Has anyone else been having super glitchy vehicles on livonia. Ive lost 3 cars on the map already in the last 3 days ill be driving along in the middle of the road then boom im thrown sideways and hit that one random tree on the side of the road. Is it reallty that bad chenarus doesnt do that to me.. anymore its still a bit glitchy. by the way i play private server idk if it matters.

Have you noticed that the consumption of weapons, tools, shoes is simply "absurd" (not slightly out of the norm). Have you noticed that the doll eats like a pack of wolves but never becomes obese? Plants that grow, flower, fruit, wither and rot in a few hours?!? To mention the most glaring absurdities, but also other things "completely out of reality" impact the realism of the game much more than a bit of inertia in moving a weapon. The setting up of tents, fences, the general management of vehicles (as well as their behavior), the cold (very different clothes = minimal difference), the damp (waterproof clothes should remain dry... only matches suffer the humidity), etc... And do you mind the "poor inertia" of movement of the weapons?!? Did you notice everything else?!? No bother at all?!? I do not understand... 🙄 😕 😞

But haven't you yet realized that this (beautiful, unfortunately) game is a very complex arcade that passes itself off as "realistic"... but that in reality it is just a very complex arcade that is becoming more and more "arcade FPS" ?!? There's no point in complaining about a "realistic inaccuracy" when everything else is absurd, grotesque and out of all reality! Just think about the consumption of materials, shoes, equipment... the infinite hunger of the puppet who seems to have a tapeworm in his stomach... and the impossibility (on purpose, unfortunately) of putting the curtains where they are needed (the curtain I need it in a deserted forest with uneven terrain, not on a road or in a square... Developers: have you ever been camping in the woods and NOT on a beach? Have you ever seen a tent pitched uphill ? and on bumps and ditchs?!? I assure you that in RL it is possible!!!), same thing with the fences... but also the management of the vehicles (which still don't work!!!) but think about your car: when you enter you don't the pockets or backpack disappear (which should be removed and placed on the back seats, not held on your back to go beyond the seat) and from the car you can drink, eat, shoot out the windows, lean out of the windows and shoot (many games do this , it's NOT impossible!), I'd light a cigarette and smoke, if one drives, the others can do maintenance on their weapons, take care of themselves, feed themselves... in RL it's NORMAL!!! In this game it is IMPOSSIBLE!!! And many other things that don't come to mind right now. I understand that an "unrealistic recoil" could be annoying, but... in the meantime I remember that DayZ should NOT be a "War FPS", but a complex game about "survival from a pandemic"... therefore the "realism of weapons " (although important anyway) should NOT be in first place... first there should be everything related to "survival"... hunting, fishing, makeshift constructions, repairs, recovery of materials and restoration of equipment, shelters, etc ...THAT should be the primary focus of the game developers' care... However, I understand that even imperfect "weapon accuracy" can be annoying... but how serious can a "grain of sand in the eye" be when EVERYTHING else is moribund? And the "doctors", instead of serious treatments, cyclically offer handbags, hats and theater masks?!? My 5 cents.

Vehicles don’t work well in this game. They probably need to do a lot of work to add any function like this. I don’t even bother getting in vehicles. You have no way to defend yourself.

CONSTRUCTION: - Adding a doorway kit that fits in doorways of houses. - Adding window frame kit that fits inside windows of houses TOOLS: - Adding a chainsaw and chainsaw fuel. Only spawns in rare industrial locations. Verry loud when turned on. 1. Can be used as a faster tool for gathering planks and cutting down trees. 2. Can be used to raid wooden fences and gates. Vehicles: - Adding vehicle improvements with an vehicle workbench that are static at garages or other workshop locations. To use the vehicle workbench you will need a new type of tool, the toolbox. - Using metal sheets to improve certain car parts such as doors or bumper. Improving you're bumper with sheet metal will lower the damage taken to the car in a crash or when getting shot at.

DayZ boasts it's huge map as a pro. Yet the only feasible way to travel is by foot. No one plays this game to break their W and Shift key. Why aren't developers racing to fix cars and add other methods of transportation such as bikes and helicopters?

We have a map with paved roads on hills, but the vehicles haven’t the power to navigate them. Every vehicle should be able to make it up paved roads on an incline, in first gear. I propose, vehicles could build up torque while the acceleration is active. This would allow them to make it up the roads on hills. It would even allow for spinning the tires (burnouts), which most audiences want more on vehicles when exiting a vehicle in 3rd person, the camera dips into the car. On certain terrain, this causes the character to fall thru the map. Consider remove forward aft camera bobbing when driving vehicles in first person. vehicles are far to fragile, consider the performance lag, the console cannot run DayZ smoothly. Driving is far to problematic with these fragile vehicles headlights project no peripheral illumination . vehicle engine noise, as heard by the player is a little too loud in 3rd person. Dropped by perhaps 25% or more, the sound may feel more realistic. It’s easily understood that infected hear vehicles, without them sounding so loud to the player. Frankly, aren’t they a big enough target already? consider placing a thin white damage bar under the existing vehicle hud display, which decays to depict body damage. Currently players write in communities with confusion, as to why a vehicle just started smoking while having serviceable components.
