  1. well you could put the dificulty to veteran so it can be more reallistic :) if i find a vehicle will it have loot cause when i think of custom vehicles i think of geared vehicles

  3. So, is everyone else having trouble getting back into servers? are the servers implementing Origins 1.7 as we speak? I like the new features with 1.7... being able to salvage materials off vehicles is awesome!   5. @McCullins You cant really compare our server with most servers... Becuase they mostly have way too many servers just over do it by 120 vehicles and even tanks combat choppers etc... 90 vehicles isnt even that many and for the rest we made it interesting to stay at kamenka and other places where was no way no1 would go. So in my opinion it is better then vanilla becuase in vanilla there wasnt any need to go other places then cherno, balota, elektro, berezino... Etc.. And the custom vehicles make it a little different from other servers wich arent like tanks nor a A-10s or anything that wouldnt make any sense in dayz...

  7. No; I'm content with BalotaBuddies. I'm interested in what can be changed on servers to "enhance" the mod. To begin with I wasn't aware that you could have custom vehicles. So when my friends message me saying "Hey, feature X and bug Y annoy me in this game, is there any way to avoid them?" and I happen to know of a server that alleviates such a problem, I can let them know. Regarding your phone display, I suppose that is a fair point, however you should keep in mind that the OP can't exactly account for that. His title certainly makes it apparent that it's not vanilla. It's not his fault you couldn't see it, so you shouldn't really berate him for it, is all.

    Yeah, I don't think bandits make camps in Berezino. They're usually along the sides of the map or black/willow lake. Berezino is there for people who have vehicles or time to travel to get in, get meds food and parts, and get out. They're rarely looking for a fight and just want to mind their own business.

    Honestly, I gotta go on Apple's side here. Whenever someone is having problems with their DayZ server that involves modifications, I assume its not going in the "Let's make DayZ harder direction!" (Which btw, if someone ever integrats and more in the "1000000000+ Vehicles/1 million helis/ Spawn with AS50+Coyote+All tools+NVG+Rangefinders UB3R1337BANDITPVPKILLFEST #YOLOSWAG" direction..... Also, dat signature. It confuses me....
  12. Hello everybody! I am here to represent to you a new DayZ Chernarus server to you guys to come and enjoy the game like you never did before! What we have to make stuff interesting: Custom Load outs (1x Painkiller, 1x Steak, 1x water bottle, 2x bandage, 1x Watch, 1x Compas). Custom buildings (Requests are always welcome). Custom vehicles. Vehicles spawn everywhere. EXTRA: 10x Bicycles, 6x helis, 3x planes, 4x atvs, 2x SUV Random events. Which as example, contains people protecting a specific area of the map without leaving that area. Those people have to stay there until they die with good loot (DMR, Mk 48, etc...)(Not too OP weapons so people have a chance, but still get good loot) The objective of the other people not protecting is to kill those people to be able to win all the loot and a special vehicle. (This will be announced 2-3 hours just before it starts) Survival Server hosted. You can auto refuel your plane/chopper/car at any gas station. Custom Anti-Hax. Every 3 hours restart. And if needed a restart for the performance or an update. We have a full moon night time, so it is still harder to see then normally, but just to be able to see where you run and what you loot. We have a variety of bandits and heros, so not everybody you see will shoot on sight! We have our own teamspeak server!   15. Glad we got you sorted. We don't like it when issues happen but we're happy to fix them when they do. We've added some new features to the control panel and there are a bunch more coming. You now have the ability to 1-click install addon scripts which include: Animated Heli Crashes Auto Vehicle Refuel Base Building Chernarus Power Plants Dynamic Weather Control Remove Parts from vehicles Siphon Fuel R3F Tow/Lift They are currently for Chernarus but will be ported to almost all other maps in the next few days. We also have a bunch more in the works. This addon system is completely modular so you can install 1 script or all of them, it doesn't matter. Your server and mission pbo files are dynamically edited by the panel to included the required code. Along with that any required database modifications are automatically inserted into your existing database. We're also adding a server code backup and restore feature. This will allow you to quickly backup your server code before you make edits. If something breaks after you make edits you can roll back the code. Epoch will also be released in the next day or 2. It's already finished and in the control panel but is going through some final tests. We're also looking at adding a "template" mod that can be used to allow customers to install their own mods or mods that are not in our system. It will provide you with access to the -mod= commandline parameter to specify the mods you want the server to start with.
  16. DayZ+ Team Vs Team Private Hive/Passworded Server! So, basically, my friends and I have been getting quite bored of DayZ, and the solution to that (according to me) was to make two bases on the ArmA: II map editor on chernarus. The two bases are at: -Klen (or khelm, I get the town and mountain mixed up all the time!) -Devil's Castle Of course, since it is DayZ+ (the magnificent mod made by Stapo), we can add on to our bases, and make them better. And for those who did not know, there are no helicopters or any vehicles with weapons on them! So even more of a challenge. And I believe NVG's and AS50's are disabled aswell. Post here if you are interested. I will allow the biggest team (person with the most people with them) to join. My team has about 8-15, so I would love for the other team to be close to those numbers, if not more! (We are picking only one team due to there being only one base, and I would like this to continue being a TvT server! Thanks!) tl;dr: I have a dayz server, it's TvT (team vs team), dayz+, and I made 2 custom bases one at Klen (mountain near NEAF) and one at devil's castle you can play if you want we need people (we will pick the person with the most friends to join, since we only need one other team!)
  17. Hello I have recently been playing on Team BBQ Chernaraus map. Had a great time there due to the sandbox nature of the server.. 650 vehicles most of which formed some kind of car lot at balota a really good place for messing around on. ! particualr admin was really kind and gave me help when needed and even let me go into the old admin base ( a 1km sqaure fortress) to taje some grenades,LSW, MK17SD etc etc oohh very nice .. however today i log on and i am runing along a tree line when i come under fire and am shot. I bandage and heal my broken legs and get eyes on the enemy just 1.. laid down some 300m away. i roll into more cover and eat the rabbit i have and i skirt round to get a better angle.. i see he is still laying there so i threw a grenade and then another staright after.. i see things flying.. gras effects or human bits not sure? hes dead I note his admin tags BBQ Diggz. as i approach his body i come under more fire.. he is not alone.. and I notcie a chopper near by ina clearing.. anyway a fight ensues with me killing this Diggz guy again 5 mins later.. hold on... he just died.. nvm maybe he spawed real close. I try to get to the chopper and I die to sniper fire.. Diggz again.. but I just killed him.. thats 2 times now.. So I ask him if he reads this to explain how he got back so quickly 2 times to finally kill me. TELEPORT MUCH?

  20. I am posting this thread for one simple reason, to warn folks about the abusive admins on ES123 (DayZCraft). ES123 allows users to build custom bases from scratch. In addition to this great feature it also, heavily, populates the server with additional buildings, loot spawns, vehicles and the like. A group of friends and I recently discovered the server and in no time were looting, amassing and building base elements. By our third day playing upon ES123 half our team had been kicked from ES123. This is our tale. Day one included, loot, surviving AI/players/zombies, grouping up, scouting future build locations and ultimately starting the build. Not much to say here other than we had lots of fun. Day two started much the same way, our base was progressing nicely, the team was gearing up to a respectable level and starting to mobilize to nearby locations for raids. While scouting the map we had noticed a unique base which had been built at grid location 162073. I say unique because this base was built within a castle and included a 'warehouse' inside the castle grounds. A 'warehouse' inside the castle... As if spawning buildings inside a desirable castle was not enough, they had, just about, two of everything staged within the complex system of walls. As the day drew to a close we decided to fly into the well-fortified fortress and loot as much as possible. Our raid got a bit messy, we lost more than we gained. We called it a day. Day three, we log in bright and early to find that our base had been raided as well. We built within a tree stand at 013068. Someone had either parachuted into our base, which was quite small and under a canopy of trees, built a tower bunker near a wall and climbed over and/or made their way in by some other clever means. In either event, the looters moved a truck near a place where two cargo-containers met. They then filled the truck with our loot (guns, ammo, gear and such) and then reached into the truck from the outside of our base via the very small gap between the two cargo containers... Our response, we added additional walls to our base to ensure we didn't suffer from the same fate a second time. No complaints. We just fixed our base and got back to the job of building up our loot pile. Toward the end of the day, with our base fixed and some of our loot restored, we decided to take a second shot at raiding the enemy base located at 162073. Five of us hopped into our Mi-8. Upon arrival at the enemy base we were greeted with small arms fire from the top of one of the castle towers. We returned fire via the guns mounted on the Mi-8 and took out the opponent. We landed inside the outer ring of the enemy base. The base was broken into three tiers. Inside the first ring was at least one Mi-8 and an osprey. We quickly took the Osprey back to base. We then attempted to take what ended up being a damaged Mi-8. Trouble was it was too damaged to sustain flight. Our pilot spun out of control and crashed the bird. We then flew into the 2nd tier. Inside the 2nd tier, as I previously mentioned, was a warehouse. Here it was, backed up against the castle walls. The base builders had then placed three cement barriers, on the inside of the warehouse, blocking the warehouse entrance. In front of the warehouse were dragon's teeth. One of our group attempted to vault over the teeth. In doing so he also found that he could vault through a gap between the warehouse and the cement barriers. Now on the inside of the warehouse he backed a truck up to the gap. He filled the truck with loot. We then pulled a truck up, from the outside, and ex-filled the loot through the same gap. We used the same technique which had been used on us the day before. Not a glitch. This was a case of a poorly designed base. Had the creators taken better care to place their barriers, the gap, which was more than a foot wide, would not have allowed our teammate to vault through. At this point the person who was guarding the base, which we shot upon arrival, had made his way back. We were just then in the process of lifting the truck, filled with loot, and heading back to base. He immediately says we were cheating. That we glitched into his base and that we crashed a bird into base on purpose. None of which was true. We attempted to argue the point. Moments later, three of the five in our squad were kicked. We then re-logged. Once more we were kicked. Waited a few, attempted to re-log again. This time we were allowed to stay. We attempted to make our case. The Admin would not listen. We stated what was stated here in this thread. Again, he could give a shit. Press V in Arma and you will vault. If by pressing V you're able to vault over or past a barrier then by way of the games design you've succeeded. This is not a glitch or an exploit. Had these folks been more detail oriented they would not have left such a gap in their security in the first place. The Admins at ES123 (DayZCraft) have abused their powers by adding a warehouse to a castle location which is used for their express purpose. They have abused their admin powers by kicking our team which was in the process of raiding their base. Do not waste your time on ES123 (DayZCraft).

    Most private hives are 1000+ vehicles/ full loadout/ 24hrs daylight noobism heavens, so his suspicions were well founded in reality.
