Desync is and always will be due to either database load or localized server load, it has absolutely nothing to do with the database location. An extra 50-60ms added to the already-scarce database queries will not cause desync. We are not maintaining 400 different pbo combinations, frankly that suggestion is inane and uninformed. Not to mention each has to be built with the correct instance ID anyway. And no the code for heli crashes does not require the changing of one letter, you can change one letter in the compiled pbo and the crashes will spawn but like I said they will use the wrong loot table, and the UH60 crashes will not spawn at all (which means DayZ+ is not 'fully working'). Changing 'one letter' in the pre-compiled files will completely break the bliss merger, and until I have more time to figure out why the only solutions are to either remove dayz+ completely or leave heli crashes non-spawning until the issue is resolved, I chose the latter. Had I known that DayZ+ had different helicopter crashes beforehand I would have made sure this was fixed before it was released, but there is a new map/mod every week and we can only spend so much time testing them, I made sure the zombies worked correctly and the building of structures worked correctly and then I made the release, nowhere in the documentation (if you can even call it that) did it mention that there were different helicopter crashes or I would have checked into it. Obviously you haven't actually used this package, because it does not work, especially not on every map. Wrong. Our base DayZ+ database uses all of the spawns and vehicles from this SQL: https://github.com/Stapo/DayZ-Private-Server-Lite-Plus/blob/master/DayZUtilities/Resources/Database%20Schema/hivemind.sql - formatted for bliss. There are 42 vehicles and 100 spawns, exactly as they should be. The object_spawns table is not utilized by anything in our system and never has been. Considering that it's basically a negative review of how we handle things, which has quite a bit of incorrect information in it I feel it necessary to defend ourselves so people don't get the wrong idea. I also think it's ludicrous to blame us for bugs in the bliss software, it's like blaming a minecraft host for bugs in bukkit or a CSS host for bugs in srcds. I can tell you that there isn't a single hosting company out there that has working bliss messages by default, nor a fully working DayZ+ by default (with the possible exception of vert, who had support from the developer when making their bliss port - we did not). And we do not even advertise having the messages feature because it is broken. In fact we don't even advertise the buildings feature, even though it works pretty reliably. Criticizing us for something not working when we never said it was is idiotic.

I'm not blaming anyone, and didn't ever about some crap in Bliss Code. Since you're compiling the Bliss packages for every instance separately keep in mind that stuff goes wrong - period. I was/I'am fully capable of modifing it myself. And hell, since you put up the ability to upload custom *.pbo's I was the first in line. But the story: "It's not our fault - we don't write the code" is utter BS. But I'll be back to this in a sec. I've asked about the constant desync about 10 times via mail or IRC. Everytime I've got a different excuses for it. DB issues, DB location, ARMA code, DDos/Dos, more than 40 players on the server etc. I've played a lot of servers lately just to test if there were such issues. Guess what?! None of them had such problems. As I previously stated your problem is that you're still trying to build Bliss OTF for every user instance. I'm not the one that should tell you that's horribly wrong, keeping in mind that the combinations are very much limited and it should be no such problem to keep the code static/already compiled (in that case already modified for the sake that your custom build). But's not the case. If you're offering DayZ+ you should offer it fully working! The code for the heli crashes requires one letter to be changed (not mentioning the second type that needs to be fully added). http://www.blissrepo.com/ - January 25, 2013 - that's all I've got to say about this... Ok, so you left a table from the Pwnoz0r's package (which DayZ Lite/Plus uses). Then now go build yourself a DayZ+ instance on your host, spawn the vehicles in the DB, join the game and try to find them. Guess what? There aren't there! Why u ask. Cuz you have 42 vehicles in you're vehicle table which Bliss uses. Still those in the instance_vehicle are shown on the map with no reference to the vehicle/world_vehicle table. All of them are left in your object_spawns table which is useless. [NEW] Vehicle Spawn Table [63 Vehicle Spawn Points] Now where are those spawns, hmm? I guess everyone should add them by themselves? Go tell those kids to do that. Hell, even I'm not such a desperate to fill those manually. To be absolutly clear about this post - I'm not telling you or teaching you how to manage you're hosting. Also I'm not in he position to do so. This also is not an attack on your company.

Yep you can play on all the different DayZ maps any day of the week, you could try a few hours of each all in 1 day if you wanted . A really easy way to install them all is DayZ commander if you havn't already got it. Remember the standalone ( DayZ game) when its finished and released will be on the Chernarus ( just DayZ) map but with extra buildings, areas, Weapons, vehicles and all that good stuff. So it would be a good idea to spend some time getting to know your way around that one -
Chenarus' railways seam to be dieselized (theres what looks like a road engine sitting on the docks in cherno with a boxcar), a steam engine would take TONS of coal (literally, tons, not an overstatement). Probably the 'best' setup if they do add rail vehicles would be a switcher/road engine with a boxcar and caboose (passengers and cargo), would take MUCH longer to fuel up than even a chopper. A RDC (or soviet equivilant, think bus on rails) would be another alternative, as well as handcars and speeders. Even then you still need to worry about things on the right of way, (if theres a RDC on the tracks you've got to move it out of the way and onto a siding)

I just thought, because it's really hard hiding vehicles that are painted blue or red, maybe you could paint your vehicles green so you could hide them in the woods more easy.

OK thx alot. But isn't there a simpler way to add them instead of one by one? The buildings which are considered vehicles in the 3d editor can be imported via a vehicle script for example. EDIT: Nevermind... we found a way. -

XCR1 or XCR3 are both good servers. XCR is dayz chernarus and XCR3 is DayZ+. Both servers have large custom towns. Novy Lug has 6 barracks, Zub Castle has a large skybase with a barracks and and AC Tower, Altar is a town with a hospital, supermarket, church, appartments and military tents. Lots of active admins, 130+ vehicles on both servers, and you get to fight with the XCR clan. -

Although We're happy to say that the server has seen a decent amount of frequently visiting players, we hope for more to come. So if you're into PvP action with high tier loot and lots of fast offroad vehicles and aircraft, you should definitely consider joining this server. -
Hello there, this may be my first post but I decided to make a forum account because I reallly feel like I should,since i met a lot of hackers before and could have reported them but now I had enough and Im gonna start doing it. So I was playing DayzThirsk that came out not too long ago, it was night and I found a Ural in one of the cities from the coast. I was driving around the forest to find a safe place to park it for later and then I saw a white suited guy in the night, I tried communicating with him but he just wouldnt, so i had to shoot him. Fortunately he was bad at aiming or maybe I got lucky but he then communicated with me after death,when suddenly one of his mates I belive told me in side channel that its funny how I am a square in his sights. I pussied out so ... I fucking combat logged :(... then I felt it was not right so I came back, but it took me some time to realize he ment he used a player ESP to know where I am. The person got kicked afterwards for scripting but his mate was still there. The weapon I got killed with was an silenced M4, and after i killed the one that got kicked a sudden notice message thing came up with NoEntryFound M4 CC or something like that, and it feels like he just hacked it back. Anyways after I stated in side that they were hackers, i got some kind of Wizard Monitor debug screen like old dayz which was i bet hacked by them, and afterwards I immediatly logged out of the game to prevent myself from being hacked. This was on the following server: DayZThirsk - (1.3/100296) [REG] [GMT] Private Hive -Bambi Paradise [8 Choppers] [100 vehicles] [Care Packages] [Wrecks] DayZ.ST The person i killed and got kicked for scripting was named: roberto The other person who was not kicked was named : Paul I dont know how much this tread helps, sorry if I did anything wrong and have a nice day.

I took over the reigns of the trickery server from another guy who got snowed under with work so I had to start afresh and create an account with vilayer myself in November. The guy before me had lots of issues with vilayer ACP, I myself had a few issues, mainly when I first started out. Issue 1: Like a noob instead of ordering a vilayer hive server I ordered a DayZ public server. This was swapped fairly swiftly after I raised a ticket (same day) Issue 2: 24th November .. couldn't start server, apparently vilayer were having problems at the time and having Dos attacks.. was dealt with and I was given a week extension to my server issue 3: 3rd December ..vehicles were saving, tents weren't. A vilayer code update fixed it issue 4: 11th December ..ACP was being an arse, server kept shutting down, install was corrupt somewhere and I was pretty miffed as I work long hours and couldn't be there all the time to try uninstalling/.reinstalling/testing and neither could my admin due to Uni work. John Smith (J.B on Teamspeak) reinstalled it and got it all running correctly for me, infact it was his customer service that was the reason I renewed that month after a pretty poor start. issue 5: 13th January ..."migrating servers in Europe onto better hardware"...I thought here we go again and posted a thread on this forum asking about other users experience with vilayer but it has been absolutely fine since that migration and everything works as it should and ACP is much improved imo. it looks like I have had alot of problems but a couple of them were probably down to my noobishness. I don't pester them with tickets and DO NOT put EVERYTHING as high priority and expect a response within a minute. I stay calm and polite when writing a ticket, and it gets dealt with accordingly I can't grumble at the service and at the end of the day the service is pretty damn cheap. It was supposed to be a community funded server, and was while the other guy ran it. I took up the reigns when my community sort of got pissed off with DayZ so apart from one donation which covered half the cost of a month I have been footing the bill myself, which with vilayer is actually affordable. (Don't tell my Mrs though!) -

Best server I've played on, I get fast loading, great ping, hackers are banned daily. Added buildings make for an interesting change, and crash sites / vehicles are balanced pretty good. I've bounced server to server trying to find a gem like this one, and I finally found it. -

I was in Djibuoti (northeast Africa) and the major part of taxi drivers didn't need any key to turn on the motor. The just rub two wires. Seriously, search "djibouty taxi driver" in google or youtube. Djibouti is a very-very poor place. I could imagine that a zombie apocalypse enviroment would be a little-MUCH worse. Also, sometimes i have problems to find my own car key in my house. No keys, no alarms, not in this dayz world. Maybe... it would be nice that you must have a toolbox to use vehicles. -
I'm sorry but the servers i play on tend to have lots of carebears and no action what so ever. The servers where there is action are always plagued by hacks every single day. Sometimes several times per day. And to me it seems most people just want to find vehicles and farm loot spots for the AS50. Then when they find the weapon they are too damn scared to fight with it. EDIT: Mind you, i have done it all... I have been a hero, i have owned a helicopter and all the different kinds of vehicles. I have had full gear (AS50, NVG, Rangefinder, Coyote backpack, GPS, M4's, FAL's and even the L85AWS when it was still in the loot tables) and i have been a 1337 sniper, hung around NWA like most "professionals". At one point i owned 5 vehicles on the same server. The one thing all that had in common was BOREDOM. You spend your entire days just looking for stuff and fixing vehicles. If you run into someone "friendly" you still end up leaving him behind because you don't want a hatchet to the back of your head. And in most cases people are just out to get you any way they can including claiming to be friendly and even acting as such until they decide it's time to take your stuff from you. Nope, it's far more entertaining engaging in a full blown out war in Elektro using nothing but a double barreled shotgun. EDIT #2: Oh, and scaring the living shit out of other players. Especially noobs.

Sup dude, You can check out my squad if you'd like. We are more of a community, guess you could say clan. Only thing is, unlike most clans we are primarily a stand alone preparation squad. We play casually and all have school/jobs/real lives, so we pick times to go on and play. The thing that sets us apart from most clans is the exact fact that we are casual... For example -We pick a day and time to game then we all get on and set up a base, defending and looting areas around it as we build it up. -We don't play 24/7 so if you join it's up to you to find loot. -Seeing how we don't have a main server we always join challenging servers to re loot, hunt bandits, and set up bases. -We understand if you can't game, family, work, friends, and partying comes first. -We don't just play DayZ, normally we jump on skype and game team oriented games like CS:Go , BF3, and much more. I understand you don't want to join a clan, but joining this squad just gives you a cool ingame picture, people to game with, and a tag. You don't get gear, weapons, vehicles, or any other starter items. We have learn't over the past that looting and hunting bandits is allot more entertaining then jumping in a server, having everything handed to you, and hunting newbies. Played on this server quite a bit. Nice to have vehicles that are drivable when they spawn...rather than taking 2 hours to scrounge for a tire. -

This is a great idea. The only problem I see is that most vehicles tend to be stolen when their "owners" are offline, which sort of negates the problem of players being close by and may not actually translate into making stealing cars more risky on average. I think it's certainly a good and immersive idea. Perhaps implement a kind of "hot wire" mechanic where your character must have a specific type of tool. I almost want to suggest a hot wiring mini-game, but I'm not sure how that'd fit into DayZ's philosophy.
