How to spawn more vehicles i.e C130?

a mod called rmod to expand, certain vehicles are blacklisted and can't be spawned without rmod if the vehicle exists in lingor, i knw it has different/more vehicles than chernarus then u can add it to the database vehicles, world_vehicles, instance_vehicles..these are tables within the dayz_lingorisland database vehicles, shows wht vehicles can exist in the world world_vehicles, are the spawn points for the vehicles, u can add in more spawn points instance_vehicle, is where the vehicle is in the world, if its not in instance_vehicle then it doesn't exist in the world -
I have recently set up a private hive on lingor island, i have been in a private lingor island server where there has been c130s,planes, and helis. I am using navi cat to manage data base using the most recent bliss server pack. How do i spawn these things in? Thanks, Elliot.

This idea actually came to thought, when a huey was taken down on elektro. So heres what I thought, that would actually really make sense, and require people working together to fix it. You know when its late at night, and you just have a fresh new spawn, and if your lucky, your in pitch darkness in elektro, with nothing but a flashlight. And hey, we all know the flashlight is useful, and it helps looking around for any zombies or gear around blocks and shizzle. But, even with that, its still hard to see, isnt it? Now, lets look at daylight for a second. Everyday @ DayZ, you are preparing for survival, for both day and night. During day, you get all the food you can find, some weapons, and you head out for your safety, then maybe, if your one of the friendly ones (doesint matter, just an example) you happen to make some friends and build a camp site, to chill there for the day. (this might be 99% of the things you never do, its just an example) But after a while, your ready for the day ahead, got some food, got a camp, got some vehicles, and now the night. Most people say, no night vision goggles, gg, nothing to do. (one of the examples most seen) But, what if, you could temporarily enable the power in the cities, towns, etc, for a bit of time? What I mean by that, is; During Daytime, why not team up with a couple of pepole, or even do it solo, prepare the city for the night ahead from the zombies, or even bandits? Obviuosly this wouldnt be an easy thing to do, but lets take elektro for example. All of us are familiar with the Factory in elektro, mainly of the firestation there, but nobody cares about the factory right next to it, its just a landmark. So why not, if you got some extra time on you, and want to prepare the city, you have to fetch a toolbox, and the industrial parts, to fix up the generators for the night, and enable the street lights for a few hours, until it runs out of energy (which jerrycans might be used to refuel or so) This way, theres way more stuff to do for the night for everyone, no matter if you dont have a light source. But when it comes to small towns, such as, erm, lets say starry, or even kamenka, there would be small generators, that would only require some parts, that could be fixed quicker than in major cities, such as elektro, cherno, berenzino, or even nwa. Well, thats all I gotta say, prolly messed up at some points, cause its pretty late here, but lets hope everything makes sense, cause I actually had a talk with of my friends about; what would the first thing you do in a momment like dayz in real life?, believe it or not, but after getting all the supplies I need, I would try to restore the power within the streets, if I knew how. XD

Greetings, the admin 'MiLCORE' continously kicks people for no reason. Me and my friends played a very long time on this server to gather various vehicles etc. The admin joined half an hour ago I made this post here and kicked us constantly from the server for no reason. Two guys of my group even died because they respawned under the vehicles. This is VERY annoying and a reason for us to stop with the game, it's so frustrating. Is he allowed to do that?

How about Antarctica (south-pole)? :) Building bases, flying around in helicopters and driving vehicles, snow caves.. Or some kind of underground complex ala Umrella Corporation's "Raccoon City". On a cruise liner perhaps? -
Also having the ability to siphon gas from downed choppers, wrecked vehicles and maybe even boats would be cool, siphoning should take a wee while too and siphoning kits should be very rare so grifers don't take advantage of it.

I think before you start penalizing people for player killing, you need to work on creating real, tangible reasons for working together. Penalizing a particular style of play because it runs counter to your preferred playstyle isn't very sandbox oriented at all - and bandit skins are just that - a penalty. The fact that they're extremely arbitrary ( Guy shoots a few survivors in self defense, gets a bandit skin ) only further proves that the system is inherently flawed and shouldn't be utilized. If team play were more actively encouraged through in game incentives, the mass PvP environment would naturally decrease. Right now, there's just not a lot else to DO in this game aside from killing other players, is there? Repairing vehicles and amassing piles of loot in your tents gets old after a while, I think almost everyone can agree on this. There's no real base building, there's no real effective way to trade aside from dropping stuff on the ground, and there's no real 'end game' for people that don't want to participate in deathmatch. -

So, I know this is an english forums, and you don't speak portuguese, but I'm trying to get members to my brazillian clan, Last Kings, and I don't have any other way to announce. :/ As I am brazillian (and I think I am not the only one here), I'll give a try! If you are brazillian and understood everything I just wrote you're probably a mature guy, and you are probably playing in an american or english server, because we all hate brazillians for their immaturity, I agree. But we're playing in a very nice server, with around 10 ~ 20 players daily, and they are all friendly and mature guys, its a private hive (BR 9090), and our clan is filled with only mature guys. If you don't speak portuguese I am the only one there who knows how to speak english, so it's gonna be hard to play there! Right now we have 10+ vehicles, 3 different bases (the most hidden only me, SWAG and T_RAWWW know) and all the kind of weapons and items you would want to have (termal snipers, DMRs, silenced M4's and a lot of new stuff)!

Vehicles and tents are tied specifically to the server and not the player because you can't technically "own" a car or tent. Doing that would be too much of an advantage to the players. That's why several other players are able to hop into your vehicle and drive away, or take a peek into your tent and steal you stuff. You just have to hope that the next time you log in, you trusty tent will still be up and not be crushed by your UAZ, which also mysteriously disappeared. The game depends on unfortunate events, and vehicles and tents are a luxury, to have, but also a risk to have. I might be nice enough to put something in a tent I happen to find, maybe a weapon that I really don't need.

So this evening I logged into DayZ - AU 117 and came into the northwest airfield with 2 buddies. We noticed a whole clan of players with a ATV and the big troop carrier truck. They were looting the Firehall, Control Tower, and the bunkers on the south end. We thought there seemed to be three in the firehall with snipers anf ghillies ect. One clearly was a bandit, so we figured we would range them and I would take them out with my M107 and we would wouldnt end up getting killed, plus we could really use the truck. Then we notice 3 more and figured we better start shooting before they saw us. So all in all over about 15 min I killed 8 of 9 people that were there in there group. Several of them had combat logged while hiding in the bunkers and one in the firehall trying to despawn the zombies attacking them. The Player driving the ATV and the truck Continued driving around the airfield trying to locate us by identifying our firing position. After killing 7 of the 9 players, one of them was still there and constanly logging in and out while hiding behind the firehall and bunkers to try and find us while the other drove the truck up and down the airfield. The last on hiding behind the bunkers had wounded one of my buddies pretty bad who was sneaking up on the bunkers to grenade the truck so he was pinned down by the control tower with a broken leg. After the truck driver had figured we left because we were not shooting at him anfd they still hadn't seen the other 2 of us he got out of the truck on the airfield to take gear of of one of his dead buddies. I shot him right away and killed him with a second shot while he was trying to hide under the truck. Within 60 seconds after I killed the 8th player named SUPPERNIGGER me and my 2 buddies were pemanantly banned from the server with the reason beside (Because I Can). Basically we pissed of the admin and his buddies by murking them all in the nortwaest airfield so they decided that we should get permanantly banned, because they couldn't legitimatly kill us, find us or get away by combat logging without loosing vehicles and gear. This is clearly admin power abuse and is just as big a problem with this game as hacking. Admins like this can only help in destroying a game player base. I know if this kind of crap is still going on in the standalone I'll be done with it in a couple weeks. I don't know exactly what the rules are like around here for this kind of stuff but people doing this kind of thing should be getting pemanantly banned just as hackers.

Less high tech military loots and more civilian type weapons IE: Lee Enfield, Mosin Nagant, double barrel shotgun, over under shotgun (one barrel for bullet, one for shot), AK type weapons (eastern bloc), some sort of .22 rifle and .22 pistol (silent, light, plenty of ammo, can still kill you, perfect sneaky assassin/light packing survivor weapon), Ability to trick your ride out (add corrigated steal panneling, spraypaint it different colours to match with environment, ability to shoot out of vehicles/mount an mg as a turret), BATTLEBUS!!!! (or battle ural), ability to add 7.62mm cans to the guns on the heli so you wont run out of ammo and not be able to reload in any way, hunting knife as weapon, stealthkills (cut throat, choke, smother), molotov cocktails, building bases, splints. -

Sorry, I find it hard to imagine a navy convoy with helicopter gunship escort being completely penetrated and owned by pirates in small skiffs. One of the navies primary jobs right now is fighting piracy off the coast of somalia among other places. I do however, think that all the destroyed military vehicles need to be explained a bit more and that a story that involves some sort of conflict where maybe this virus was released as a form of biological terrorism would be plausible. It would explain the massive military presence that is all over chernarus. -

Penny Sue you have a good handle on the motivations of the different PVP players - Those who like to grief, those who like the challenge of fighting a real thinking player and not some mindless ai, and those who see the tactical benefit of letting someone else go grab the loot, then killing them and taking it. Shadow Man - servers and bandwidth can only handle so many variables, so there will be a limit on the number of zombies that can be in the game at any one time. While your suggestion might encourage grouping, It could discourage people from playing the game at all, if they repeadetly get killed by mass mobs of zombies before they even have a chance to find an axe. Maybe make the better loot spots overun, or with tougher zombies. The game industry has more or less turned alot of players into online homicidal maniacs. Not in the real world, but in their "gaming" personas. For years, just about every game has been all about shooting everything in sight. Then with online games it became deathmatch, or team deathmatch. So what alot, if not most people, get excitment out of and expect to find in a video game is to go and kill people or NPCs. If they've played alot of PVP games, they expect to kill other players. Incentives (giving stuff) to not PVP won't work on people who like PVP. They'll do without the stuff for the joy of PVPing. They'd proudly wear a bandit skin. Disincentives (taking stuff) from those who PVP will only drive them to different games. Given the number of people complainging about it on here is usually a handful a day, and the number of people out there playing and enjoying this game as it is tends to be in the tens of thousands each day, and Rocket's steadfast commitment to not removing PVP, I think gamers who like PVP the way it is now have little to worry about. I think the game just needs better grouping mechanisms in game, so that people that want to group up can find each other. Really though, if people wanted to put a little effort into it, they could start clans, use third party tools like teamspeak and what not to communicate and find each other in game, group up, build camps, rebuild and retrieve vehicles, hunt for food and stockpile arms, so that when they do get killed, one of their pals can pick them up off the beach in a vehicle and get them outfitted with some good weapons right away. If you check out the YouTube videos, lots of players are grouping up. I think we are used to two kinds of games - PVP games, where the object is to overtake the other player or other team, or PVE where the quests and objectives are laid out for us. In this sandbox environment, you have to lay out the quests yourselves if you want them. The stuff I listed above, like rebuilding vehicles could be considered quests. Recruiting new spawned, players and finding out weather or not you can trust them could be considered quests. Building up your own camp and group to go raid someone else's could be considered a quest. I hope the game stays completely sandbox. There are so few games that are sandbox like this one. -

Hey friend, fellow admin from another server here. Got some info for you: Assuming your resetting time using your servers system clock, stop it right now. This messes with logs and various things in your database can go wonky if you mess with that time/day too much. Manage your daytime by forcing it via mission.pbo or server.pbo modifications. Especially if your running Bliss this shouldn't be very difficult and wont break anything. Manually changing the system time can cause a lot of problems. The least of which is making logs harder to read. Lots of issues can occur in the database and relevant cleanup scripts and so on. Do it with pbo edits instead and it wont cause problems. Don't rock 150+ vehicles or 300+ vehicles or whichever it is. I know it sounds fun but the issue is that if there are a lot of vehicles active on the server at the same time you will get serverwide desync problems. I can't understate this enough. It is no fun at all when every player on the server has red bars for 30 seconds, then 5 seconds of ok gameplay, then yellow/red bars on every player again. Better server hardware wont make any difference with this problem, its related to the server software. The best alternative is to have like 500+ possible spawn points with a global vehicle cap of 100 or less. Give the spawn points lower odds so vehicles spawn in a staggered somewhat random fashion every restart across all spawns. This will also increase playability for your players (because they will be finding new spawn points for a long time). Enabling crosshairs also enables the scroll wheel-rangefinder and it also enables mouse-over-player nametag display. This is a veteran server, just my recommendation that you disable them and tell people to aim down their gun sights (right click). Don't advertise 99% hacker free (we whitelist at BMRF and we can't even claim that). Just advertise that you have a lot of active admins policing the server. Warn people about walking into debug land. As long as you got Gotcha Anticheat, if a player walks off the map they will be teleported up into the air and die as a result. (more of a suggestion here) get a website or forums online. There are many different kinds of forum software out there you can use that are completely free. You can't get globally banned for actions on a private hive server. You are globally banned for something you did somewhere else or you downloaded something which stole your cdkey and a hacker got you globally banned - you don't have to try and download hacks to get your cd-key stolen either it could've been any number of things. Some installers for Lingor island stole cd keys at one point. -

1. Private Hives are the go-to servers at this point in time. Find a good one in your region that has active admins and perhaps a good anti-cheat system. Private Hive owners are also allowed to customise their servers however they like [more vehicles, etc]. 2. Bandit skins are given to you when you kill a player that does not have a bandit skin on them [so, it would be classified as a 'murder']. A hero skin is given to you once you have reached 5000 humanity [humanity is gained by bandaging other players, blood transfusing them, etc. Although as of the latest update you can no longer see your humanity, so I suppose you just have to keep transfusing until you are transformed into a Hero. 3. Dogs are not in the game as of yet. The lastest update is 1.7.3. This update has brought us a anti-ALT+F4 system. If you fire a weapon, throw something [flare, grenade, can, etc], a 30 second timer will appear in the top right corner of your screen. You cannot ALT F4 nor can you abort whilst the time remains. Shooting/throwing again will reset your timer to 30. Also, if a bullet is fired or something is thrown by a player near you, or a bullet hits you/hits near you, the timer will be activated. That is one of the major updates implemented in 1.7.3. To see everything changed/fixed, go here: http://dayzmod.com/f...rolling-update/ There are also many new maps that can be downloaded and played, such as Namalsk, two islands linked only by a bridge. It is the only map to contain snowy areas and underground places. Weapons, ammo and equipment are easy to find, but food is scarce. If I have made a mistake, I would appreciate a correction.
