You are right, but just at this state of game developpment. With all features added i hope this game will evolve in other shit than another testosterone rambo simulation :rolleyes: PAN ! PAN ! YOU ARE DEAD ! So cooooool. okay for some hours, but next, please ! Pooping, peeing, sleeping adds dynamism and deep to the game IMO. That's not arcade, it's realist to take a pee after drinking 4 sodas cans I would love to catch a player taking a break lol ! I can figure it :D

This actually is a nice idea, whereas there could also be non-shitty fertilizers around the supermarket or at farms. I didn't vote because I am missing the 'maybe' option. It really depends on HOW it is added to the game. If your toon has to look for a toilet, is closing the door so neither you nor any other player can see what's going on, hear him browsing a newspaper while whistleing a funny tune... maybe... This way you could have a fair and realistic chance to wait for him until he leaves the toilet so you can ambush him. On the other hand I don't want my toon to become a 3D tamagotchi... If players are able to fool around like - shitting/peeing on people - throwing/force feeding fecals to other players - or any other humiliating action (including scat and pee) which I can't think of right now i will stick with the OP and uninstall the game. As someone else said in this discussion... there are other games in the market. If this whole 'adding poop to the game' is real and not a troll I really doubt the developers priorities... Making a million of bucks with the early release and the only thing they come along with are some new clothings and the idea of pooping... come on... that can't be true... How about getting a stable server done?

* M16 Rifles don't fit the game - it's extremely unlikely that a M16 rifle can be found laying around in Russia (withing 225km area) * Random survivors with the ability to shoot guns and sniper rifles like veteran soldiers don't fit the game. I would prefer to make this more accurate - make women characters unable to shoot guns and if they try, make the recoil bump the rifle in their face. * Running like crazy for hours doesn't fit the game. Make sure people get tired and make them rest so the road to Electro can last forever because it's the most interesting part of the game. * Eating 50000kcal a day doesn't fit the game. Make a single can of tactical bacon last forever. * Going around all day without pooping or peeing doesn't fit the game. Make sure characters take a break to poop in the middle of a firefight. I just think these things take the game in the wrong direction. Also I demand an USB peripherial with an attached axe/matchete/gun/whatever to stab me/shoot me in the same pleace that I've been shot/stabbed in the game.

LOL, unfortunately I do not urinate on wells, since there is no option / need for peeing / pooping (and thank GOD for that!) I know, I am a horrible person, but I will not leave my char unarmed, and I check in regularly. I am an light green in energized and hydrated, and I am healthy. I intend to keep it that way. And oh no!!! Not the Prevention Police!!! I intended to make warm skin-blankets out of my avatars if they do die a unforeseen death! How am I supposed to keep warm without my ava-skin??? I now ask you, why would any logical human being want to have to eat in a video game? I don't understand how having to eat and drink isn't as equally displeasing and, in your guys' opinion "an annoyance" or, as having to relieve yourself BECAUSE you have to eat and drink. I honestly don't think you understand the vision the developers have for this game as far as immersion and reality goes. I get it, you find peeing and pooping immature but it's a natural function just like eating and drinking.

I am not trying to "kill" anything. What I want is to PRESERVE what I see as being the spirit of this game. This thread is an example of people who desire a mature play environment (not mature in the "adult, XXX" sense, but in the base meaning of the word). It is enough already that we have a certain level of immaturity in the player base. I am NOT referring to being handcuffed and force fed poisons. It is a game, and some amount of goofiness, lulz, tomfoolery, or whatever is welcome. Personally, I laughed the entire time when I first experienced bandits trying to wash out my dirty mouth. Nothing can be done to prevent a certain level of immaturity in game. Kids will be kids, will annoy and act or play in a manner that is "douchey". Adding in these feature would be an element of realism. THAT I don't deny. But I personally see ZERO benefit in the addition of nudity, pooping, or peeing in game. When I read a book (which I often do), I can logically assume that at some point, the characters in the story must relieve themselves of bodily waste. It may even be IMPLIED in the text ("and so and so went to the bathroom") But no piece of decent literature I have ever read for the sake of entertainment has EVER laid out in descriptive detail the events that happen. Even most visual entertainment rarely use such visuals, and then only when it is blatantly for the sake of humor (South Park would be an example). But when I watch such a show, I come EXPECTING offensive humor, and therefore do not mind as long as it is done tastefully. There would be nothing tasteful about this in game. It would be done purely with the purpose of offending, and I WOULD find it offensive. I DO NOT WANT TO ENDURE BEING FORCED TO WATCH MY OWN CHARACTER RELIEVE HIMSELF IN A BUSH, CENSORED OR NOT. Just as in the books I read, I can logically assume that my character must at some point relieve himself. I don't need it to actually happen right in my face for me to be more immersed in the game. I KNOW that such things happen. It doesn't need to be shown or explained. Why? because I am a mature adult, and am already well aware of the basics of biological life, and at my age, am FAR beyond the point where I find the simple act funny or fascinating or interesting. Whereas a show like "south park" can make such things be funny because of CONTEXT, here, it has no context; its just an action, there for the sake of being an action. I DO NOT WANT TO BE FORCED OR RISK BEING FORCED TO HAVE A PLAYER EXERCISE DEPRAVE AND DISGUSTING ACTS THAT BORDER ON THE OUTRIGHT FRINGES OF BIZZARE AND TWISTED SEXUAL FANTASY. Again, with the example of south park, there is an episode called "Human Cent-I-Pad", in which cartman is given an I-Pad that can do everything, including shitting in Kyle's mouth. This was a funny episode! Why? CONTEXT. There was a POINT to the disgusting humor. Its PURPOSE is to provoke laughter, and is not done for the SOLE purpose of offending anyone.. In addition, it is happening to a fictional, comic relief character that I have no real empathy for. IN GAME such an action would lack ANY context, and would be, at best, the worst kind of offensive griefing/trolling (something we have enough of as it is), and at worst, a kind of sexual rape done vicariously through our characters. EITHER way I find the concept beyond ridiculous. AGAIN I will say that if you disagree, you are free to do so. But please do not derail my topic, which I made specifically so that like minded individuals can express their desire to NEVER see these things in game. If you feel that a "minority" is going to ruin it for the majority, then by all means make your OWN equivalent thread with an opposing viewpoint and purpose.

I've read on the internet, that pooping was already a confirmed animation. I honestly hope that peeing and pooping is something that will ONLY work in a bathroom where no other player can see what's going on. If you should be able to pee/poop on other players I would have to doubt Rocket's signature. But I am confident that they will add a mature solution to follow mother nature's calls.

My personal opinion is that yes it would be more realistic for pooping and peeing, but we want to play Dayz, not Sims

I actually have to argue the peeing ability. It has both sides of the coin. In desperate times, you could drink urine if water isn't available. Nudity is not needed and pooping... no. I really don't want to be shit on... I'd like to see peeing in the game, but pooping is taking it to far. And nudity is a tad bit much as well.

Pooping and Peeing worked incredibly well in 'The Ship'. Basically everything you did had a meter. When you got thirsty, your thirsty meter would go up. When you drank something, your thirsty meter would go down, but the pee meter would go up. Same thing with food. Hell, you even had to read, take showers, and talk to NPC's for 'entertainment'. I can see it working great in DayZ. Dysentery anyone?

I'm ok with nudity... after all why is it ok to shoot people in the head and all that violence, but no nudity? bloody hypocritical Peeing is ok too, but pooping... I dunno, running around to find toilet paper, tear up shirts or pick grass to wipe ur behind? Not sure that's fun. It would be a source to make some very funny youtube video's though....

I don't barely get why Dean's team want to add pooing and peeing, I'm fine with vomitting as status effect but theres no reason for the other two, except of realism but hey: there's also no sleeping no cleaning yourself for more personal hygiene? Maybe a dev got caught in his psychosexual development, buzzword would be anal stage^^ I really can't see an advantage for the game but can easily imagine more pleasant ways to interact with your digital environment than pooping? Correct me if I am wrong.

Peeing and pooping? Maybe just soiling of clothes occasionally which requires you to find new ones unless you take time to go to the toilet about every IRL hour. If you don't go and don't change, you have a high chance of getting dysentery or cholera. You can collect urine in a bottle, and use it to spoil food, crudely disinfect wounds, or as an emergency beverage which decreases your blood and can give you serious diseases, but just takes the edge off your thirst for the time being. However, you can't collect urine as fast as you drink it.

I recommend not visiting (former) eastern-germany in summertime then... What´s wrong about nudity? I rather see someone naked than in fully equipped military gear... Same for peeing/pooing, you (not to you Demon) cry about people abusing it to tortue other players ... what about rotten fruits or weapons at all then. If you include stuff like stomach to the game, you might think about including the bowel and bladder too. But please be aware of not creating theSims : RainbowZombieHeartApocalypseUnicorn ...

Seems legit. There should be a chance, that when you step into a pile of poo, you slip. An even smaller chance that you break a bone due to falling damage. And another even smaller chance to land in the pile. That would give you a status "smelly". It would attract flies and the chance you get infectious wounds would get higher. You can only get rid of the "smelly" status, when you throw away your clothes or take a bath in a river / the sea. A couple of times already when people here drop the "realism" argument, I thought about adding peeing aswell. It is realistic! Who could drink couple of pipsis and empty bottles/canteens in masses without actually ever peeing? Imagine you could control it! And at a certain point you really would have to pee otherwise your bladder would burst or you'd pee into your pants. Imagine you'd fight against bandits and they have not pee'd in a while. That would create soooo many different ways to play out. ;) ... just for the record. I hope you noticed I was being sarcastic. Well, at least a bit. :D

Hope you all understand what Im trying to say. :) Chracter: With all the masks and hats, it would certainly be nice if you could add some color to lubricate the face. Kinda like football players. Crafting: What is the tape thought in the game? How would it be if you could stick together 30s or 40s magazines, similar to the 60s (30/30) magazines which consists of two 30 magazines basically. Or if you find any head lamp, but instead has a flashlight, this may stick adhesive tape on the headgear. Character/Actions: How would it be if you also have to go to the toilet? Who eats and drinks must also go to the loo. Sounds logical, right? Someone who does not go to the toilet, peeing in your pants. The pants and their contents then change its state. For example: From Prestine to Worn. If you have a badly damaged box with food in it, so the state changes in ruins and is therefore no longer be used.
