Great server... all the vehicles and custom towns are nice!

Support ticket raised for the destroyed vehicles not cleaning up correctly bug.

Easiest way to add vehicles to bliss as far as I know is to access your database, go to the "world_vehicle" table, and add a full entry in with a world position you've recovered from yourself by logging in to the desired position, then logging out, copying the POS from your character and placing it in the world_vehicle table entries. The vehicles table is a list of all vehicles that bliss can use, with corresponding number to enter into the world_vehicle table. You can add vehicles (I have) to vehicles table, and not all the vehicles listed on there work on chernarus. Some actually cause major problems calling in (such as the lada4's and 5's). In the following days, I'm just going to release my current database build along with the custom time setup and other functions. What I've done is added 200-300 vehicles in well-placed spots, and added around 100-150 well placed buildings, bodies, and fire barrels/broken crates/doodads. You don't need to spawn all the vehicles, obviously. I've added the new unbanned planes and helicopters too. The custom time function allows you to set "day" and "night" times according to whatever you prefer. It DOES require a server restart but I usually use it while refreshing the server anyways. For example, you can set it (like mine is currently) to run 20 hours of daytime (12:01AM-7:59PM), then I restart the server like I do every 4 hours, and upon restart my server is becoming dark, then full-night by midnight. At 11:59, the server warns users day is coming and restarts (as per 4 hour reboot) . When the server restarts, the time will now be daytime. Other fixes/features that can be DIRECTLY added to vanilla dayz include making loot and zombies spawn while users are inside vehicles. With this build, you'll also need to set up BEC and firedaemon to make this all work. My build will also include a PHPBB forum whitelisting system (GUID based). If the guy that made BEC wasn't such a crybaby he'd allow me to bundle it with the future release, instead he whined about me not giving him credit and now you guys will have to take extra steps and download it from a completely separate link :/ How hard is it to code a credits window/line?

If you ever want to see a vehicle you have to join a server that just opened, after a few days all of the vehicles have been stashed. As for the military weapons, just loot cycle a couple of tents in stary sobor, you'll have some luck.

I want to be able to eat in the vehicles again. My kids eat in my cars. I want to be able to fire weapons from vehicles, drive by style.

So I start a new guy on a high population server and anyone who has played on 30 - 40+ Pop servers knows that getting off the shore line is like walking across the beaches on D-Day. I manage to get north, get a gun or two from some huts and make it ALL the way up to Green Mountain without becoming Bandit Fodder! I am belly down crawling around the Giant tower as I hear Flys, there is a Helicopter sat with a bandit not even looking at me so I line up my shot thinking this couldnt have been a better day and how much fun im going to have looking through the goodies this guy has stored up whilst bombing around in a working chopper... and then... me and everyone else on the server free fall from 3,000 feet to our death!! Unlucky... maybe! So pissed off I move on to another server, Nice crowd, some clans battling it out but not too serious. I start on the other side of the map this time and I manage to make it up to the Factory above Dolina. I scope it from a distance and there are 2 UAV's, 2 ATV's and a motorcycle... at this point I thought that the Horse shoe I must have sat on was rewarding me for my helicopter heart ache! I get over there, cut the barbed wire and im in, again, belly down crawling between the vehicles and salivating over the gear and trying to decide which vehicle to take and what gear I want... and then that familier breeze began to blow through my hair as myself and everyone else were AGAIN dropped from the sky into a mushy pile of corpses... Now I love this game... I truly do... its like Rocket reached into my head and pulled out exactly what I have been waiting for in a video game since Battlefield 3.... but whats the point if 1 geeky little twat who downloaded something that they dont even understand, can hit 1 button and destroy everything that you have been working for in the time it takes you to hit the floor! I cant wait for the standalone, I am already addicted however can someone PLEASE point me in the direction of a safe server that has a good population... I dont care if I have to DONATE i just want to play the game, have fights with bandits, eat Beans and be merry and not have to worry about some Dick head in his mums basement dropping me out of a plane with no parachute and destroying 4 hours of collecting shit! Added more land and air vehicles! Server restarted too...moar fresh loot for everyone.

Over 40 vehicles, excluding choppers and pushbikes. Nothing is allowed outside of the map. (i.e. where the grass disappears past the map lines of 000,000)

My mates and I were recently playing on a Namalsk sever this morning and were having a good old time until a certain player joined the game. His IGN was Pastrydude69. My friend witnessed him and his crew ( Austnen, Exileez, SneakySnake, xCEx Colonel, Lacerate, [LORD] Lounacy, & [CSA]Stonewall Jackson ) spawn in the usual medical crate with all different types of backpacks around it, and then they preceeded to spawn in a couple of KA-60 helicopters. After being ambushed out of nowhere ( likely teleporting as well ) observing them spawn stuff in was the icing on the script kiddie cake. In conclusion to the whole shenanigan, they also controlled our characters, and after telling them how pathetic they were, I was told "you need fresh air" in side channel chat and they booted me offline for nearly a minute. My mate managed to FRAPS Pastrydude69 as he sat in his invincible (I put 10 rounds of NATO into it) KA-60 and ate Gauss Rifle rounds to the face as well as more NATO rounds as well. These script kiddies dominated the server with their cheap scripts, and managed to flush everyone out but them and us. Hopefully something can be done about them, I'm not even sure if the whole server isn't one big script fest. Panda, how many vehicles on server (exclude copters). Are cars not allowed to be placed outside of map? PS. Absolutely great server btw! So chalenged to play on it, I found myself killed twice today, it's terrible. :) Thanks Panda.

Most important of all: they should never explode unless hit with an RPG. It's a silly and dated mechanic (GTA lol !). If a car is wrecked it's wrecked, you can't repair it anymore, but it doesn't make any sense that it explodes. And all the stuff in it shouldn't just be destroyed, some of it might... make it random or something. Think real car crashes :/ Also, fix the collisions with crap on the roads: "Hey look I bumped into a wheel on the ground and all my tires, my engine and my fuel tank are red" or "What did I just crash into ? Oh, invisible hitboxes". Bicycles too, make it so that they don't go RED when you hit a bush at 5km/h. Vehicles are suffering from major glitch issues that only work against the player. That was balanced by the auto fix (one huge bug in favor, lots of bugs against), but now that it's gone vehicles are usually more hard work than they are worth.

How do i force spawn vehicles if dayz tools is not doing it? and ETA oin update.. you guys realize when you go silent it DOESN'T HELP A FUCKING THING.

Well, folks, I was not able to resolve the issue. Everything was working fine with the new update until that hive issue occurred. I did everything I could, but it just wouldn't connect. I'm pretty sure that the issue was not on my end, since nothing was changed--it was working just fine. Also, now that I have switched over to a private hive, everything works fine. Sorry for your loss of gear, tents, and vehicles. My group lost a lot of stuff, too, so I know how frustrating it feels. At least with the private server, I won't have to deal with these kind of hive issues. The new private server is running Pwnoz0r's DayZ Private Server Pack (1.7.4.4 / beta 99153). Hello, I just feel like sharing this with you guys. (I haven't played this Private Hive for a while so I will link all of the information at the bottom of the page). I just spawned in at Elektrozavodsk with a Bandit skin. Straight away I decided to go looting and get the basic gear to head up north and find some good loot and vehicles. Knowing that I had the Bandit skin I was afraid that most people would kill me, but I decided to go straight in to Elektro. After looting the border of Elektro I spot a player with a Winchester heading to the orange brick building. He didn't spot me so I decided to run away up in the hills and scout the City before entering inside. On my way entering inside the city, I hear in the distance gunshots. A couple of seconds later it says "Player has died by: Player AK_47". Aware of the dangerous ahead, I still enter. I find a dead body lieing on the floor at the ladders of the Fire station. I loot his body which had just a M9 and entered the Fire station. On the way entering, I didn't know that there was a player there but I don't know why, he just stared at me whilst walking away, not killing me. I thanked him and moved on to the church. After looting the church, I headed to the Pub finding a Lee Enfield. After looting this worthy find I hear gunshots, Cracking the window and flying past me. I quickly ran to the stairs to cover my position as I see a dead body. I decided to loot it quickly and he had the basic starter gear to head me across to the north. Seconds later, I heard more gunshots and sounds. I looked down the stairs and see a man with an AK_47 spraying me. (After dieing, I was guessing he was the murder that killed most of the people in Elektro). I decided to give it another go and respawn. I spawned at Komaravo which I was annoyed but decided to go looting anyways. In this big indiustrial building I opened it too see a S103 Van. I was happy, but at the top of the railing stands a player with an AKM staring at me. I quickly got in the Van and pummeled out of the Industrial place but he managed to shoot me in the face, whilst the Van ramming into him and blowing him up with me. So I own my own server and its been awhile since I been on it I updated it and every vehicle I go to I can't repair it... Is this dayz dropping the ball with a patch or is it something new they added? This is on Chernarus by the way...

I would def get it out of the airfield. That is one of the most popular places to go. It will get jacked. You could try stashing it somewhere far from a town and out of a common traveling path. Unfortunately my tents and vehicles never stay put for me. Always a one time use.

best thing to do before you log out is make sure you have your most valued possessions on yourself, then when you log back in at least you have those! tents can get raided and vehicles stolen.

Hey, I'm interested. Uk player here, definately over 18 and I've been scouting around for a regular server and a few good peeps to group with. Does your server have lots of vehicles? What sorts of traffic do you see etc?

I use the map more for specific locations and references (caches, vehicles, wounded buddies etc.), so even if you know where you are, it's still handy. The GPS is unnecessary, and it's overpowered enough as it is. I would be more in favour of improvements to the map system than beefing up GPS. Unless it's made exceptionally rare, I would prefer to see it removed.

game play hasnt changed on this server, the game is still the same, they just added some buildings to towns that previously had no use, added some army tents, medical tents, and a few other things to castles etc. and plenty of vehicles for everyone. even seen a few different types of helicopters flying around and a plane . i think its a great server myself, but no server is going to be perfect for everyone. this one is deffinitely worth checking out though!
