You sure about this? More vehicles especially ones for a specific purposes will be signifying a direction of play! Ambulances for medics, public transport for survivors, and an ice cream van for me!

Im basiclly looking for a server that uses Custom skins , has factions /bases. But factions that actually contribute survivors like , faction that trades , defends , or gives medical aid. Also custom vehicles would be nice.. If you know any server like this please reply :)

No other way? I have no idea how the phpMyAdmin thing works. I'm playing with it now. Figuring out how to set min/max vehicles etc. Pretty confusing for someone who hasn't done this stuff before :P

gravatrax, I wouldn't mind some form of singleplayer/private hosted game, like alot of games do now you host them on your own computer and yes zombies shouldn't be able to climb ladders, also running through doors, maybe they could bash them open if they know a player is inside? I'm not sure about choosing your own spawn but maybe more random so say you could spawn somehwere inland on the outskirts of towns etc. The Khan, agreeing with you on the zombie spawns, once you clear a town no more zeds should spawn aslong as you stay with the town's 'boundaries', also something that's been mentioned quite a few times is a few zombies that spawn in forests and inside of buildings. Maybe they could combine all maps into one big world? idk how big of a job that'd be though, pretty big I imagine. Also agreeing with you on the vehicles, but then you'd get alot of players just driving around, also fixing vehicles, you should be able to take parts from one vehicle of the same kind and use them on another and the fuel consumption is terrible, it needs to be a bit longer me thinks before you run out.

Sup Guys, I wrote a php script to modify DayZ's sql dataset. This script runs on a simple webserver (same server where my dayz server is running). Currently my scipt can: Players Stats Player Health Status Player Inventory Spawned Items Spawned Vehicles (and Status) Itemspawnpoints (and Chance) Vehiclespawnpoints (and Chance) AND modify any of the listed Informations By permanently checking the Inventory i can detect Hackers by scanning for special Weapons/Vehicles. It should be finished in a few Weeks.

Hey all, My buddy and I decided to open up a private hive server! Looking for players to join in, we welcome all playing styles.. Anything goes in our server except for cheating. Trying to have a good time without others cheating and ruining the game for everyone. I am Pablo. The server is up. I had to reboot it once more. We will be updating in the next few days but like Byrd said we will have to readd all the vehicles and during that time also add a few more. This new bliss hive update adds a few things so if you are someone who donates I believe we will be able to give custom loadouts meaning when you die and respawn you will respawn with certain gear. I haven't used this yet but I will be playing around with it. This way we can give something back for the people who help us out. So far I am glad we are having quite a few regulars and I hope that grows. Once everything is ironed out and balanced I think the server will be a fun place for everyone. Ooo. Will these vehicles be added in all maps or just Chernarus?

Everything seems to be up, but we cannot get any vehicles to spawn.

I'm working on a server that will be application/whitelist/invite only. It may not be up for a week or so though, as I am trying to figure out how to mod the Chernarus map a bit to add a little flavour to it. Send me a PM if you're interested and I will let you know when it's up and running. There will be a zero tolerance to cheating. But I can't guarantee the odd cheater wont get on, so if that happens I won't be "reimbursing" lost items and vehicles etc.

I'm currently playing Namalsk, I'm not a bandit, and I've run into a couple of friendly people. I think the map is condusive to banditry though, simply because of all the military spawns. Has anybody found any vehicles in Namalsk?

Hey Guys and Galls! I'm looking for some players for my newly passworded server, After 7 hackers destroyed our public server that was always full and very popular. I have decided to turn it to private because it is unfair to every one that looses items over and over again and to the Admins (mainly me) that have to check logs, find the hackers and ban ect, ect! We are looking for all kind of players mainly Europe because the server is hosted by Vilayer and is in Luxenbourg but ported for UK players ect (but still feel free to ask as we have 3-4 US players with about 100ms). We currently have active players and are looking for a few more to join us! We are looking for Clans or groups of friends to join, and not to forget the lone wolfs EVERYONE! We currently have about 2 clans on and a small group of friends, there is always people on the server and always people to track down and shoot! There is 2 choppers on the server and 30 land vehicles and 6 boats so there's always a few cars knocking about! We are mature players that like a laugh and a bit of fun there is no age cap, just need to be mature and like a bit of fun. At Peak times we hit about 20 players strong and have been hack free since we started. I hope to see you in game having a good time. We are VERY strict about hacking, ZERO toleration. If you hack, script or Break the rules in any way you will receive an irreversible ban, We just want normal down to earth players that just want to have a good time and don't want to be raped over and over again by them script kiddies. hahaha i started over after a few days. got some gear and left. i got on a hacked server (lot's of boats and other vehicles just north of NW Airfield), got shot at by some guy but it was to dark for him to actualy hit me from 200m with, i guess, an AK. shot him with my cz550 and he ran. waited to spot another player who had a ghilly, shot him. spotted another player in the tower, killed him, got his gear and left while lying in the woods. Joined the same server, and spawned in the tower? wtf? now on another server going further NE because i've never been that far north. pvp is kinda fun, but i lost my cz550. damn m16a2 better be hitting hard...

Well after this debacle added to all the others and complete lack of care it seems from SS my group are switching probably today to Dayz.ST we were gonna hold out and see what the rest of the month we paid for would bring but these constant issues are unacceptable. We went from a full server every weekend to maybe 5 players. Due to the constant lag and dysnc, now no vehicles on the server after a simple update.

Having the same exact issue. I need help with this, vehicles are like the one main goal in DayZ :P

Which files do I need to take for a full DB export? i.e. tents, vehicles, player information and gear.?

I know a few guys on that server that know the admin and the are in a squad toghether. someone stole there chopper and the guys i know said the following: We are friends with the admin, He can spawn in another one with admin tools. admins cannot -spawn in weapons or Vehicles please check that server out i'll may get direct proof tomorrow in a video.

I kinda wish there would be "other" crashed military vehicles. (instead of all of them being helicopters) Each would have it's own loot table, this way the high end gear can be spread out and lessened. Add just 1 type of sniper to spawn at each type. The .50 cals would only be on maybe a crashed Heli and maybe a APV? DMR and M24 on say a humvee and tank? You get where i am going. As it is servers who restart every 3 to 4 hours fluck up the gun-conomy, this way not every restart would spawn a helicopter crash site but maybe 2 tanks and a militia pick up. Not that I don't think this is the solution to the abuse of server restarts, but it would help some. (disclaimer) This isn't a suggestion or a plea to be implamented. Just me rambling.

Come to SWABS. Tons of friendly players, always daylight, starter gear, over 130 vehicles so its easy to find a car

Our server might be down for 2 to 3 hours for server maintenance by our server company. We will be updated to dayz 1.7.3 soon but we will have to add all the vehicles again since there is a bliss hive update as well. We are planning to do this Sunday/Monday morning/night as this will take a while to do. This will hopefully remove some bugs we are having. Thanks for the continued support.
