Or, they could simply increase the chances of getting cold. Some other mods it comes into play, but we play where the seasons are locked into late summer/early fall. Play on a server with snow up in the mountains and you will see how quickly the heat thing matters. Play on Breaking Point with the Aircraft Carrier and Oil Rig which are out on the water and you will see that Heat Packs can come in handy. I had my helicopter blow up while looting the aircraft carrier once because of a server restart and bug from the AC and vehicles on it. I was trapped out there and had to keep myself warm. No friends with helicopters on so I was just lucky I had picked up a couple heat packs which let me stay active and alive long enough to ambush someone who flew out there.

Press numpad - (minus) and it should help some - you need to double-tap it to make it stick but it doesn't stick in vehicles. It's the FOV that causes it, it's too narrow for some people but can be alleviated and of course turning of motion blur and headbob (2 ridiculous options that really shouldn't be there unless you want your character to be on smack and 2 liters of vodka) will help too.

Simply, the best mod for everyone who enjoyed DayZ before every server implemented extra 500 vehicles, doubled weapon spawns etc. Zombies are tough, it's not easy to find great guns, many locations have been redesigned. On top of that major update is comming very soon (this weekend perhaps).

Sir, No. Just, no. Dslyecxi video has around 30.000 views and 3.000 likes/dislikes. That means every 10 person will approve that or deny "on paper". Since there are 2949 likes and 44 dislikes, that means ~99% of viewers would agree with him and would approve playing in 1st person. To answer the question: When you get a job and the SA is not out yet, buy the arma package & get the addon, you will get a better idea about Dayz, and what it's all about, that is if the rampant KoS doesn't turn you off too much.
