NOT Chernarus (You could mix it up a little with Namalsk & Panthera. - Active admins/moderators to keep hacking under control - Friendly admin support, maybe even some sort of website where people can post claims for people hacking, sending support messages etc. - Well set up server (Advertised restarts, up to date etc.) A well organised programmer and someone who is efficient with SQL can make this process much easier and much better. Honestly, the more admins the better. I had about 10 admins/moderators helping out with my server (even costs).

US 1016 is run by the United Gaming Federation or UGF. We own a 40 slot private hive server with 75 vehicles. currently the map is set Chernarus but will often be changed to other maps periodically. We encourage squad play and just want a populated server to play on. Server has active admins and has custom script detection. Side chat is also enabled along with crashed helis there are crashed AC-130's crashed Blackhawk helicopters and care package drops, which all spawn military loot making it even easier to gear up quickly! Looking for a stable public server to make a camp get vehicles ect. One that isn't just gona go after a month . Fucked off with setting up gear just for the server to dissapere without warning. Can you accomadate us?

What happened was that you all thought the server was hacked because all your stuff was taken. That's the only thing that happened that day. Your camp was cleared out and not even by me. A camp on the NW outskirts of the map where every new player will look for camps. In the Dayz chat I was told that no one could've found that camp legally (surprise, we did. Every camp can be found) and because everything was gone you all decided to have a look and see where all the vehicles had gone. There was absolutely NO indication that the server had been hacked and because you saw that the heli's were off map you decided to teleport them back. What I tried to tell you all is that your logic is flawed and that it's unfair what you guys did. You didn't check for hackers... you assumed there were. But just to be sure you also moved your camps to other places, just in case it were legit players that took your stuff. We were talking about this in a normal manner and both sides were annoyed but then you, Mindblank the admin, came online and started swearing and cursing at us (everyone had been talking politely before) and telling us to f&ck off and shouldn't cry because our heli was taken back. You got nasty because you were annoyed. You say we attacked you, but that's not the case. Took screenshots too and the only one that got nasty was you and you do it again in these posts. I don't mind it if my stuff gets taken in Dayz and I play fair. All the time on your server we never bothered anyone and you could've treated us with at least some respect. What I saw on this server was childish behavior. By admins taking back their stuff under the hacker pretense and by being verbally abusive when confronted with that. Like I said online: if you are playing fair you don't check on vehicle locations when they go missing. Thats an abuse of powers. And I also said that when you found out that they were taken legally it would be fair to reset them instead of keeping them for yourself. Not for me but to be fair. I already said I wouldn't come back on a server where admins check locations without any REAL reason.

Hi. Today I was playing DayZ with my clan (6 people). It was on a private server. Everything was fun and we had amazing gear. 1 URAL, 3 UAZ, 1 car and 1 mini bus. Everyone had good weopons and alice backpacks. We got a nice base that were very hiden. It was in the top left corner of the map in a valley, and the cars were placed in the leaves so they were less visual. So the chance of finding that place were extreamly hard. Now the hacker strikes. Two days before there were a hacker on the server, he killed 4 people with 2 shots. And we weren't that close each other. The hacker that were on the server today were even more cruel. We killed him twice and after each time he teleported 10meters from us and had the same gear every time. He had ghillie suit, AS50, and a ton of other good stuff. After that he telled us in the direct chat that he bought some hacks and he teleported every vehicles on the server to him and some people. Please ban this guy before he continues!!! hey guys i have found a server on fallujah that had 200-300 vehicles with loot in them anything from as50's to m107's anything m106 launchers al sorts of stuff, problem is its hacker infested and admins suck. My question is how does someone make a server with custom loot like this and were do i buy a server. Im soooo tired of hackers and want to make a fun server for anyway to join and have at it, pvp make camp, kill zombies the whole 9 yards any help with this would be great and if someone helps me with this ill give some admin slots if interested thanks again guys.
