    Helicopters in the game?

Vehicles aren't guaranteed to spawn on a restart. When we got out fresh server with a brand new instance ID it took about 4 days before the first vehicle was spotted, there are no guarantees Helicopters are going to instantly spawn in... and if the past is any indication, they are going to spawn in like once a week.
  2. Zealot (DayZ)

item duplication is far too rampant

what we've been doing to combat this is by taking the gear out and throwing it on the ground. we fill the vehicles/tents up with wood and save them... kinda gives me that warm fuzzy feeling

item duplication is far too rampant

I like how the op is like, there is way to many items etc etc. But our group spreads out over a few servers jesus don't you expect to find loot? Also you need to think along the lines of NVG's hardly every disappear 90 percent of the time they'll be grabbed off a body and that stuff gets hung on to. If you found my groups vehicles/base you would call us dupers even though we literally have more then any of those descriptions that you listed. I'd say we have 5 times the amount you have and its all just been collected legitametly. Not saying those guy aren't duping but your complaining about this loot but your spreading yourself over a few servers looking for this loot I'm not sure whose more wrong

    Helicopters in the game?

It's been 30 minutes...all of our other vehicles have spawned in.
  5. It seems that the first batch of helicopters will be appearing on Sunday according to one of the devs. Oh well this snipers pretty sweet and we've gained the awesome military jeep. Today we've: Lost our primary ATV Gained a bus Regained our primary ATV through the miracle of saving vehicles after they've exploded Tipped the bus on its side (thanks to the same driver that drove our bicycle into the sea) Gained a tractor at the factory Replaced tractor with someones pickup (we later found they didn't like it and left it back in the factory) Lost the pickup Gained a different pickup but left it Gained a jeep And this is why we like DE10 . Just remember we only barter in bicycles.

    CryEngine 3 - Possible?

Outerra is cool, but so far its only visualisation engine with little physics for moving vehicles. It does not have anything like animation/ballistics/net code etc. Therefore using this would require huge amount of work. But, its planned to have 3rd party plugins for physical simulation of almost everything, so somewhere in the future it might be really masterpiece among engines...
  7. Good day everybody. I have a questions regarding this update. What about tents and cars that are in debug forest, will they be destroyed or teleported on the map border? The problem is in hackers who teleporting all vehicles somewhere in debug area and nobody can find it, will we be able to see them on the map again (7 days or something? :)) Is it possible to add some sort of "car teleport detection" ? It can't be normal when car jumps in n km's away just in second, this could give a warning to server admin, it would be very usefull (just an idea). Thank you.

    Bring ACE to DayZ

As far as i'd love to the the A.C.E. features in DayZ 99.9% of the weapons and vehicles are not necessary for the game. If anyone wants to use that stuff they should play A.C.E., you can even use the six updater to load it ( the little arrows on each side of the upper left corner ). ArmA is more than just DayZ, it's BF1-3, CoD, MW and Rambo 1-4 with A.C.E. mod.
  9. I don't know if its only server related, but we found a bug with vehicles. If you damage a car, you can just get out and get in as driver and car is fixed and all in green. Also noticed that cars use much more gas then before, dunno if its intended nerf or bug.

North west part of the map.

I've found that NW is pretty dangerous. People tend to head up to Stary and NWAF from there, and stop off at zeleno first. Also lots of people searching around the borders for camps and vehicles hidden away. You should be fine if you keep your head down and scope out areas you want to head into first.

    Disappearing vehicles?

We have the same problem, our vehicles despawned almost in front of our eyes, around 4:30 - 5pm GMT+2 What's your server?
  12. I know vehicles are admins special pets, and they think because they pay fees they get the perks, but it's becoming some serious game-breaking shit. I just chased a bus all the way round the NW airstrip... anticlockwise. Cover, crouching, watching, waiting. I finally catch up with them at the North Barracks. I crawl in, lose my zombie tail, and take position. Bang. I shoot the tyre, driver is confused and still trying to drive as before. Bang Bang Bang I shoot him in the back of the head and relocate. I wait. Thirty seconds pass, then an AKSU chatters - another two deaths. I wait for the victor to approach the bus. Man I've been hunting for hours to get a better backpack and take my cache of guns to the bean noobs on the coast. It's coming. The stress is still on. The gamble is yet to pay off. I hold my position, covering only my exposed flank and waiting for the last man through the corner of my eye. Session lost. OK. NO IT'S NOT OK FUUUUCK! This shit needs to stop, it's endemic.
  13. Hey everyone, many of the changes in 1.7.2.4 include changes in the way the game communicates with the Hive. These changes require every server to be running the latest version of both the mod & the Hive component, run with BattlEye enabled, as well as a recent beta build (>= 95389). To make sure every server is in sync with the recent developments, we are required to disable older versions of the Hive extension from being functional in the near future, which, at this point, is estimated to occure in about 36 hours from the creation of this thread (subject to change). Tomorrow morning there will be a final wording regarding this subject. The re-introduction of Helicopters is directly affiliated to this change and thus they will not be functional till previous versions of both DayZ as well as the Hive component have deflated, as the changes of the recent patch are mandatory to make them functional. Further testing also showed a small bug in the Hive component, for which we will be releasing a second update for on the server side (0.7.2), which has been made available in the regular distrubtion areas for hosters. Changelog: * [FIXED] Vehicles with ID's above 1 million didn't synchronize. * [FIXED] First object in the database not being loaded. Again I'd like to remind all hosters that running a build that is >= 95389 is required, BattlEye has to be enabled for your server to be fully functional and it is very import that you update your Hive component to the latest version within the next 36 hours.
  14. Whether you're a hardened veteran, or a fresh off the shore newb - everyone can benefit from a couple tips, tricks, and pointers. This post will be dedicated to the giving, and receiving of tips that may change the way you play for the better. Others who have good tips to share are welcome, and those who would like to receive pointers even more so. Hopefully this will be pinned eventually. This is a lawless zone, DO NOT TRUST ANYONE unless you have reason to do so. Other players will, more often than not, kill you at the first opportunity. It doesn't matter if you don't have any gear they need, they will often kill you just for kicks. If someone commands you to "stop", or "stop moving", or "halt" - DO THE EXACT OPPOSITE. They are often just trying to get an easier shot at a target standing still. Serpentine (*run in zig-zags) and head for the closest tree line - DO NOT attempt to take cover behind nearby debris. You will often be a sitting duck while they can advance their position or lure you out with a false sense of security after time has passed. Stick to the tree-line, even when you think you're deep in the middle of nowhere. Never assume that all the other players are somewhere else, or in major cities. You're not, and they may not be either. When you hear shots that are close to you (whiz by, or hit the ground near you) - resist the urge to stop and attempt to pinpoint the direction, or position of the enemy. They already have the jump on you - because 1. You're now confused 2. You're adrenaline starts going 3. They already know where you are - you aren't so lucky. 4. There may be a sniper mil dot on your head the moment you crouch or go prone. I would venture to say 60% of the people who tell you they're "friendly" are not, be on guard, and even if you decide not to engage them - be aware of their actions. Switching weapons, reloading, or even them bringing their gun up to your body or face may be red flags that you need to kill them or be killed. Just because you are nice to someone does not mean they will be nice in return, just because you helped a survivor kill some zombies does not make you BFFs, and there's no indication that he won't turn his gun on you afterwards. Go into every situation prepared - not gear wise. Ready. Go into every residence, market, church, firestation, hangar, or even town EXPECTING players to be armed and ready. Go around every corner like you know there's a player waiting on the other side to ambush you. Go through every door prepared to see someone in the next room. This will make your life a lot easier. The real thing that kills most people aren't the tactical disadvantages, but it's getting comfortable - and not being prepared when shit goes down. Learn the controls newb. Know what your character can do, and how, do not just try to jump into this game and learn as you go - you may be missing something important. No matter how good your gear gets, or what items you aquire...make sure in the back of your mind you remember how easily it can be taken from you - IF YOU GET ATTACHED TO YOUR GEAR: YOU'RE GUNNA HAVE A BAD TIME. All good things must come to an end (probably around 2-4 days IF YOU'RE LUCKY.) Treat everything as temporary, you can get another. Just because you met someone on the forums, does not mean they're trustworthy - people are looking for newbs to set traps for on the forums all the time. If you see a marker on the map entitled "Heli crash site!!", or "Camp site found! lots of loot!" or anything that seems too good to be true? It probably is. Do not investigate unless you have absolutely nothing you don't mind losing. Other people can see markers on your map, do not mark important areas, like where you set up your tent. Others will run up, and you might get done up. Know what the tools do: Flashlight(L): obvious.cmon. Entrenching tool: removes barbed wire, sandbags, and tank traps. Map(M): talks to you and tells Dora the explorer where to go. Tool box: allows you to fix up vehicles, cars, boats, bikes, trucks, and (helicopters), Binoculars( B - : Allow you to scope out an area. Night vision goggles(N): Allow you to perceive things clearly at night without the use of flares, chem-lights, fires, or gamma exploits. Hatchet: allows the cutting of wood for fire. Matches: enable you to make a fire to cook meat on. Hunting knife: allows you to gun meat from animals you kill to cook. Watch(o): allows you to tell what time it is on the server. Compass(k): Allows you to attain your direction. Any others will be apparent. If you die, you body will last (30-40) minutes, if your corpse has not been looted (or hidden by your assailant) you may go back and retrieve your belongings if you make it in time. LEARN THE MAP - it helps to have use a map on the internet, or to have a map open on a second monitor whilst playing. The more you know about the terrain, and geography, the easier you'll find it to do what needs to be done. It is often easier to win 1v1 gunfights in 1st person mode. 3rd person mode can be used to see around corners, and over walls - however - know that your enemy has the same ability. Scope high traffic areas out before you enter them, you may find a sniper on a roof, or a survivor running for dear life through the streets, both are important to be aware of. Learn the sniper spots, and learn how to avoid their effective areas, so that you can avoid them (or sneak up on snipers if that's what you're into (high risky, high reward)) If you "think you might have" seen or heard something - assume you did. Better safe than than standing on that lonely shore once more. Take the high ground whenever the opportunity presents itself, it offers a better vantage point of your surroundings, and anyone who happens to be passing below will likely be looking straight ahead or down a slope, not up it. Freezing up, is the easiest way to get killed in this game, I cannot stress it enough. react fast, and rely on your instincts. Zombies, or Zeds must walk slowly in buildings, and can easily be lost by weaving in and out of tree trunks, shrubbery, or anything else that breaks their line of sight. They will investigate the area, but will lose interest in you fairly quickly. Zombies have about 4500 health, about 3 shots with a pistol - 1 shot for a head-shot instant kill. Players obviously have 12000 health, but one headshot is the end of them too. Learn how much damage guns do, and don't stop unloading into someone until you see their death message, or your murder / bandit kill number rises. They may be playing dead, or simply be unconscious. Learn the ailments and how to alleviate them. For instance, a broken bone - which can be received from gun shot wounds, Mike Tyson-like zombies, falling a distance above waist level, the wind, rain drops, particularly vengeful blades of grass, walking past other players or objects too intimately, or just no reason at all. Can be taken care of with a shot of morphine...because our characters are badass, and they only need a painkilling/sedative to sprint around like marathon runners on shattered bones. Assume everyone on a night server has night vision goggles, don't run around with a flashlight, they can be seen for miles. Don't use flares unless you don't mind being noticed from the moon, and only use chemlights if the situation calls for it. If you get night vision goggles, don't assume you can walk into any major place and loot it because you're the only one. You're not. Helicopter crash sites, and other random spawns are widely sought out - do not assume you're the only one searching, or the only one who's found it. Be prepared to kill, whether it's a player, or 8 zombies that have spawned around the helicopter crash site. Trailing zombies through a town, city, or road will easily get you noticed, not only the movement - but the noise of the zombies will alert other players. Use your weapons sparingly, and tactically, don't put a whole Lee enfeild clip into a walking zombie in the middle of Chernogorsk. Gun fight will put all nearby players on alert. It may scare some, and it may rouse others as to your position. A healthy dose of skepticism will go a long way in this game. Enjoy yourself, play the way that enables you to have the most fun, whether that's getting 5 friends and forming and axe murdering gang, hunting players on the shore, sniping, simply surviving, killing Zeds, or doing crazy things. Don't let anyone tell you the right way to play this game, because that's up to you. My goal is simply to offer tips to those who want them. If you have more tips to add, if I've left important things out, or you've benefited from the tips. Post!
  15. What is Carbon Tactics? CT is a group of like minded individuals who share the same common goal, survival, dominance, protection, and fun. We will be focused on nothing except expanding our numbers with quality players and outfitting them with the best gear we can find. Which in turn allows us to find more people and get them geared. We respect that people play the game how they see fit. We are a Military Structured team. We have missions / overwatch / medic response / assault squads / mechanics. Doing it this way allows everyone to play how THEY want to play and to have the most fun. Do we use group formations? Yes, we move in small groups when on missions with each person performing a specialized role. The 4 roles being.... 1) Sniper/scout (long range shooter) 2) Trooper/recon (heavy infantry assault and/or stealth) 3) Medic (Heals/mends allies and light infantry) 4) Mechanic (finds/repairs/drives vehicles and light infantry) The 5th role is group/squad leader who can perform any of the chosen roles but also influences the direction of the team. What is the point of having small groups/squads? Well this game more than any other game really does reward this military type structure. You have a group Leader who is responsible for direction of the team, where to go, how to approach things. He decides the next move. He should feel responsible for both sucesses and failures of the group. Sniper role) Provides overwatch and is an excellent marksman. This person doesn't go into the city, he watches from afar and alerts to the squad what is going on around them. They are responsible for eliminating, upon command, as many people as needed to make sure the team leaves in one piece. Troopers role) These are the main infantry units who protects the medics/mechanics and attacks/repels any threats. They are who you want with you to get you out of any building. They will push through troves of zombies or a full unit of attackers themselves. They will put their lives on the line when you are in danger. They are also responsible for using stealth (and silenced weapons) for entering a city/hotspot prior to it's takeover and dispatching any hostiles. Medics role) They are in-charge of keeping the squad alive. They focus on holding epi-pins, morphine, bloodpacks, bandages, etc. They have a weapon with some ammo and food, but the others carry the supplies for them so that they can be the most efficient. Mechanics role) Much like a trooper, but he carries a lot of things that others don't and is responsible for maintaining/apprehending vehicles. Thus sacrificing the stopping power of weapons, but gains the power of mobility. Do we help people in need? Their are no rules against helping other people who need it, but it isn't one of our goals. What do we normally do in game? When we are in game, we will ALWAYS be active on some type of mission/task. The most common mission is performing hostile takeovers of cities/hot spots and killing off/looting everyone and everything. Can we give gear to new members? We help when we can and if it's not a serious hinderance to us. If you are with us, then we will make sure that you get geared so that you can play with us and feel like a part of the group. If you have been playing Dayz for a while, you know that gear comes and goes because it's so easy to die in this game. Do we have vehicles and a base? Top priority and the base will be located in a convenient location. Do we kill without reason? Sortve, almost every player in this game, armed with any type of weapon, can be a serious threat. We don't take chances with the lives of our team. And sometimes it is just fun to blast away at unsuspecting people. How do i apply to this Clan? You apply here by answering some basic questions with a few more complex questions that will determine if you are a good fit for this clan. Please be detailed and thought out in your response, a team is only as good as it's members, and i don't want any weak links in this clan. Age - ??? What role are you applying for in this clan - ??? How much experience do you have playing Dayz - ??? Do you have ventrillo and a working microphone - ??? Are you a serious player works well with others and doesn't mess around during missions- ??? -------- 1) You have just respawned near cherno and make it a goal of yours to enter the city to acquire basic supplies. As you get closer you hear multiple gunshots and sniperfire, you notice only 1 person dies. What do you do from here to get in and out as safely as possible? 2) You are playing as a heavy assault role, and as you are running with your 5-man squad near Stary Sobor, you hear a single sniper shot and 1 of your teammates gets killed. What do you do from here (and retreat is never an option)? 3) We are entering the city of elektro to give assistance to a wounded teammate located in the store. You are told their is 1 nearby sniper with range of the store and 2 nearby riflemen, all who are attempting to finish off our comrade. You are in command of a 5 man squad and must help him + eliminate the threat. What are your orders from here? That is all for the application, the better answers you give, the higher the chances you will be accepted. As far as acquiring our own server, it isn't out of the question but i will only consider it if enough members join. For now we will play on multiple servers with a chosen server to be established as our main one. (((Update))) - We are now playing on our own server. Thanks for reading and good luck!

Pretty hard to hide admin abuse when there are over 800 people watching. I was watching too and judging from the ghillies and the gear the admin's were using, it is pretty obvious that they are carebear hoarders. Pretty sure there was some ALT F4Gotry going on as soon as they soon as the bang bus occupants started shooting back, and a server restart when it became obvious they were outnumbered and about to lose their vehicles and gear. in b4 the admin response claiming the restart was automatic and just bad luck for those involved in the firefight.

Yea I was with Dante at the time and also got banned. One of thier clan watched the base and as he saw us more of them logged in. Dante killed one and as they saw him driving thier truck away they banned us both. I didn't fire or get in any vehicles so they either knew I was in the area (no nametags, not sure how) or banned all non-clan members to secure thier base. There were only a few non clan members in the server so I assume this is what they did. Screen of me trying to rejoin after being banned: http://imgur.com/hGRUp Edit: My in game name is Greg.

remove tents completely till they are fixed

Well, if they are removing broken things that are bugged might aswell remove all vehicles, ammo for guns, and the option to exit the game. In other words, no, this is retarded.
  21. Server: DayZ - UK127 (1.7.2.3/94876) (Veteran|3D:ON|CH:OFF) dayzmod.com - ShaBooZey (thats its current name as of posting anyway) Time: 7:50 - 7:52pm BST What Happened: So me (xX-Dante) and a friend (Greg) had recently died and lost our vehicles and were now on the hunt for our vehicles across the north. We found quite a huge stash of vehicles in the north which we recognise from having seen it a few days before where we had stolen some of the vehicles. After waiting for my friend to catch up to me as we had separated to cover more ground we spot a guy sat at a tree staring straight at us. We both take cover and at this point I disconnected with the BattlEye message "Ping Too High". Not so bad I thought as no shots had been fired. I logged back in and started firing at this guy who had been watching us. He gets a good shot on me taking me to 6k health so I hide behind a tree and bandage. As I'm doing this he runs close to the vehicles and another guy ([sBZY] Thor) spawns in next to me so I killed him with my m4 sd. Obviously giving away my position to the original guy who was now searching for me on the other side of the tree, I decide to jump into the nearest car and drive away, Shots are fired at the car hitting the metal and smashing the rear glass of the pickup. Then all of a sudden "Banned" across the screen and the same for my friend who will probably reply to this post. Album link: http://imgur.com/a/IrsHe One image shows the banned screen during the getaway. One shows me trying to rejoin, and third shows the server list screen with the MOTD for the shaboozey server right before the notice telling me i'm still banned.

For those looking for a different way of playing

Howdy Insaner, 1) It's all very much in its infancy as of now, but I'm not looking so much to form a clan with a solid base as I am hoping to develop a "ranger force" that consists of people following the same creed (in fact, I see that happening all over with various vigilante groups running radio stations, hospitals and what have you) - the only reason I'm asking to add the tag ([Regulator]) to your name is to build awareness: the more times people see a player doing good and carrying his "badge" with pride, the more they will start to associate the Regulators as a trustworthy group. 2) KoSsing is a complicated subject - we need to understand that people have no trust and will almost always shoot on sight when met. Building this trust will take time and sacrifice and not everybody who joins the cause will be there at the end just because it'll be frustrating and hard to get there and turning back to blowing people away will just seem as the easier path. For me, the solution has been simple so far - stay out of sight. In the original thread I already wrote some of the things I've been trying (observe common ambush areas and use global channel or direct talk to warn people off, interrupt firefights by popping rounds/flares to distract the combatants etc), but I'm sure there are dozens of other ways that resourceful players will find as well. That being said, I don't mind dying for somebody (actually, with my current gear, I'd mind a little) - it's easy to scavenge decent gear in an hour and get back to business. As a rule of thumb, I try to make a difference between a scared survivor airing me out with a doublebarrel and a camping bandit popping anybody that wanders into his LOS. 3) Like I said, I don't believe in fixed bases - this game enables amazing movement and the power of an effective force is in that - moving light and calling your brothers to help out when possible. In my vision, the Regulators would be such a force - nimble, resourceful and not tied down to any location. You play the game as you used to, looting what you can and when you meet with your brothers, resupply them while they supply you back. And yes, if we locate a bandit base where they hide all their loot, we'd ride that sonovabitch down, use their vehicles to flatten their tents before blowing them up and then vanish back to wherever we came from. 4/5) So far, I'm just trying to get this thing off the ground - there are no websites, member rosters or such. I'm not the best guy to run those either, so any potential Regulators willing to do some admin work should let me know. Same goes with teamspeak - me and my buddies have been using just a steam voice chat so far but I have no idea how to run something large scale from a tech standpoint. :D Man, long-ass post again...in closing, I'd like to point out that I don't want to be a boss, a general or a dictator. Even if people liked this idea and the Regulators had 5000 members some day, I'd still play on my own style and would come to the forums or campfires to hear the stories on how my brothers have been helping out to make this place a better experience for everybody (including the bandits). -O
  24. I just saw the changelog auf 1.7.2.4 and noticed that the respawn button is now disabled as long as you don't have a fracture. I guess instant respawning at the beach to find the desired spot is gone now?..I got one last lucky time then. [story] Me and my mate just both respawned after encountering several player on our loot route, so we both had nothing. I restarted in Solnichy and he came running from Krutoy Cap so we could team up again. After finding a hatchet, jarry can and minor stuff I went on north. Just after leaving Solnichy and passing the bridge, I see something at the fuel station: A GAZ. It was my 8th car I found or so, thats why it wasn't something great and new, but it's always a joyful suprise. So I ran up to it, just to see, that it's almost fully repaired, only fuel and fueltankparts were missing. With the jarry can I just found I fill up the GAZ, hop in and catch up my friend, then continuing to the factory above solnichy. Luckily, the first thing we find in the high yield building at the top were fueltankparts, we both were very happy, totally repaired the car and drove off to Berezino. it was a pleasant suprise to get a fully repaired car just after ~15 minutes into the game. After looting the military tents in Berezino, we continued to krasnostav, goind for supermarkets in order to find backpacks. We found 2 ALICE Packs and 1 czech backpack and took all the food and resources we could find. Already this was a very lucky find. While being in the back of the supermarket we hear a mysterious noise - something like wind, but kinda disturbing. While my friend keeps looking through the bags, I slowly go to the front of the shop to check the noise. In a short note: We were on a very low server with only 8 players (including us) online. And then I see: a big bus just passing the supermarket. I didn't even realize that I had parked the car in front of the shop and just tried to hide myself inside the shop, because I thought they were gonna loot it, in order to shoot them with the Ak 74 Kobra I just found. I really didn't want to die. After like 2 seconds, 2 guys dropped from the bus, the driver kept going left and drove off. Before I realised what was going on and alerted my friend, they got into our car, and drove off. I rushed out of the shop and tried to shoot at them, but it was pretty pointless. 1 second later my friend arrived at the backdoor and shot a few times, but both vehicles were gone short after. After being really pissed off for being so point out stupid and because half of the other players on the damn server had to be at our point we thought cleverly: The only point of intrest these assholes could be going (since they went right) could be the olsha airstrip. So we head of the street and turn left the first street to get to the airstrip. After a short while and being on the same lvls as the hangar, my friend notices something on the street, and then we both see a big dustcloud : The 2 guys with our car came driving to our position. Instantly we both get off the road and fire 1 mag each onto the drivers seats. They drive of the street to the hangar-side and one player gets out, lying on the ground. This stupid action of him cost him his live ins econds, because he couldn't really see us ontop of the roadhill, be I could easily shoot him and so I did. Cause of the done dmg and low offroad speed of the GAz we keep following it pass the airstrip, down the hill. After we arrive at it's guessed location, we see it standing there, and again, I realized too late that he jsut got out and waited for us to come - I get shot. Raging a bit I tell my freind his position, he sees him, fires a few shots from his AKM, breaks his bones, but also dies from the first shot from our enemies AS50. But I didn't give up. I respawned in komarova first, then respawned again to find myself in solnichy. Having nothing to lose I head up to berezino, find another AK with 1 mag in the tents and keep running directly to Olsha airstrip. After a few mintues I arrive at the first corpse of the player I shot. I loot him quickly jsut to find out he had an M14 AIM, GPS, rangefinder, nvg. I take the good stuff and head to my corpse immediatly. Half way through I hear gunshots and see Zombies running to 2 player who are fighting ontop of the hill. I instantly crough down and start to fire. They keep looking around, but can't see me anywhere. After 5-8 shots the right one sinks down - but is still alive as I got no murder nor bandit kill, the other one heads down the hill. Approching the dead player carefully, I find out they came here with the bus (as I thought when running here) and the player I wounded died from blood loss. He was the one holding the AS 50 and an m9 sd. I didn't loot him first, but rather looked for the 2nd player, I couldn't find him anywhere, I guess he disconnected out of fear (they didn't know I came alone with no equip). I loot the dead player quickly, get into the bus and drive of some place away to inspect it and meet up with my mate again. Sadly I lost our car with lots of medical supply, but found 2 AK 74 Kobra with ammo in the bus! I drove off, met with my friend and we both decided to take a break after he geared up with the stuff from the bus. As a conclusion I can say that these bandits were rather stupid, driving the car back to our position and staying on the airstrip for too long (maybe waiting for their dead mate) [/story] Now the discussion: I respawned 3 times to get to solnichy, which is now prohibited by the disabled respawn button. Do you think disabling was a good idea or do you also think it's kinda annoying because it's even harder now to meet up with mates after respawning / to respawn near to each other? I guess it prevents the speed of respawning, but you can still kill yourself by taunting many Zombs or drowning instead. Was my behaviour "okay" to do?

    Weapon Damage Re-upped

Oh, you're one of those people. Obviously trying to debate you will be pointless as you invalidate your own posts. You originally didn't say that there would be no "1shot kill weapons" in your perfect world. But hey, in your world there wouldn't have high explosives, sniper rifles, high caliber weapons, headshots, vehicles, or small rocks for that matter. All those can '1shot' you. Infact, while we are at it, let's take out PvP because that gets players killed. And zombies, too, those are dangerous as well. And let's stop players from being able to respawn, move or even look around, because they could potentially hurt themselves. Oh but what is this? My sig. Read it. Damn people are stupid.
