Fallujah not spawning Vehicles [HFB on Vilayer Hive]

I have a server with HFB. They've teamed with Vilayer and are using Vilayer's hive and server files. It's been two days and my server refuses to spawn vehicles. I made a ticket about it... reply was "may take up to two days" to spawn vehicles, which is bullshit... I've run 3 different servers, with different mods and run a home server... none ever took more than 3-4 hours to spawn vehicles. I've tried contacting HFB again, to no avail. I just want some bloody vehicles. This is getting annoying as all hell. Is there anyway for me to fix it or do I have to wait for HFB to see my ticket, contact Vilayer, wait for Vilayer to see that, and make the corrections. I don't understand why they couldn't just go through with their own Fallujah they had in the works with Pwnz0r. Fucking annoying shit. -
So, if I set up barbed wire across a road, and a vehicle (car, Motorbike, truck, bicycle) drives over it, will it stop or break or something? The ambush potential is too great for me not to ask this question! Thanks

Hi guys, been playing dayz for about a month now and love it but my group that plays are starting to get a little bored with having to spend half their time finding and repairing a vehicle. The map is simply too big to fully enjoy on foot, I don’t want to use hack maps but don’t mind a server that has a few little tweeks like extra equipment at the start. I have found a couple of decent servers but as soon as I’m settled in to one it either gets password locked or its linked to some kind of mod that I don’t have. It’s a great game though and I know it’s never really gonna be a pick up and play kinda game but I just want a server that is a bit easier to get up and running on. -
Anyone remember when DayZ was a fun game? Remember .55? It was a mess, but it was FUN! I remember the trains of cows running around, and Zeds just running them in circles. It was silly as shit. The weapons were unbalanced as hell. It was all about the shotgun! Later when vehicles were first introduced, they were pretty good. Now the game is just overly complicated, hit zones and bone systems. The whole addition of consoles to the mix and the controller change and moving vehicles server side, really took a lot of the fun out of the game. I recently reloaded up Arma 2 DayZ. Joined a wicked server with about 40 players and HAD A BLAST! It was FUN. Stupid fun even, vehicles actually worked. The graphics were terrible. Weapon usage was incredibly fun. yeah, shit glitched out from time to time, but that authentic DayZ feeling is still embedded in the soul of THAT game. Most of the survival mechanics we have now were not there, but that was not the point of the original DayZ. It wasn't about survival, it was about experiencing a game that was fundamental and raw. When Standalone was announced and eventually hit .55 it had THE Authentic feeling, even though it didn't even achieve parity to the Mod.

Alright guys im just going to go outright and say it that the current vehicle system is just awful. Basically with every single damned server owned by massive clans now and vehicle hoarding becoming ridiculous me a regular player who plays with just my one friend it is near impossible to actually get any vehicles especially the useful ones such as ural jeeps etc. Now i get that the vehicles are supposed to be rare and everything but i think having only a couple of vehicles per server is not the way to go. With the low amount of vehicles it seems the only way to actually get any vehicles is to join up with a clan instilling a mob mentality that just results in more vehicle hoarding. This wouldn't even be so bad except for the admin abuse where if i ever do manage to find a vehicle someone has hid (seeing as they never actually spawn anymore) the server just gets restarted by butthurt admins and i lose it again. So basically my solution is that we implement a lot more vehicle spawns but we take away the majority of gas tanks. This is going to make for a much better experience if you ask me and make people a lot smarter about how they use their vehicles at the same time. The lower amount of gas is also going to create more pvp hotspots which i guess is going to be good or bad depending on how you play the game but i personally like the idea of this seeing as no one even bothers to go up north anymore. anyway tell me what you guys think tldr: more vehicle spawns less gas spawns.

I rented a private server for HFB a couple of days ago and, like many others, I didn't see any vehicles on Day 1. So I read through alot of the posts here and figured that I'd be patient and wait a few days to see if things start happening vehicular-wise. After Day 6, and no vehicles to be seen, I started taking a look at the server logs to see if I could grok out whether or not the server was posting info regarding the vehicles after the daily reboot. Here is what I'm seeing at around the time the first of us logged into the server. So, I can see that my server is spawning vehicles, but only a handful. Here's my question: Should I be seeing all of the vehicles spawn at the same time, map-wide? Or do they trickle in as they're discovered and then get saved and spawned at server reboot like the tents are? -Seth US296

No Unlimited Drink using the drop bug No Unlimited Build Items No Unlimited Med Items No Unlimited Tents pinch No Unlimited Ammo on skin change Debug Monitor actually works when turned on Smoke and Flames for player controlled heli crashes Proper Vehicle Damage. No more auto-repair No Body Duplication on Exit No Fuel Reset on Save No Backpack Reset or Duped on Skin Change Fixed Broken Legs Bug on Skin Change (Legs would magically be fixed Can't dupe items from zombies, animals, or backpacks. Fixed Unlimited Food/Drink while in vehicle. So come try it out. It will be up 24/7. It will be fast loading(With a few exceptions to the BlissHive limitations when the server has been up for a few hours) with minimal lag I follow the same rules that as official DayZ servers. Hey guys. I've had a Lingor Island server set up for a couple of weeks now. We've got a bunch of enthusiastic people already calling it home, and I'd like to increase our population by inviting everyone to join us. I'm renting a monster of a dedicated machine, so the login times and lag are almost non-existent. 8 cores, 16gb of RAM, and hopefully an SSD next month if donations keep going the way they have been. I've banned over 2 dozen people for attempting to script. I'm using all custom exceptions and monitoring tools to keep the skiddies out. I've added the Lingor Units mod (found here[1] ) to spice things up a bit. There are a bunch of Police APCs and armored jeeps running around right now, as well as a MiG trainer jet and a Cessna prop plane. There's a bunch of other stuff too, but I don't want to give away all the surprises. Speaking of vehicles, I currently have between 70 and 80 in the server at any given time. This includes 3 helicopters. I've changed all of the vehicle spawn points to custom locations to encourage actual exploration instead of just using dayzdb or something. I've been spending 20-30 hours a week on server related stuff, and have gotten a ton of positive feedback for being an active admin. I reboot the server 2 or 3 times a day to keep the login and respawns quick, but even after being up for 12+ hours it's still faster than most servers (20-30 seconds at the most) to log in or respawn. I'm very open to suggestions about tweaking things to make it more fun. I enjoy a challenge, so the difficulty is currently on Veteran, with 3rd person enabled but crosshairs off. Personally I hate 3rd person, but it's the most popular option. This is rapidly turning into a wall of text, so I'll try to wrap it up. We've had a couple of events on the server controlled by myself and a few friends. Assassination missions, airstrikes, and other stuff. It's been a lot of fun. I hope to do one this evening if we can get enough people to make it worthwhile. One more thing; I have sole access to the database, and I am extremely proud of the integrity and trustworthiness that I am known for. I will never exploit this access like some other servers for personal gain. I do not view the coordinates of vehicles, tents, or players. I also do not edit my inventory or the inventory of any other players (exceptions include donators and special events). I will never kick you for killing me. I will never roll back the server if you find my tent. I hear nightmares about admins on other servers, and have experienced it personally. I hope you'll give the server a shot. I plan on running a Chernarus or Takistan/Fallujah map if we get enough people to fill it. Happy Hunting! TL;DR: We have an awesome Lingor server. you require tunngle, after install of tunngle to go to community-networks-private networks and enter username: dayzhiveprivate password: dayz open up OA and go to mulitplayer and enter LAN server will be there :) no hacking please will result in ban if i think you are good then i make you mabye an admin and allow you some privileges ;) server isnt dedicated so recommend only British nationals or people in Ireland or near in Europe . server is up between 4pm and 10pm and occasionally longer or shorter. hope to see you there!!! -
I was driving my white offroad pickup truck in the middle of the road and a zombie ran in front of me...I ran over him, only to find my engine went red, the front right wheel blew out and the hull is red. Also, the windscreen exploded [all of it]. Why...

I wish vehicles were saved to character instead of server

I kinda wish this or some other method to prevent griefing whilst afk. I was considering taking some time away from searching out and killing anyone I see and burying their body so nobody can take their loot. But whats the point. Ill spend hours collecting the gear and repairing it. Have a good nights sleep and then reconnect to the server tomorrow and someone will have stolen and/or destroyed it already. I guess Ill just go back to coast camping since everything else will just be a waste of my time. -
If a fatigue system is introduced it would make traveling across the country longer and more dangerous. Do you think that would make people use vehicles a little bit more?

So I see all these servers with 50+ vehicles I am completely clueless how to do this I've looked for a few hours but can't find anything. I have a private hive through hfb servers and they aren't any help. Can someone please help me out and tell me what to edit, or where to find it. Any help is appreciated. Edit; the server has a feature that shows what vehicles are spawned, it says there are on 18 vehicles on the map, and nothing even interesting, only a few cars and trucks.

hi I was going through my logs to see if the huey had spawned or if someone flipped it into the sea. Thing is, for both hilux, the s1203, the landrover and some ATVs there are no positions given by the hive. There are no entries given like : 0:45:42 "HIVE: WRITE: "CHILD:###:#######:[###,[x.x,y.y,z.z]]:0:"" havent they just not spawned yet or is there some other reason for this? Also we found a I think its a Lada or a Skoda, but it doesnt fit the Skoda in the wiki. It looks brandnew and its white, not blue/rusty-red. Hacked car maybe?

Okay guys, i usually play on this server, nothing special. My group and I are now looking for a few vehicles. We had the chopper for an evening, at some point, but was lost due to hackers. What I am asking, we have been around the whole map in hopes of finding a few, any will do. We have not seen or heard the chopper since that day, but we found a few tractors and bikes. If you park them out of the map, that black bordewr that runs along the map, will they stay there? Because they are really gone. We do not want to hoard them all or anything, but the van is quite cool, and so is the white pickup. Can someone clarify?

When I find a vehicle, all its parts are in the red and it needs a lot of work to get it running. I often replace the fuel tank, the engine, and most or all of the wheels, plus some scrap metal to strap onto the frame to hold the whole thing together. It's in bad shape, is what I'm saying, but it can be salvaged. Then, a couple km down the road, some jerk puts three 12.7mm bullets or a half-magazine of 5.45 AK ammo through it and it's a flaming hulk, totally unsalvageable. What the actual fuck? It should be possible to disable vehicles by shooting them, absolutely. It should also be possible to repair vehicles that have been disabled by gunfire. This GTA kablooie vehicle health needs to go. Finding cars at their spawns and being able to fix them is great. Finding shot-up cars by the side of the road and being able to fix them up would also be great. Just boost the "hull" by about 1000%. Shooting at a car would disable it in the normal amount of time/shots, then you'd see the passengers pile out and the fight would be resolved in the normal way. At that time, the car would still be enterable, the car's inventory would still be accessible, and the car could still be patched up as usual. Maybe it takes some more scrap metal to get the hull back up to 100%, but it doesn't magically transform into a flaming wreck that's no good to anybody. This would reduce the number of cars at regular spawns, but having a car that's in the red in one or more categories respawn in its default derelict state after just two days, regardless of saving, could get around that handily.

This has came across me alot recently whille playing the DayZ map Fallujah, I've been running around looking for vehicle parts ( Mostly car wheels ) and I kept thinking "Why can't we find other vehicles that could be fixed up a bit and take the parts of it such as the car wheels or windscreen glass" ( I'm not sure about Engine Parts, Fuel tank parts or Fuel ) Maybe this could also be another use for the tool box? I don't know, what do you guys and girls think about this idea?

So ummm, I'm not clear no how cleanup of destroyed vehicles works to the fullest extent. As I understand any vehicles in debug area will be removed and randomly spawned at their spawn locations. But what about when say, a helicopter crashes on the sea? Got hacked today, and had to ditch my Huey in the ocean. He still got me naturally(teleported to coast and put a .50 cal in me). But even after several server restarts the crashed heli remains underwater... its not being removed or respawning anywhere... just sits there. You need to go prone on the coast to see it, as it is entirely submerged. Is there any mechanism in place to deal with vehicles in such situations? If no, should we expect it(as it makes perfect sense) Also, what can I do in this situation? any way to "remove it"... as the way I know is to just hose down a vehicle with bullets until it dissapears, then it will go back to the vehicle spawn cycle...
