Hi Everyone, What features do you look for when wanting to find a Private Hive Hoster? I have added some features here, but I would like to see what the rest of the community thinks and any extra features that they can think of. Disclaimer: This is not a "my host" is better then "your host" ... this is for research purposes. I am more interested in what features you would like to have as well as what you currently have. Map Features: View Wrecked Vehicles, Vehicles, Players, Deployed Items, Dead Players. Detail Features: View Detailed information on Vehicles, Players, Tents. Player Tracking: Track a player movement on a map to test for teleports and other movement hacks. (Realtime) View Logs. (Realtime) Start/Stop Server. Configure Server (Day/Night, MOTD, etc.). Whitelisting. Public Page for Player Stats viewing, automated. Multi-user support. Separate Instances. Shared Instances. Vehicle Spawn System plus customisation. Kick/Ban/Message without RCON. Before the infectious epidemic that now plagues the world, reanimating the dead, Chernarus was a small, isolated country, with a small industrial economy, pleased to focus on agrarian culture, and the simpler times of life. Chernarus, while it did have a standing military, and a modernized socialistic type of government, wasn't even a blip on the global map until Armex arrived. With the arrival of the Armex corporation, Chernarus was transformed into a more modernized culture, embracing the global corporation with open arms. In return for exclusive operating rights within Chernarus, Armex provided employment, modernized hospitals, and helped to grow the infrastructure of Chernarus, via modern roads, airports, and more. To the citizens of Chernarus, Armex was its saviour, turning the small country with an average citizen per capita of less then $10,000 US, into a small, but thriving country, focusing on the export of Armex products, to include technology, pharmaceuticals, and government hardware. Life was good. Sadly, the good life was not there to stay. Four years after Armex's arrival, localized reports of the living dead started to pop up in the Northern parts of Chernarus. While none of the reports were ever substantiated by local authorities, reports of heightened government security forces started to grow, with Chernarus troops fortifying Stary Sobor. Several months after this, more Chernarus forces started setting up FOBs in Chernogorsk, and Elektrozavodsk. While the government ensured citizens that it was just a precautionary expansion, to protect Chernarus and its interests, disappearances of key scientific staff at one of Armex's research facilities in the mountains due to an “isolated” incident were reported. Within months of these disappearances, a UN task force was sent to Chernarus to investigate. The UN base of operations was set up on a hill overlooking Chernogorsk, and maintained peaceful, survelliance and intelligence operations only. The peace was broken six months later, when a UN Drone was shot down by unidentified forces in the vicinity of Gvozdno. Shortly after this incident, USMC forces, under UN Task Force Knight, started setting up FOBs in Elektrozavodsk, and west of Kamenka. Chaos ensued, as Chernarus government forces, and Armex PMCs clashed with UN forces, claiming that the UN police forces were attempting to sieze Chernarus and its interests. A lightning raid by USMC Force Recon operators, seizing control of the Krasnostav Airport, was the beginning of what surviving Chernarus citizens call, The Apokalipsis. Shortly before Force Recon operators siezed the Krasnostav Airport, forty Armex transports were prepped for immediate departure. While the exact details of Armex's involvement remain a mystery, widely due to the large scale, global epidemic that followed, scattered reports indicate that UN forces had been sent to Chernarus to prevent a large scale, biological weapon from being transported. While UN naval blockades outside of Chernarus had effectively cut off port activities of Elektrozavodsk and Chernogorsk, Armex had supposedly started flying out this new weapon, via stealth transports, operating out of Krasnostav. While USMC and UN forces had reportedly shot down ten of these transports, the other thirty could not be accounted for. Nevertheless shortly after this incident, widespread outbreaks of an infectious virus, causing zombie like effects were reported globally. Within a month of The Apokalipsis, Chernarus was reduced to a country on fire. UN forces continued to clash with Chernarus forces, as a massive attempt to contain, and evacuate uninfected citizens from the Chernarus mainland was initiated by the UN. After twelve evacuation transports were destroyed, while leaving various port cities around Chernarus, from apparent sabotage, the surviving UN forces withdrew, and were relocated to countries around the world, as the epidemic spread. Despite the massive withdrawal by UN and USMC forces, two groups assigned to the UN Task Force Knight were unaccounted for, and reported MIA by the UN. The missing groups in question were the SSAD, and Deaths Horizon. Both groups were last seen attempting to evacuate non-infected citizens, and are assumed still on Chernarus. The activities of both SSAD and DH are unknown, but scattered reports of both organizations offering support to survivors are still being transmitted to what remains of the UN from various FOBs, using their last known IFF. Chernarus has been lost, and if your still alive...May God be with you. Knuuuuht, i assure you that admins did not destroy anything in your base. We have only 2 admins that have even played on the server which includes Twelfthsense and Col.O'Neil If you would like I can restore your tents/vehicles and also verify that an admin did not do this. We at JACKPOT take admin abuse very seriously and would like to assure you that this type of behavior will NOT be tolerated. We enjoyed hosting the TNC clan and can understand this could sour your feelings. We would like you to know that everything that can be done is being done to help alleviate this issue. On another note: The radios are being added in and will be functional. If you right click and listen it will play an admin made emergency broadcast system which will give away the coordinates of certain high level vehicles (Helicopters and such) as well as admin made bases. These radios however will be rarer than the m107. -
Hades DayZ Server 1.7.6.1 Custom areas added

Hello there. Im Klonoalunar and i am setting up my own dayZ private hive. Initially the hive will be hsoted by yours faithfully as i move onto a pay host. This server includes custom locations. So far i have only added a Heli field with one barrack and firestation, aswell as a random blank area with some wrecks in it just to add to the scene.. At the moment we have around 65 vehicles and hope to grow this as we continue on. At first the server will not be white-listed however depending on the popularity and the hacking we may end up White-listing it. We are going to be adding new towns and making the cities like actually cities with bigger buildings. We are also planning on making some sort of camp creation system. You collect resources like wood and scrap and stuff. Meat as leather, etc. And we will put up a building in an spot of your choice so you could make a small forest camp. We are currently hosting 30 slots and the dayz commander link seems to like our server grayed out. However it is joinable. You clearly have not been hosting game servers long enough to understand how pretty much all of them work dayz also being one. Higher clock speed = higher fps/ticks I guarantee that a dayz server with 100 vehicles and 50 players that has been running for 2 hours will lag like nobody's business on an E5, And showing your tcadmin cpu usage and resources clearly show that you do not understand how to host servers. The overall usage means diddly squat. I will not argue with a teenager about game servers who's first argument for E5's is "but mom look at my cpu usage it is not 100% so its good" -
If someone asks you to go to Cherno, don't go to cherno :P Trust is a huge thing in DayZ. Always mention you are friendly, and even after that, when you bump into other players, aim at them, tell them to drop their weapons, and make sure they are friendly. Or vice versa. It could save your skin. Whenever you see a chopper or hear gunshots, hit the ground and scan your surroundings for a while. Last thing you want is to be spotted by a ghillie sniper (camo guys that are very hard to spot) or get destroyed by a chopper gunner. Also, whenever you hear flies, it usually means someone has died near you, as with the shots, also go prone for a bit or crouch to make sure whoever killed that person is long gone. Ammo is important. Don't waste shots. And if you can, don't shoot too often unless it's 100% necessary. Other players and zombies can hear the shots and go towards your direction. Food consumption. Don't eat or drink until your meters are below 1/4 or flashing. It's more efficient and to no ill effect. Use them at the last minute and you save time and food. Vehicles. as with guns, they make a lot of noise and you are visible from quite a long distance. If you have one, take the backroads and avoid the main highways. At night: Flashlights, flares and glowsticks. These make you extremely visible at night, so unless it's pitch black, try to navigate by turning on and off your flashlight, or if you're lucky, get a nightvision set. When it's full moon, I wouldn't really bother using a flashlight as much. Simply heighten your brightness and gamma to see better. That's pretty much it. Enjoy the game! :)

I suggested the Car battery before, but I also mentioned car headlights, but great idea anyways and it would add more realism ofcourse, because, as you said, cars wouldn't magically dissapear, maybe there should be about 300 vehicles around the map, because there must be people who managed to drive away.

Fair amount of heli-spawns, lots of vehicles, AI soldiers at the airfields which add for good loot and action, nice starting loot including food, drink, and a pistol...And best of all me and my friends who are consistent visitors! Oh and I haven't run into issues that plague many other servers like tents not saving, random resets, etc. -

NO WHITELIST! Our server is basically 1-2 days old! , Meaning most of the vehicles in the map, are at the original positions! We are working on a website which will be giving a re-ward system in it. 25 hours active = Car 60 hours active = Heli These are just some suggestions, We will have more idea soon! Script Restriction #117 and #118 are now fixed. This error was caused by clicking reload weapon in certain helicopters. You no longer need to worry about getting kicked for that. Create Vehicle Restriction #17 is now fixed. This was caused by attempting to fire Air to Ground missiles otherwise known as AGM's on the A-10 and other vehicles equiped with agm's as well. This was also caused by firing the missiles while in the gunner of the Mi-24 Hind. Fixed script restriction #85 caused by firing the guns on the Vodnik, as well as script restriction #21 which was caused by pressing R or switching fire modes on the vodnik. -

Hello everyone! As the title says, I'm trying to form a clan, I have some info for you, some requirements and a few questions. I would appreciate if you read it all through and answered the questions, thank you! :) Well, the reason I'm trying to form this clan, is because I think dayz is a lot more fun when you're playing with other people. I like to do PVP and just go around the map scavenging, building a camp and getting vehicles, or even just do some good old trolling with someone :) I'm looking for players who wants to play mainly Chernarus, and people who are up for PVP on servers with around 10-20 players online. (I think that's a good balance between PVP and PVE, 40-50 people are in my opinion extreme). I would appreciate if you would answer the questions bellow :) there are only a few requirements, but if you can't fulfill it all, please just tell which one(s) you can't fulfill in a comment :) Requirements: Have a good mic, so we all can leave a conversation with our hearing be respectful be mature need people who knows something about the game (not saying that you have to be Frankie 2.0) have skype Questions: (just copy and paste the questions in your comment) How old are you? I think they are kinda leaving the minecraft model and are going to present a much more polished game and thus take a lot more time to finish it. and i think the aspiration is pretty high.... they always plan to do so much in the future but even the basic platform takes forever. DayZ SA does have to be quite a success to offer all this additional content for free instead of a lot of dlc. and dlc is definetely not the minecraft model. so im a bit sceptical.. like no vehicles until approximately fall. vehicles are a lot of fun thats missing then. and i dont trust rockets estimates about release dates anymore. -

You shouldn't keep your vehicles with your tents, because the vehicles are more likely to be found. And as soon as somebody finds your vehicle he's going to search the surrounding area for tents.

i think that loot and vehicles and fuel tanks and such, Should all spawn at once in good-perfect condition. before you start, think the more players use the stuff, the more it becomes damaged the more it becomes damaged/empty, the less use it would be the less use it would be would force you to find alternetives/new sources of food-gas thoughts, Opinions??

Try this. When you spawn drop all your gear on the beach. As for vehicles - you could say it is more realistic to have loads of vehicles. I do think that fuel needs to be rarer though. -
There are servers out there with no starting anything, and no +1000 vehicles, you just have to look.

You clearly are playing on bad servers. Day Z is fine, the servers you're playing on are the problem. Join a server that doesn't have 500+ vehicles and full starter gear. Problem solved. -
Made this post on reddit about this type of server and alot of support was voiced through the discussion so my gaming community: WarMachine Gaming have a launched a new server to accommodate this area of dayz servers that seemed to have vanished with the massive vehicle servers and non stop side chat spam. Side chat is disabled 3rd person is disabled Cross hairs disabled Wrecks disabled Care Packages disabled Default starting loadout Heli crashes spawn at server start and loot matches patch 1.7.6.1 loot drops Vehicles are at the global hive default numbers and spawn locations Day Night Cycle

Try sliding down a ladder,must be safe, it's an option. Nope, broke legs. No morphine, had to climb up ladder and jump off a few times to die. Upgrade ax to 1911, run into building with two exits while kiting a dozen z's. Accidentally enter room with single exit. Empty 1911 in panic move, click click click broke legs, unconscious, die. Server restarted, body gone. Plain ole ax would have meant survival. Be in vehicle during server start/reconnect. Appear standing in exact spot as vehicle but not in it. Any movement causes you to get run over and die. "Autopilot", e.g. using a paper clip to hold down W while trekking to some destination. Get distracted, for hours. Log back in and you are deep in the ocean with no land in sight. Try swimming back to shore for 3 hours, disconnecting just before dehydration kills you (logging in fills blood, no idea why), gave up. Hackers used to be a problem. Teleported up in the air so you fall and die. Teleported to north airfield for dance of death. Ejected and killed from moving vehicle for no apparent reason. Still love the game, currently on unpopular Thirsk server, repairing attack heli, have 3 vehicles, FAL /w night vision, g36, missing night vision/ghillie/tent(s).
