We just made our own Epoch server and are looking for players that want to have fun and dont mind a little pvp ;) We have active non abusive admins with effective ANTI-HACKS, 400 plus vehicles with loot inside, AI patrols - hero/bandit/survivor/military, Missions w/ good loot, and self-bloodbag. building material degrades slower NO crosshairs or nameplates come join us and have a good time,is 185.2.139.156:3357 -
Hmm... It's an interesting idea. Of course, you could just play on a different server, but I suppose you'd lose any vehicles or constructions you might have... So it's definitely elegant. My only gripe is that I would personally like to be able to experience more than a single day in a play session, if I've got the day off or whatever. But it would definitely be a good option for servers that want to maintain a more realistic time scale.

LOL well for that information to have been registered in your brain you had to of read or learnt that somewhere initially. Was looking for more of an official source of information that states this stuff but thx is a good guideline. Thx I figured it differed from private hives, just was hoping there was a section in dayz wiki or something Im missing that explains all of this. This is also disturbing news as if its true it confirms that previously owned vehicles were stolen by greedy admins or some seriously lucky sons of bitches. Thanks

Hello! We are a brand new 20 slot server running Dayz Overwatch mod! Run by the wonderful HFB Private Hive system. IP: 192.200.111.146 Port:2322 If you don't know how to do that just log on to your modded arma and filter for Unshaved. Refresh a couple times if nothing shows up and you're golden. Or for those that are too lazy just search for Unshaved in your DayZ commander search prompt. Currently operating on Veteran difficulty with a normal loot spawn. Cooperation is heavily encouraged to get ahead. Being a brand new server we have a very small player base and are trying to gain one. The map is base Overwatch with custom militarized bases all around in the empty parts of the map and multiple extra towns along the inner rim of the map. Currently there are only a few scipts as we are trying to generate the survival feel and hardcore environment. No loot spawns have been changed from Overwatch and everything currently is random. Survival will be heavily based on cooperation so bring friends if you don't want to die! Larger scripts will be added as player base grows to spice up the zombie apocalypse, no "whitelist" has been implemented as no need has shown up and no password is needed either. Battleye is running in full force so you cock-monglers with stolen keys or half baked bypasses can fuck right off to the TMcheats forum to buy more when you get banned. VoIP is enabled but mic-spamming will not be tolerated. Please try and be cool-headed and maintain a mature attitude, this is a mature game with a mature fan base. Bitching and moaning will not be tolerated and will have scaling consequences for repeat bitchers and moaners. Main administrators are UnshavedComb and Duke of Wu-Tang. If you need help ask for them or leave a quick cry for help in the global chat it will be seen as we have Rcon and logs running 24/7. Server is restarted on a 6 hour cycle manually. Administrators are heroes and act as such, they will only kill if its in self defense or against a bandit force. Clans are welcome as long as large group griefing is not involved. Questions and comments concerning server side problems or private matters can be forwarded to [email protected]. Server events are hosted on a daily basis with rewards! Available scripts are self bloodbag, taking clothing off fallen foes, and advanced repair and salvaging operations for vehicles. -
Wolf Regiment How's it going DayZMod forums? Long time no see. Anyways, I'm here today to announce the opening of a brand new Overwatch server! It has literally been up for less than a full day as of this post, so join ASAP and secure your base and vehicles! If that isn't reason enough to hop and check it out, then I suppose I could tell you that the server is ran by experienced people who know what they are doing. We are fair in all disciplinary matters and have no rules other than the obvious ones (No voice on side, Use common sense, Respect admins,etc). You want to be a Lone Wolf bandit and blow things up? Go ahead! Who are we to change how you play? Same goes for all those heroes out there, too! Vehicles only despawn if you haven't checked on them for a week or they are stolen / blown up. Which still is very likely depending on how many people play on that server. Same amount of time goes for your tents and stashes, by the way. It only despawns when noone is interacting with them for a week or someone destroys them or you died.

Hello, We are looking for 5 or 6 players to join me on my dayz Breakingpoint server. We will be on tonight if you want to try and meet up. About us :thumbsup: Currently play on a well populated server 25-35 people on during most of the day. We have a base setup with houses, garages, and have vehicles choppers included. Have pretty much at least 1 of every high end gun and disregard ak's and m16's when looting. Play as bandits but are friendly with other clan's/ groups on the server to do sector B runs and pvp. We are both 18+ and have our own private Teamspeak Server. Kind of not the answers I was looking for ... I more meant this concerning vehicles. There is a certain amount of time you have from the time you get out of your vehicle and leave it your camp before it "poofs" and respawns in its original spawn location. I assumed the save feature worked this way, like you have 48 hours real time once you hit the save button on your vehicle before it will respawn on the next server reset. I read somewhere your stash will dissapear 24 hours after you die, however once per day ive logged in and hit save on it and it hasnt gone anywhere. This make more sense?

Considering that I've put well over 200 hours into the mod, most of those back in the dayz when gates would crush your legs, items disappeared constantly, vehicles were literally impossible to find, connecting to a server could take nearly 30 minutes, ect, ect... So I highly doubt it. It's okay, my love life hasn't been going anywhere lately anyway. Haha. -

[ADDED] If you logout near another player your backpack contents will be wiped. It it very important you do not logout next to another player. [ADDED] New intro screens from 1.7.7 thanks to Skaronator. [ADDED] New opt-in 3d color coded name tag system that allows you to choose to show your name or not. Your name is displayed color coded based on your humanity. Red text equals -5000 humanity and blue +5000 everyone else is displayed with white text. Thanks go to ToeJam and Gimmic for the ideas. The distance of this tag defaults to 25 meters and can be changed with DZE_HumanityTargetDistance. [ADDED] Podagorsk trader citys by Axle. Also added BI keys for Podagorsk from play with six http://play.withsix.com/mods/108-fdf_podagorsk. [ADDED] Hotwire kits found rarely on policeman zombies and even more rarely in vehicles. do i need a script for my cars to repair and refuel on automatic server restarts?

Dont pay 20 dollars to a service provider for free scripts. Why on earth you would want all vehicles to respawn repaired on restart is beyond me but yes if you go to opendayz.net im sure they will have something like that over there. -

Updates: ☼ Added a new NPC warzone (without reducing FPS finally - cleaner scripts ftw) - more info to come on this. Currently it is a large field where NPC's of different factions battle it out on ground, in vehicles, and in the air. Will be a good farming zone for now, but later there will be a base in the middle that players can fight for and defend and receive rewards. ☼ Fixed a Waypoint bug, also added a new Marker on the map for the Resistance Camp Alpha trader ☼ Added new vehicles (to include armored) at Resistance Camp Alpha's trader ☼ Added a new bambi mission (A mission that bambi's can go into and get a headstart - I.E. unarmed bandit vehicle) ☼ Fixed multiple AI Heli pathing issues. All heli's pathing is corrected and working fully More updates to come! -

Could anyone point me in the direction of an official listing for the "save" time on tents stashes and vehicles? Is it server dependent? It would be really nice to know how much real time I have from hitting the save button to it potentially poofing on a server reset. Any insight on how the save feature works altogether would be appreciated.

Dayz was about exploring, surviving. Taking calculated risks by heading to hotspots. The thrill of trying to get in and out alive after managing to travel up there in the first place.setting up a base with vehicles and tents stuffed with precious loot found at all corners of the map. 20-30 min run is considered end game? hardly. Any experienced dayz player would tell you that 9 times out of ten going to places like stary would either get you killed, or get you some decent gear. Not all of it Yet your saying that its more risky to stay down south? What is there to lose down south? Beans? And I agree, it is harder to sruvive down south because, as iv said there is now as of 1.8, no reason to leave the coast. I played dayz to explore the huge map and survive it. Not to spend my entire time in cherno death matching. If i wanted to do that, i'd go play an arcade genre game.

Hello all, its been a while. Anyway, i thought that after a few months of playing other mods and other games, i'd jump back into vanilla dayz, had a look at the 1.8 patch notes and noticed alot of annoying issues fixed. Eating in vehicles, changing to pilot seat in the chopper etc. However, despite all these welcome changes, there is one addition which I believe has destroyed what made dayz so unique. The new military loot spawns. So I load into cherno, start moving through town and pick up an enfield. Usually i'd be pretty happy to find an enfeild with ammo in cherno on a decent pop server. I then decide to check the fire station. Found an M14 with 3 mags. I mean, what? An m14..... in cherno? A 7.62 cal rifle? A weapon that deals the highest damage per shot in the game? Equal to that of all snipers and some LMG's? In cherno? What? So i did some digging and looked at the dayz db. I then discovered that fire stations are now equivalent to barracks at NWAF. Great. So now there really is no reason to leave the coast. No reason to risk a trip to the hotspots on the map, I mean why bother when you can reach endgame without leaving cherno? So I played around a bit with the m14, going berserker etc. Every single person I came across was armed with high tier mill loot. No winnie's or enfields. Bambi's with starter backpacks with M4's. All varying in make, from a normal m4a1, to an A3 or SD. With the occasional DMR from a rooftop. why? Did people get sick of having to go north to get good gear? Were people whining on here about guns being too hard to find? Iv been out of the loop for a while, Im not QQing here, or screaming at the devs or anything. I just want someone to tell me why they've done this. Am i the only one here that thinks this has broken what dayz used to be?

I would like to invite anyone to join my recreated "Dayz After Infection" Server. Dayz After Infection was a PVP Militarized map and that is what I am trying to bring back. I have added a ton of military vehicles that were taken out in 1.7.7 and added some new ones that were never in before. So you if you like Dayz for the battles then this server is for you.. Absolutely no base destruction, unless it is to gain entrance. 2. No PvP until you join an alliance. (You have one week to choose a side) 3. No looting locked vehicles in bases while clan players are offline. 4. No destroying vehicles in bases unless people are being hostile from those vehicles.
