    Bush tracking

A good start would be: -Eating canned food leaves an empty tin can behind. You're free to pick it up and take it with you if you wish. -Weapons leave bullet casings. -Eating meat leaves scraps. -Vehicles leave tire tracks. -Dead animals and fireplaces are slower to despawn.
  2. Hi, my name is Stareon, I'm a 21 years old english speaking guy from Hungary. I'm looking to join to a somewhat organised, or at least active clan, with raiding purposes, repairing vehicles. I usually kill everyone on sight when I'm alone, just because I experienced my surviving chances are much higher like that. That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to help survivors/kill bandits. I'm here to have fun, meet some people, and last but not the least, shoot some zeds in the FACE. I have some friends who might join the clan with me, all of the are mature, english speaking with microphone. Any questions? Shoot

    Pending Update: Build 1.7.2

Regarding the bear traps. Will they Damage Vehicles? If yes how much, broken wheel? If a bycicle runs through it how much damage it will do to the "driver"? Hope you considered all of this stuff rocket.
  4. Spawns are not bugged that I know of, but to my knowledge, they don't just all spawn when the server starts either. Seems to work like good loot, sometimes it spawns sometimes it don't. For example we waited like 4 days to get atv's from a mountain before they finally spawned in. If you know for 100% sure there is a vehicle at x,y,z, like if you saved it there, and it does not load up shutdown and restart the server, not restart mission, our server will not load vehicles or tents if we restart mission it must be shutdown and restarted. Other then that IDK bro best of luck finding them though.

    [DayZMod] The Dayz Statistics thread!

I'd like to know what percentage of vehicles, across all servers: 1. are still at their original spawn location 2. are still within the boundaries of the map
  6. Bumb fgs They still doing it. Stop/starting server just to keep their vehicles save when nobody of them is online to play dayz

    US Navy {SEALs}

US NAVY SEALS We're currently in the process of changing servers, stay tuned. In response to the growing infection in eastern Europe, US JSOC dispatched select elite special operations groups to gather intelligence and escort scientists attached to the operation. Part of the joint task force was us: SEAL Team 6. The operation went bad before it even began. While investigating a small town on the coast of Chernarus, one of the doctors under our command came down with a flu-like illness. Hours later, he violently attacked several SEAL Team members, and inflicted serious injuries before he was finally subdued. With part of our team incapacitated, we called for a medevac, which never came. When time ran out, those team members turned. The entire group was thrown into confusion. We were finally able to make contact with command, who informed us of a secondary extraction point. After arriving, we secured the area, but upon arrival our helicopter was shot down by a Russian SAM. After that we lost all radio and satellite contact and decided to go underground. Over the weeks, we lost a few good men to the infection and Russian snipers. Eventually, with the threat of starvation looming overhead, we decided to strike back. 3 weeks later... After a long war with the remnants of the Russian Spetsnaz, we are happy to declare the infection zone clear of organized military hostiles. Pockets of resistance have crept up here and there but we now have the upper hand. As such, we have created a survivor evacuation zone in Chernogorsk. Any unarmed survivors in need of medical support or evacuation to the north will have to make it to the Cherno dock platform for chopper evac. We have declared Cherno a survivor safe-zone, so any act of aggression against the SEALs or unarmed survivors will be met with the use of deadly force. ----- The 'real' story... For weeks now we have been playing on EU-BIGBO, due to the presence of helicopters. Unfortunately, so were a large group of Russian hackers. They hoarded all of the vehicles and were able to simply spawn in massive amounts of great gear and weapons. So with nothing else to do, we set up a secret base under the premise of 'US Special Forces cut off from support and left to survive in the wasteland'. And we fought a guerrilla war against the Russian hackers, thus nicknamed the 'Red Army'. It was difficult at first. They could show up at any time, in groups ranging anything from 2-12. Often heavily armed and in helicopters or military trucks. The first week, we were able to eliminate several squads by using stealth tactics and only common weapons. We geared ourselves off their bodies and then used that gear to fight larger groups, eventually destroying several of their ground vehicles, and at least one helicopter. The fighting was tough, they had a plethora of weapons, from thermal scopes to light machineguns, to rocket launchers and C4. The tipping point was this past week, where we were finally able to steal a working helicopter and a ton of supplies inside it. The next day, some admins finally got on and banned them all for hacking. At least 10 of them are gone forever. So the SEALs were declared the winners, and we in turn decided to help out the server pop for a change. We still run our own private ops, but during certain times we will be policing the coastal highway and evacing survivors out of Cherno. OUR MISSION: Foster cooperation, trust, and support among survivors while simultaneously protecting them from the worst of the zone's dangers. OUR TEAM: The SEALs roster as it currently stands: Demolitions/SEAL Team Commander: Charlie Sheen Sniper: Nameless Sniper: Adam Crew Chief/Support Gunner: X CQC Expert: J All other SEAL team members are currently classified. This is to protect their identities while on operations. All SEAL team members can be identified if wearing the {SEALs} tag. ----- We are currently about to open recruitment. If you wish to put your name in or learn more about our rigorous recruitment process post here or PM. If you see our {SEALs} tag, say hello! Contact SEAL Team Commander Charlie Sheen if you have any questions or problems.
  8. I know its long but I think its worthwhile;) There does not seem to be much fear from infected. After awhile they become an annoyance when in fact they should be terrifying the whole time you try to survive with your character.By adding in a few more layers to the mix you force a game changing element. That is fear of getting bitten and then slowly getting infected yourself. If bitten you could get a bite icon which itself slowly turns red until you yourself are infected and turn.Make it so that it takes a while to turn so that you can try to get antibiotics to cure yourself.Maybe 8 real time hours. This should give you time to plan a strategy to find some meds by visiting hospitals or maybe even trading with players.Could also make colds factor in where if you get sick from elements then the time to turning is lessened to 4 hours. Next is to make food more rare.By making food/drink more rare players are forced into making trips to small villages by necessity with larger cities giving more food spawns but higher chance to get bitten for you and your friends.Crawling around small villages that have less infected just to have a chance at finding some food and water should be a large part of this game from start and well after getting the best gear.Afterall, this part of DayZ is brilliant in itself!!! Think small groups now having to band together to enter towns since now u have a chance of getting bitten and that causes a totally new game tactic to emerge.Small towns become guns blazing affairs since you do not want to get bitten!! ;) Large towns now become better targets since they have more food PLUS the meds.....but of course more infected.Would this be terrifying if this were to happen in real life?Yes because while the swarm potential is bad,the chance of being bitten and then getting infected yourself is worse since you will slowly turn yourself into a mindless zombie walking the land looking for human flesh.Remove the broken bones in effect and make it being bitten is the bad stuff infected will do to you with the new element of a timed demise. They are just infected afterall and not super humans.Plus not being able to walk is game breaking while having to find meds with a timed penalty is immersifying. Animals in wild and drinking from ponds and lakes makes later game easy since you can survive without ever having to enter a town anymore.Bad for gameplay obviously and people would not come here and say the infamous "now that I have everything, what do I do?" line.Less animal spawns and make drinking from ponds and lakes giving a chance to get sick and hence much more susceptible to the infection.Easy cure for the easiness that stems from a canteen and a knife.Maybe a new spawn is water purifier pills? Military hot spots should be were players go to get the good stuff.Everything and I mean everything from vehicles, weapons, large ammo spawns to even vehicles.Problem is they have no food or medical stuff so camping them is only feasible when your well stocked.I also think a good way to make military infected harsher is to give them armor so that headshots are the feasible way to kill them. Since fear of being bitten is on top priority,I think spawning players should get a few cokes and some candy bars in their bags and the advice to head north and try their best to not get bitten. :P Also,I think the canteen should hold 3 drinks while being rarer to spawn. This will make it seem precious since the food stuffs are rarer. What do you guys think? Could be helping a squad mate to get some meds and the sick players screen is getting all blurry but he does not say a word about it for fear of being killed.LOL Then when the time nears and no sight of meds you could have player start randomly mumbling/screaming like the infected do at which point players around them just open fire.

    VEHICLE UPDATE (database side): 2012-06-16

7 days idle is too long imo, since majority of vehicles are hoarded by clans, how about reducing it to 3 days, and also adding random new vehicles in random server restarts for the noobs

    My Headlights are broaken

An answer would be great. Unfortunately I think it is just a bug. I have had the same problem with vehicles, and I have found the headlights to magically work again after a server restart.
  11. The status of vehicles isn't being saved correctly. Found a bus, fixed bus up (bus was not the shot out model). Server restart, bus is in same position but is no longer repaired.

    DayZ Stories

The following entries are based on actual in-game events: Day 1 The last thing I remember was jumping over the side of a large oil tanker that had set sail off the coast of Providence, Rhode Island a few weeks ago…maybe more now, as I have no idea how long I have been unconscious. One night, the tanker had become engulfed in flames, so it was either burn to death or drown…I chose the latter. It seemed like a great idea at the time: board the oil tanker with enough food and supplies to last our group of 35 strong a year’s time and wait until the infection had run its course, then find port somewhere and start over. I made a quiet promise to myself to think harder on the set of occurrences that lead me to be lying face down in the surf in the middle of the night on the coast of Fuck-Knows-Where. Dragging myself further inland and into some low-lying brush, I manage to shrug off the small backpack that mysteriously clung to my back with the same desperation as I to the driftwood I rode to shore on and felt around inside for anything useful. As luck would have it, the very first thing my hand found purchase on was a flashlight. Before turning on the flashlight inside of my pack to see what else is inside, I stop and listen to the sounds around me. The waves crashing on the shore, the wind blowing through the brush surrounding me and the distant sound of some type of unknown group of insects was all I could hear. The welcome lack of any kind of moaning and/or growling penetrating the darkness gave me the confidence to turn the flashlight on, being careful to keep it as far into the pack as possible in order to minimize its visibility. Inside the pack I found a bottle of painkillers with a dozen pills…which I immediately ate 4 of in order to remedy my pounding skull, a pair of binoculars, one sealed pack of bandages, and not much else. After a few minutes, I mustered the courage to get up, look around, pick a direction and set off along the shoreline, keeping my flashlight off and instead using the moonlight as far as it would take me on the edges of this unknown land. Day 2 Entry 1: I walked along the beach for about an hour and came up on a small residential area just as the morning sun was beginning to rise. Along the way I began to lose fear and gain confidence, because I had yet to see anyone or anything that may or may not want to eat my face…until now. About a hundred yards off, I could see the shambling, uneven movement of about half a dozen infected. They always look the same: rotted faces lurching forward towards the ground, as if retracing their steps while looking for something precious recently dropped…but never to be found. Their slow, methodical plodding is what made this infection so deadly, as they look pretty harmless, until they noticed someone who hadn’t yet been bitten. The infection gives them superhuman speed, which is what caught so many by surprise and lead to so many deaths so quickly. The key is to stay low, quiet and hidden, as their sense of smell seems to no longer have any use. I managed to get into a few of the homes and find some supplies: a can of sardines, a can of beans, a can of Pepsi, an unfilled canteen, and what appears to be a new little girl’s diary with a pen attached to it. I was starving and thirsty, so I ate the sardines (blech!) and choked them down with the Pepsi. Even though I could hear their groans outside of the small house I was in, I have learned over these past few months since the outbreak to tell that these were the sounds of docile infected…and they posed little threat to me in this state. With a full belly and a safe place to rest, I decided to at least try and get some shuteye. Entry 2: Well, if there was ever any debate as to the infected being attracted to snoring, I just put that shit to rest. It’s getting dark again, which indicates that I have been asleep for about 11 hours. I guess I needed it. I’m just happy I didn’t wake up dead. Before the sun sets, I was able to write about yesterday and today in this diary I’ve found. I think it will help me to keep my sanity (what’s left of it), as well as allow me to keep notes on the infected and a working inventory list of my supplies. I’ll head out in the morning, and hopefully find something to defend myself with...preferably something that dispenses large amounts of lead at high speeds. I’ve seen a few broken down military vehicles, so I may get lucky. Day 3 My hands are still shaking as I write this, so forgive my jagged penmanship. Just before morning, I headed east along the coast to see what else of use I could find for myself. Things weren’t looking great, until I found a serviceable axe inside a fire truck sticking half out of the ocean. I spent a moment swinging and familiarizing myself with my new found defense, then continued east between the main road that hugged the coast and the shoreline. After about 2 hours, I stumbled upon a sizable town with dozens of multi-storied buildings. On my way into said town I noticed a street sign, though the language and letters appeared to be some form of Russian or Czech. The sign read, “Elektro-blah3blah-Czech-7blah,” so let’s just go with “Elektro.” The infected were everywhere, but I was doing my best ninja impression and was able to avoid them, at first. As I rounded the corner of a house in a slow, crouched jog, I literally bumped my face into the ass of one of these god damn things. I’m not sure who was more surprised, but this infected let out its “dinnertime!” scream. I managed to cut the scream short with an axe to the infected’s skull, but not before it had notified the other 20-30 in the area. Having to abandon the crouch jog and burst into a full sprint, I headed towards a nearby grocery store. Normally, I would be very quiet and careful upon entering a building, but there was no time for that. The doors were likely shatter resistant glass, but the door on the right was spider-webbed pretty severely, so I took a chance and slowed just enough so I could throw the axe at the door. When the axe hit the door, the bottom half shattered completely as I dove through the new opening. I got to my feet quickly and scrambled to the back of the small market, having to leave the axe behind for now. You see, the infected have a very short attention span, so if I was able to stay hidden and quiet for a few minutes, they would just forget about me and wander off, continuing their never-ending search of lost heirlooms. As I sat in the darkness of the corner of the store, my eyes began to adjust to the point where I noticed a corpse in military fatigues propped up on the bare shelf adjacent to me. I sat in silence for a time, until I felt confident enough that the infected had forgotten about me. Lady luck smiled upon me once again as I looked inside the dead man’s pack with my flashlight. A box of matches, a hunting knife, a watch, a map of the surrounding area…and an AK-Fucking-47 with 3 30round clips! Sweet fucking Jesus I have a chance!!! Before the fallout, I had never even held a gun, but it’s amazing how fast you can get good at something when your life depends on it. Much of my time on the oil tanker was spent learning and training about fighting and weapons, as about half of our group was National Guard. I loaded the weapon, made sure the safety was off, and then froze. I heard several soft, careful footfalls in the aisle next to me. These were not the erratic, spastic footsteps of something reanimated…this fucker was alive, and hunting me. Aside from weapons, another thing I learned along the way is that the biggest threat to my survival was other people. I readied my newfound weapon and waited. As his head slowly crept around the corner I pulled the trigger, but I didn’t realize the machine gun was set to full-auto. I unloaded the entire clip into his left eye before I was able to release my petrified finger off the trigger. Needless to say, I don’t think he’s going to pull through. All the stupid son of a bitch had on him was the axe I dropped, which I promptly stuffed in between my backpack and my back. Oh, that would have been some ironic shit indeed if I had been killed with the object not moments ago helped saved my life. I didn’t wait around to see if my scared, stupid Rambo ass had alerted every infected in the entire town, so I slowly opened the rear service door, looked to make sure the coast was clear, and headed north out of town, into the woods.

    The Biggest Problems

I've been playing this game since the start and these major problems have yet to be addressed, here's my take on it: 1) PVP - There's nothing wrong with killing others but, in its current state, PVP is too easy. There's really no strategy or tactics involved in finding an overpowered sniper rifle, camping a hilltop with dozens of rounds of ammo, and taking potshots at passing players. This is exactly what this game DOESN'T need - senseless killing. Solution - cut down on military weapons, remove military-grade sniper rifles altogether. Main arsenal should consist of handguns, civilian shotguns and rifles, and alternative weapons like tranquilizer guns. Excellent thread on alternative weapons http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=8756 Make bandits work for their kills. Give players equal-footing weapons wise and base the outcome of a firefight on skill, tactics, awareness, etc. Not whoever has the more OP gun(mk48! .50 cal! silenced m4!). Military weapons, like AK's - m16's - mp5's, would stay in the game, but become extremely rare, with extremely rare ammo. People using these guns would come to value every bullet and seriously consider the necessity of every potential engagement. If you're going to use these rare guns, you better have a good reason to because odds are you won't find ammo for a long time afterwards. _________________________________________________________ 2) Disconnecting - self-explanatory. Server hopping is a big problem and needs to be fixed ASAP. Solution - a sleep system. Before disconnecting, players need to fall asleep. As soon as the player character enters sleep, players are free to disconnect. However, the player body will actually remain in-play for a set amount of time - like 5 mins. This way DC-ing to avoid combat would be impossible as your sleeping body could still be looted and potentially killed. Upon reconnection, players would have to wait 30 secs. or so before regaining control of their character and waking up. Disconnecting before your player enters sleep(task manager, alt+f4) doesn't save your game. You lose all progress and items since your last successful "sleep". __________________________________________________________ 3) Vehicles - clans stash vehicles off-map limiting their use by everyone else. Solution - tents and vehicles don't "save" off-map. Players can still go up and explore these areas but will not be able to stash equipment/vehicles up there. Normal players would now be able to search for and find vehicles within proper map-boundaries. Would pose a real challenge in maintaining and protecting valuable equipment and vehicles to clans. _________________________________________________________ These following changes are more controversial but I felt like listing them anyways: 1) All servers should be veteran. Players shouldn't see themselves on maps and there should be no name-tags. If possible, the range on name tags should be reduced to 10-15 meters. Groups of players would still be able to identify each other without abusing name-tag scanning. 2) Game should be 1st-person only. Arma has a 3rd person feature because it's primarily a single-player/COOP experience. All PVP gametypes and servers usually disable 3rd person because it's way too easy to abuse. 3)NVG and GPS should be removed completely. _________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________ Of course dayz is only in alpha and has a long way to go, but I think these pressing issues are capable of being, and should be, fixed as soon as possible. I'd like to know what everyone else has to think, but constructive criticism only. Any insulting/flaming posts will be reported.
  14. Hey everyone! I have a minor issue with my group: Only I am able to access the car trunk while in it, as long as I'm not in the driver seat. However, noone else is able to do that, which is a shame because it would really come in handy to change stuff while driving. Does anyone know why I am able to do that but noone else is? Thanks in Advance H@buster

    What is rearm?

Yeah i want to know that too. For example on a fireplace there is an option to "rearm", same on vehicles, and some other things i can't remember right now. So what does it do ?

Yeah man' date=' hell they should make it so zeds do no damage, its too annoying, hell why not remove them all together, they just get in the way, and add more vehicles, weapons, maps, have it team A v team B,. or NPC,........ oh wait. [/quote'] That's not at all what he's saying. Good one tho. Okay okay, i'll be serious for a min. I think blood loss from Zeds has to be high. So high in fact that if you get hit even once the amount of blood you loose should be too much to be replaced by food alone. Apart from company, the real benefit from teaming up with someone is the use of blood bags. I think we need a some sort of direct advantage for teaming up, and blood bags does this well. I wouldn't mind less blood loss from zeds if food didn't replace blood at all, or greatly reduced,. therefore making it possible to solo the game, but extremely beneficial to team up. Apart from that its usually just a case of getting safe and bandaging, then finding a buddy, if you have no buddy i believe it should be harder.

  20. The server is locked with no one actually in game for about 10 more minutes to allow vehicles to spawn, as this might be the fix to no vehicles spawning.
  21. Scroll to the bottom for TL;DR/My main concern. So recently a friend of mine convinced me to purchase the Combined Operations Arma 2 package. I was reluctant at first however the zombie mod he mentioned to me seemed intriguing. I caved in a matter of minutes and began installation of both games. The first thing I did was run the two games, exit, then immediately begin installing the DayZ mod. I had the debug forest issue my first sign in, looked for solution and found one within a few hours. I had finally signed into DayZ for the first time! My first goal, was to find my friend. Which...through a series of respawns/aborts, we managed to get close enough to eachother to hoof it. Everything was going well, I was getting a feel for the controls...learned the usefulness of ALT! After numerous deaths to zombies and regrouping attempts I had finally really hit my groove...being able to navigate the map with stealth, searching buildings undetected and just plain having a damn good time. After what was probably close to 4 hours of fooling around and learning the game my friend and I decided to set ourselves a goal...to get a bicycle! I searched possible spawn locations for the bicycles and before I knew it we were well on our way...scouring a few coastal locations with no luck and eventually moving inland hoping for more success. Around Stary Sobor sadly I lost my friend...He had made the grave mistake of firing off his rifle in the supermarket while backed into a corner. He was trapped in a sectioned off portion of the building with only 1 entrance/exit. In seconds there was near 6-7 zombies in the room and in the doorway...I tried my best to kill them but he was already unconscious in the first few seconds. Im not proud...but I ran, I ran and ran and ran some more! I was lost now, I had been running in the forest trying to lose the zombies that had turned their attention to me when my friend had died. I tried to climb to the highest peak and get a feel for the lay of the land, consult my map and hopefully find my bearings. I came to a clearing that I believed to be Old Fields and lying down there in the field I though about my next move, consulted my map some more and had an realization...I was near the Airfield! Which meant helicopters! Bicycles were no longer in my mind, my sole purpose in life was now to find and repair a helicopter. After failing to recognize landmarks I was lost again for a short while and ended up in Kabanino. It wasn't a terrible mistake, I found a water pump to fill my canteen which was greatly in need. I started north up the road to what I was now 100% certain was the correct path to the Airfield. Pretty desolate area between Kabanino and the Airfield I must say, not a single life-form human or zombie. In seconds however that changed. I was at the stone wall surrounding the Airfield, I kept close to it and made my way further north towards the distance gate. I came across a hole in the wall and decided to save some time and just make my entrance there...MISTAKE! A zombie was now on me and I though to myself "Great as soon as I get here, I up and die". I had learned a lot in my time on DayZ though knew that I should run to an area I already knew was vacant of zombies and deal with my little friend. After a few minutes of running I came to an open field, turned about and shot him dead. I laid prone in the field...scouted and saw that I had not alerted anything else. I start back north again towards to Airfield. After sneaking past the zombies at the gate I came to what looked like a relay tower for communications with aircraft. Searched it and found some magazines for my AK-74. I navigated out of the building and down the runway, searching all the hangars for signs of a helicopter or possibly some repair parts. After searching every single hangar in the Airfield and what seemed to be nearly every building there too I drew a conclusion: There was nothing here...I had not seen a soul in terms of living people. Some had either been there already and taken it or it didn't spawn in that location. Frustrated I made my way to the north-east exit road going from the Airfield to Grishino. Came to an open field with some hay bales and saw 8 military zombies...Didn't make sense...8 zombies in a field of hay? I went to investigate the situation. Coming so close to the zombies to possible make them aggressive I see it...in the back of the field, it was unmistakeable...a helicopter! I was excited now and eager to move in. I searched my ammunition to find 4 full magazines courtesy of the Airfield. I shot them all once with my AK-74, crippling them. I zig-zgaged through all the crawling zombies scattered in the field and came upon the holy grail of DayZ vehicles. It had crashed and looked pretty beaten up...I honestly didn't know how to go about repairing it or even how to investigate what parts I needed to do the repairs so I did what any uneducated game player would do...spammed the mouse wheel as I ran around the helicopter, looking for anything on my HUD. There was nothing...It was obviously just another burnt out vehicle like the many I had seen on the road. I lost all hope...I didn't want to live anymore. I ran as fast as I could towards Grishino with the sole purpose of ending my life. And I did...I fired off all 3 of my magazines as I ran through town. Now im not a religious man but the church seemed like a good enough place as any to die. I stood in the pews and awaited my death, it came swiftly... That has been my grandest and most disappointing DayZ experience all in one and leads me to a question. TL;DR Vehicle spawns in the game...are either to rare or players are hoarding all of them. I've had many adventures since the Airfield escapades, all with the same result. I've search nearly every location the DayZ Wikipedia provides for vehicle spawns and never found a single repairable one. Its my knowledge that vehicles respawn when the server restarts, is that correct? How do I know/find a server that has been recently reset? Im really enjoying this game but with players possibly hoarding multiple vehicles off map...it significantly lowers my interest in the game. If anyone knows of a server where vehicles remain unclaimed or is restarted frequently please let me know. Didn't realize it was so long...haha. Going to do some work outside and check back in a short while. Thank you to anyone who has a response.

    Tips for an effective squad?

Friends only, with 6 guys (or better more) you'll be invicible: you don't have to care to die, because minutes after you have another mil weapon from your group. You can collect vehicles and then scount the map looting everything and (literally) do piles of items to share with the others when they dies. Remember: when you play with a squad you shouldn't concentrate on "survive", because you will die, even a noob with a makarov may kills you; the way to win is to have your gear ready after you respawn! Basically each time you die you don't have to care to collect all the stuff.. because it's already there, provided by your squad.. then can also "collect" you at the respawn point using the vehicles. ;)
  23. In the last two weeks on the ONE server I play so I can't speak for any other server I've had in my possession -Bus (Found it in a field by someone trying to hid it, in bad condition fixed it up had for a few days then got shot out of it when i went to pick up a new spawn near cherno) -2 Pedal Bikes found along the coast -1 Motorbike found north of stary sober in a field (don't know why it was there) -1 Red Car spawned in Stary sober had to repair everything on it and found it within 10 minutes of finding the motorcycle -2 Tractors found one at a spawn the other I killed a guy while he was doing doughnuts around a helicopter crash site (was pretty funny) -1 Offroad truck found in the middle of the NWAF on the runway fully fixed with enough fuel to drive to safety (again I don't know why it was there) I have seen these vehicles -Another motorbike with two people on it -A red car cruise through stary sober crashing into things (terrible driver) -A green jeep/humvee looking thing -Heard another vehicle near me drive past that was unrelated and far away from my other sightings -A flipped over ATV near Berezino that I blew up so it would respawn (haven't seen or found one since) My advice? Consistently play one server and it'll actually increase your chances of finding vehicles, because your looking throughout one "world" instead of spreading your time throughout different servers. Think outside the box where would you hide a vehicle when going to a decent town like berezino or the NWAF? camp those locations and take a vehicle by force if you need to

    So..uhhh...now what?

congrats you've reached the point in the game where there's seemingly nothing to do. your options: 1) pvp 2)find a team, repair vehicles 3)search for rare items 4)stop playing the game
  25. It could just be that the clan that plays on Atlanta 59 decided to find and keep every single vehicle off of the map, but the server only went up around a week ago; I don't think that it's possible. I've informed the players on the server that I'll be restarting, then locking the server for a bit to allow vehicles to spawn without the spam of players connecting all of the time. Hopefully they actually do begin to spawn. If so, that would simply be a miracle.
