hello fellow DayZ players. i have suggested that deayz should add the concepts of survivor made buildings. survivor made vehicles and much more. more information on the website http://www.dayzorigins.com/ this must be added. i would think this would be a sweet and awesome concept in the game

If the stand alone is a big hit, like I think it will be, I bet Rocket and everyone will want to create another DayZ. I think it would be cool to have a Western (Cowboy) DayZ. ***I know if would be a LONG time before anything like this could happen, but it's fun to think about.*** It would be a nice change of pace from the modern DayZ. I think the way that the game plays, a Western style would fit right in. Bandits would be the all black cowboys with the bandana, or the classic guys with the white bags on their heads. Heroes could be Deputies or Sheriff looking guys. Players could find horses (which would have permanent names so you would know if the horse was yours if someone stole it). Maybe even make it so you have to catch the horse if it's not yours to begin with. The other "vehicles" could be wagons or stagecoaches which you could store goodies in. But if you find a stagecoach or wagon, you would need to have multiple horses to pull it. If you have any other ideas share. Might as well discuss, who knows, maybe something like this could actually happen down the road.

On public (official) servers the vehicle stays on the server only. What is on your body will transfer between other official (public) servers. Your position is the same on all public servers. Private servers can be modified in an infinite number of ways, including changing loot vehicles etc. What you find in private servers will only be on that private server. Most of the time public servers will have the default server name, and will have something like US2034 in the name ..... though some private servers look exactly the same as public servers in the name. It takes a lot of trial and error to find a server you like. Try both private and public servers, its all about the community in the long run......

From what I can see official servers save your items cross servers? Is this the same for vehicles? What about your position on the world? Private hive servers are just servers that have different items, rules, etc. How can you tell if a server you are on is a hive server?

Since 102678 beta patch of Arma OA you can spawn a tank ---- WITHOUT RMOD Battleye still blocks the firing of the main gun, #85 sounds about right (I've modified mine so much that its like 89 on mine rofl). Just open your scripts.txt and change 85 from 5 to 1, then firing the main gun won't result in a kick. If you do not have the option to spawn through the database, add a new vehicle in the vehicle data base with class_name "m1a1" List of vehicles unbanned (though they may be unworking, testing is required.... BE has many restricted) vehicles via the beta patch 102678: http://opendayz.net/...hout-rmod.8277/ I've tested a few and got them working, some with BE modification. Actually looking at adding a single uh1y (huey with mini guns and rockets) into a heavily (think mission impossible) defended NPC base as a prize.

Burgess Server is a relatively new server (just a few weeks old) that was made because we were sick of server admins kicking and banning players that kill them as well as doing other ridiculous things with their powers. As the title says 3minutes of Heli battels all over Chernarus. We took down about 10 Hueys in about 40min. after the server restartet. The server has a "bit ridiculous" amounts of helis and vehicles you can find it if you type in "600+ vehicles 30+" and you will find it, most of the time all 50 slots are taken and it pretty much only is a pvp server with 20-30 guns at chopper crashes the server is fast and you will get high fps if you pc can take it.

Have had some activity going on and off the past 24hours, Looks like it could go somewhere if people would stay around! Suggestions of things to update please comment below and i will have a look. No major updates (More: Helicopter crashes.) Few more Vehicles spawns aswell! (Also making sure there aren't too many vehicles! The server is as anyone wants it, can consider making it a all day cycle if thats what people are looking for aswell.

Hey! I just started up a new server which is a European server! And hopefully it'll turn into something great. I guess im here to kind of "lick ass" to a lot of (DayZ) players to come and hop on my server and see how it is. Nothing is custom apart from abit more crash sites. The server has day and night cycle on it (GMT-1) so it wont turn night too early! also looking for players so (us) admins can adjust to (you) meaning you giving tips on how to improve my server. Im open to suggestions aswell. I'm not entirely sure how many vehicles but +Vehicles and Helicopters are added on there for sure!. The server is in UK so most of the Europeans has pretty decent ping!. I guess i could also say that this server is not noob friendly server but at the same time it is. The admins are experienced players, no rookies so to speak when it comes to gameplay! We do on the other hand take things serious when it comes to gameplay. We play legit like everyone else. The admins are Sergeant Grayson and Robim and we are from Sweden! would perhaps be good to mention that it is a private hive! active admins checking up daily which only includes less acivity of hackers! ok hi The red gun icon that flashes is to indicate that you are in combat and meant to stop you from combat logging, don't bother carrying toilet paper and razors they have no use yet, last i heard tents were broken, so i am not sure about it, storage vehicles are semi reliable because there is always the risk of the server not putting them back in, i think that is normal heat now it is when it get in to the blue you want to worry, yes the thermal scoped weapons are completely removed from DayZ i think, you have to now boil water in a tin can before drinking it or you can get the infection, anti-biotics now have a higher chance of spawning, the little bird choppa can now hold 8 people, ok this should be all, outlaw1198

Hi i need some help, i've been away from the game close to a year [my toon is 222 days old] and alot has changed since then. I need some hints regarding the new changes to DayZ if ok. So, the red gun icon flashes red when in combat to prevent Alt+Tab, right? Also, should i carry toilet paper and razor, are those items necessary or mearly cosmetic? Are tents reliable? i mean, completly, because a year ago it was just a useless item If so, is storage in vehicles also reliable? Why is my heat meter defaulted to red? Were thermal scoped weapons completly removed from public servers? Any other changes i should know about? Thx alot!

Hate to say it but unless the zombie outbreak started in Chernarus then there would be no way they would sending military personel there. If it was a world wide issue they would try to lock down major cities and other high value locations. I don't think they would be sending the military to go help out small cities or even to degree certain countries. It would be mass pandemonium and everyone would be trying to help themselves. Why the hell would the any country be sending troops to a considerably small and lacking group of cities in Eastern Europe? There is doesn't seem to be anything in terms of an advantage of holding Chernarus. Sorry I rambled bad...sometimes the booze makes me do what it wants. Basically I don't feel that too many military vehicles and weapons would be present in Chernarus unless they explain through a back story of some sorts that it is where or near where the outbreak started. I mean honestly they don't even have an airport in Chernarus...just a few sets of runways with some hangers the military made? So how important is this place on a scale of an apocalypse?

As i was talkjng to you this morning. your bypass i cannot prove. But every guest in that server at that moment while i was talking to is known to wolf. not all wolf members wear there tags just because of hackers (which is sad to have to do). End of story. Funny thing while i was talking to you, i was laying down at our camp when all 4 of our vehicles blew up nearly killing me) so plead your case. but its not going to change. just like your post in reedit where the admins deleted your 1st post. so please go away.
