  1. Try and blow them up in the water, I noticed that vehicles often times are still in working condition so a restart doesn't work. May sound like the opposite of what you want to do, but you could try joining a hacker forum and ask them to TP your vehicles out... They aren't all as dickish/childish as you think. Just make your intentions clear that you only want vehicles messed with... I don't endorse this idea, but it's always on the table.

I tricked a exploiter I met on a server named [sSB] - Troy (Something like that) I was running north from kamenka to zelgengorsk while walking in a forest with a zombie following me I heard tiny little gun shots and I instantly turned around and saw the zombie get dropped and because this guy is a bad shot he also shot me (nothing fatal). The guy talked to me over direct communication and I also did and he said "Woah! Dude are you okay sorry didn't mean to shoot you." and I replied "Do you have any bandages I have none and I need a blood bag as I have low blood." All of which were lies but he gave me the stuff. He then said I will follow you, where are you heading? I replied saying North-West airfield my friends are up there guarding our vehicles and our fully stocked up tents. All of which are lies once again. He then said okay I'll give you a lift and run into the forest and I thought I lost him which I was sad about I did want his AS50 and coyote backpack but then he reappeared with a working pick-up truck. We were driving to the north-west airfield and I knew he just wanted to kill all my made-up teammates and raid my un-real tents. then we stopped somewhere and refilled and I was meant to "Guard" in which I translated to open his backup and take his shit. I found a little makarov which I stored in my back-pack and then into the car for later uses. We eventually arrived at the North-West airfield in which I shoved the pistol into my back-pack and ran into the woods with him metres behind. I went through some trees and went prone and pulled out the Pistol. When he followed where I originally went I shot him, and shot him again, and again, and again, and again until he was dead. So after that I looted his body and now have a Coyote Back-pack, AS50, NVGS, Rangefinders many other tools and a sweet pick-up truck. If you guys want to see the Bandit then visit the server UK 355 I now have a camp on that server but none of you can find it.

    UK 206 Server Thread

    Do the people that have admin rights have some sort of skype/other direct msg program i can reach you on? I'd love to be able to instantly report hacking/teleporting of vehicles/players to you guys. It's not that you're not quick to react, but you're not always easy to reach, you're doing one hell of a job fighting these hackers though, i'm impressed!

    All vehichles teleported into the sea.... Help Please !!!

    If that doesn't work... all I can say is... Welcome to DayZ where the hackers have more control then an admin.... Only other option is to wait 7 days for the vehicles to reset in the Hive and/or MAYBE and this is a VERY VERY big maybe... contacting the DayZ Staff, give them your location ID I believe and they MIGHT and they is a VERY VERY small might be able to do a reset on vehicles for you where the Z coord is a negative number.

    Where is all cars?

    90% of all the vehicles on my server have been teleported into the sea. A friend was driving the UAZ then got teleported 9k into the sea and saw every other vehicle in the sea with him!! Anyone got any ideas how i can delete these vehicles and get them to spawn again?

Anyone got any suggestions on how I can delete these vehicles and get them to spawn again?? Thanks!
  7. The players name is Suck it and he is teleporting to people, killing them & has spawned all vehicles in one place. He is using god mode also the sad fu#@

    Where is all cars?

    If you have a new server with an instance ID over 10,000 you won't have vehicles spawn with the new patch. The Dayz dev team can fix this, but they won't.

    Where is all cars?

    the day after the new patch was released most servers that updated to the most recent version had script kiddies come in and teleport all vehicles away from there normal spawns. We have been spending the past week trying to locate where the vehicles had been teleported to.

New server, older more stabil beta version, less features? if your talking about the flashlight, its a matter of security vs shoulder light, bugs = same as before, BUT no DB bugs anymore bliss is by far less buggy then saintly, when you get it setup like its suppose to be. it has all the dayz and lingor bugs, but right now, Saintly has that buggy crap vehicle script. they tryed nailing persistant damage and failed horribly. cars randomly blowing up and dissappering for no reason. Sanctuary was better then saintly is now tbh. one other thing, bliss tests all the stuff more then saintly ever did. sure its still buggy, but its the dayz and lingor bugs we are dealing with here, not some new bugs caused by a dodgy software and a DB that was never ment to be setup like that :) all we can do is wait for the devs of both dayz and lingor, to correct the bugs. for me at least, Bliss = insanely more stabil and easier to update, since you dont have to copy paste all the files every time, pretty much. another plus for bliss is, saintly is comming to a halt now. it will get minor updates, but it will not be fast and it will not be radical in anyway. if you wanna give it a go, i'd be happy to help you ava :) forgot to mention the most important thing, the DB runs all the time with bliss, as a seperate program, meaning even if the server crashes people dont loose loot or vehicles. :)

    You mean the score board? There's number of killed people, vehicles, tanks and aircrafts. Times you died and your overall score. Doesn't really mean anything in this mod. They are mostly for normal Arma. And you can view the stats anytime ingame with I -key.

    Tents Fixed?

    While it does seem that tents are fixed, I don't think vehicles are. Me and my brother had an offroad pickup and a sedan, and when we logged back in they were both gone. Our tent was still there untouched. It is possible that someone found it and stole the vehicles but didn't see the tent, but I don't estimate that to be too likely.
  16. Its not about the gear at all, i died in some occasions and i always re-geared and had fun doing so. What i mean is that from all the pvt HIVES out there, i didnt expect this to happen at RINAUN'S. The TIME that i invested playing in the server was simply wiped. Also, a week or so ago, RINAUN'S just stopped the use of WAYPOINTS, and alot of people lost their tents and vehicles because of that, as it would be almost impossible to return to them even if you had a general sense as to where they were. Then nightime was removed and now its back again, like -"i had a g17, but i threw it away because they removed nightime, but now its back again, grrr "- see what i mean? Im not complaining, just making a point as to PVT HIVE can be as unstable as official HIVE, even more so because is subject to so many tests and tweaks from ADMINS.
  17. I've invested quite some time in building our private hive. With personal stats, inventory and personal map (on the website) I've seen a great amount of little stories on my server. People like that there is actually someone who listens to them and can help them directly. Currently I'm working on a event and trading system that is connected with the website. Tents and vehicles throughout the last patches worked for us because we made it work by fixing the problem directly and didn't wait around for another patch. The fix was so easy and it pains me to see how slow dayz devs where with reacting. So now we are at 89k players in the last 24h. That means a lot of servers are obsolete now and I have a feeling that after the first re-hype of the standalone things will go downhill fast if rocket and his team don't value the time players put into the mod. I personally accept the alpha argument. But that doesn't mean that the hours that people put into the game only to see it being lost after the next server restart or hacker attack can easily be brushed away. I mean u can. But do it a lot and people will stop giving a fuck eventually.
  18. You assume an awful fucking lot don't you? When is the last time you seen a fully geared bandit running through cherno? I'll give you a hint, you don't. And if you do it's pretty damn rare. They sit outside the city in the acres of land the surround cherno/electro and snipe from the hills, mostly with duped AS50's and scripted AS50 TWS's. Even if the off chance they get killed they have a tent full of duped gear anyway and just go right back to what they were doing before, killing fresh spawns who are still enjoying the game, and loot, surviving. And don't dare try to say "Durr but I wasn't referring to duping bandit, I'm not one!" Good for you. But 99.9% of the bandit population in the games uses duping and openly admit it, it is effectively a broken mechanic of the game that will be used until fixed so trying to take that out of the equation is changing the game ENTIRELY because the game would be different without that aspect. This is the game, you can't pretend people play one way and make it so, just because you say it. Without duping people would be forced to scavenge when they re-spawned. Everyone would be running into each other with makarovs. Unfortunately though, unlike you I'm not going to pretend the game is in a state it isn't and just ignore that the majority of the population effectively cheats by duping and is pretty damn open about it. You open you're eyes and stop acting like an ignoramus. What about the survival aspect? needing water and food to stay alive, the sound and sight mechanic which changes when you move in shadows or at night or depending on if you are walking on gravel or grass. What about sickness? What about the temperature mechanic? what about the unique medical perspective of how you need allies to heal you with blood bags? What about how loot and vehicles work, working in rarity into an FPS isn't easy and he did a good job aside from cheating and hacking exploiting it. All those things listed and more have been added just for DayZ and it's only a fucking mod. You are comparing a full fledged MMO to a mod a guy made himself for a game. You're perceptive is FUCKED, you can't judge everything on the same playing field, why do you think they are making there own damn standalone? For a MOD this is a damn SANDBOX. He took Arma and turned it into something even more amazing and you want to trivialize it like "oh it's just some game mechanics that aren't that great". Funny how you seem to be the only one who thinks it isn't a sandbox, mmo sites certainly think it is, gamespot, pretty much every site that recommends it. I know it's the most sandbox like fps mod I have ever heard of, let alone played. What the shit are you ranting on about? This game gives you the ability to decide what is rewarding and profitable for you. If it is rewarding for me to never equip a weapon and run from every zombie I see then that is what I'll do. If it's rewarding for me to carry only a side arm then I'll do it. If it's rewarding to me as a person to help people, that's what I will do. The only things I can't ignore are those that will kill me for sure eg: eating, drinking. There are very very few mechanics in this game that MAKE you do things, it is your choice. Hell you could decide to play only without eating or drinking, that may be fun for you to see how far you get, there are no objectives in this game, only to survive as long as you can or as long as you see fit. Hell I have even seen a guy post about playing the game like it was real life. He would stand behind the counter and ask "Do you need medical assistance?" at the hospital. He had some pretty funny stories. Some people decide they will try to police, some people decide to be medics, some decide to be murderers, some decide to be bandits, some decide to be hoarders, some decide to be minimalists. I determine what is profitable to me. The game does not, the mechanics don't support only wielding an axe and chasing people who will probably kill you but people do that anyway, because they can, because its profitable to them. The only profit you get from ANY GAME is enjoyment, and if you enjoyed yourself you have been rewarded in full. How you determine what that is, is not up to YOU or the game mechanics, it's up to the individual whose playing. So stop telling me the best way to play this game because that is my choice. You can judge me all you want for it, but you can't tell anyone that the game should be played any certain way. Mr. Hall monitor. If you like military gear then then killing players with said gear will obviously be rewarding for you. Do you not understand what a rule is? it's not some fucking optional thing, it's a rule. There are no rules that say I can't shoot you in the leg and immobilize you rather than kill you, there are no rules that state if I don't shoot everyone I sight I will suffer. They just don't exist. If the majority of people in the game were friendly that would make it a lot easier to survive and would change the entire dynamic of the game. Would it be rewarding? Hell yeah co-operation on a grand scale would yield great loot for everyone and increase survival. But the community doesn't want that because they like competition more than co-operation. Which is fine, the game is suspenseful because you could get shot at any moment. The community creates the entire atmosphere of chernarus. More friendly people and the game changes, more aggressive people and the game changes again. It's a mentality that isn't set in stone and one day a majority of people could change there minds, or not. But if they did it would COMPLETELY change the game and how it is played wouldn't it? It has no downside. Shooting people on sight has it's benefits and depending on how you want to play you way them against the cons of shooting someone on sight. "what if he has friends?" In every aspect. If you see someone and are out of position and don't shoot they either see you and shoot you with the upper hand or you shoot them. Example: You see a guy and shoot him, you had the advantageous position and took him out. What are the risks?: Attracting to much attention, giving away your position, potentially killing an ally. I see a guy I have the advantageous position, I don't shoot him. What are the risks?: He could see me and move into an advantageous position himself and kill me. Every other instance where I am threatened and someone sees me and has fire power I will shoot, to survive. I won't should someone I know I can get away from, you will. You stated the game mechanics make the game but the mechanics don't support hero play style. The only reward you get from that is on a personal and community level with being known as a hero. But that doesn't matter, it's the game mechanics to you, so you obviously believe there is no reward other that personal satisfaction. Which isn't an INGAME reward. Like you are referring to. They both have mastered there play styles and have adjusted there game to them. THINK for one second. And you getting a full inventory every time you kill someone is BS. That would mean you don't shoot on sight and only killed geared people, and that would assume that you have time to loot the corpse for there stuff, playing on low pop servers are we? where you can always loot the bodies after a firefight? doesn't that sound easy. I was friendly at first then I turned bandit. And there is no fucking way I could go back now because it would take me months to get my humanity back and I don't think I'd enjoy months of: respawn, hospital, death, respawn, hospital, help a guy, death and so on. That is your problem. You suck at being a Hero, some of us are good at it and actually survive longer and play better this way. "You went "and what the fuck are you trying to win? There are no rules in game to have morphine. You will be screwed if you don't yeah, there is no rule against it. When I have morphine I'm not following the rules of the game I have it for safety. I for one chose a trade instead of other more profitable jobs because I enjoy the job I do. I choose 5$ over 50$ every single day. There are a lot of people out there who are crying for a single player and co-op version of the game, because that's the element they find fun, which determines how they play.   19. Greetings bandits. I'm currently in the process of starting The Snakes Clan We are a clan of organised bandits and value teamwork and loyalty. We are seeking to find skilled players who know their way around DayZ, can handle themselves in a gunfight and most importantly work well in a team. We also require you to be on relatively regularly and we'd prefer if you were from Europe, but we'll accept any nationality and our clan is already very culturally diverse. When we reach our recruitment goal the clan will be split into three sections: Infantry Cobras (HQ) Scouts/Logistics We hope to establish squads which incorporate members from all three sections so we can have balanced and efficient teams working towards objectives such as, scavenging for weapons/vehicles, hunting other players and setting up a permanent base of operations. ​The clan will also engage in regular training exercises in armoury and normal Arma so we can work on tactics/strategy and learn how to ​work with each individuals skills and abilities.     Sounds to me like someone drove that bike to where the pickup was and swapped vehicles. Was it already repaired?Vehicle locations are saved automatically when a player exist the vehicle so fresh server re-start or not, they will stay wherever the last player left them. Fresh vehicle spawns only happen when a new server starts for the first time and thereafter only to replace destroyed vehicles. So you'll only find a fresh vehicle spawn after a server restart if one or more vehicles were destroyed.

    One per server. Eight potential spawn locations. Most likely location: Hidden any place on the map by someone who found it first. Most vehicles have already been found, repaired, moved and saved. If they are saved, they do not respawn in their known spawn location. They generally stay under the control of whoever found it first indefinitely. Unless you can find where they hid it and steal it from them. Simply put. The known spawn locations are the last place you'll find it unless you're one of the first players on a brand new server.
  22. Well I don't understand the problem here... You say you can't find back vehicles that hacker teleported away..... If vehicle position is saved you can check the logs otherwise you just restart server and vehicle will be back on last position it was saved meaning that somebody hopped off from vehicle.... If vehicle is in the ocean it will take damage and you can also see that in the logs.....

    idea 1: make zombies fast indoors but let players have a certain amount of time before the zombies break through the door. (if the door is closed) -No this has to do with a Pathing error, as zombies are not the best pathed outside anyway And alot of errors idea 2: let players push furniture against windows and doors to help prevent zombies getting in. This also has to do with pathing and don't you see people trolling with that, wire fencing and sand bags are enough idea 3: a block button should be added so suppose im about to be slashed by a zombie i can press F to block the zombies attack. Okay, if someone knows how to block all the time then that makes them invincible. Plus this would be glitchy. Blocking is stupid because zombies bite. and scratch rather than punch you idea 4: add the abillity to kill zombies from behind by pressing F for an insta kill Have you never used an axe idea 5: hunting knives should also be a used for killing people and zombies. Have you never used an axe idea 7: shovels pipes and kitchen knives should be added as weapons. Axe? theirs no point idea 8: houses should be more detailed such as sinks and cupboards in the kitchen forcing players to scrounge through the shelves and the cupboards to find bullets and food. This is run on an arma engine this is not the mods fault. Finding bullets I suppose you haven't got past an enfield. and have you noticed gear is glitchy enough. and imagine how much time it would take to implement these into all the houses idea 9: more realistic weapon damage on zeds example 2 shots from makarov to zombie=dead after all they arnt those shitty shitty head shot requiring romero zombies. Obviously you haven't had a better gun most assault rifles kill them in 2 shots. Get good at head-shots!!! not that hard idea 10: container ships stranded off the coast should be added with a large zombie crew but food and medical supplies on board. The coast is meant for new players to gear up not where the main gear is. Cherno and Electrro being an exception as it is a high risk area and 2 of the biggest towns idea 11: naval ships off the coast or at naval docks with medium grade military loot and MRE'S. Naval ships in the Arma engine are primarily used as looks. The only one you can step on is apart of the map and thats not on Cherno idea 12: i know this has been suggested before but roaming packs of zombies should be added. I like this idea, but zombies are only spawned within 100-200m of you, so this is not as random as you would think and would easily give away your position! idea 13: (already suggested by me 3 weeks ago) add camping stoves for cooking tinned food to increase the amount of blood you get from the food. (stove requires gas to operate) Kill an animal!!!! god theyre not that rare I don't think anyone is going to the trouble of finding gas and a stove just to cook canned food when animals spawn everywhere on the map idea 14: zombies should wander into apartments and houses at night to sleep (on the floor) walking into the zombies resting places can wake them up. Zombies are meant to be dead. Rotting so why would they need sleep? They are not humans this is a horrible idea. Zombies only have one thing on their mind and thats living flesh idea 15: add pharmacies and clinics which may have antibiotics or bandages. They're called hospitals! you can find blood bags morphine epi pins antibiotics and bandages in them. Theres 4 on the map. And sometimes you can find them in medical tents.... idea 16: make cars a lot more common but fuel a lot rarer this would encourage a thing i call the fuel wars. No... The game is ran on fuel pumps this would not work, as it would just be sniper spots for people. WE do not need another north-west airfield Cherno and Electro added into the game This is horrible, you need to know where vehicles spawn into the game idea 17: have solitary packs of more dangerous 28 days later style zombies that kill weaker more feeble zombies in an attempt to get at the food. What would be the point in this, so it looks 'kool'? Really, once your dead your dead. You can't do anything about it. and how would zombies be stronger than others. a human has fairly the same strength as each other so would a zombie.... this would be looks idea 18: gunshots should not attract zombies as it is unfair the way the zombies keep respawning and you run out of ammo so i like to sneak. How? This would defeat the purpose of zombies all together we may as well play Arma 2 version straight raw. Learn to use your pistol better. I only attract 3 to zero zombies and also learn to use bushes idea 19: let players fire assault rifles and pistols while running for reduced accuracy. Already is!!! Its obvious you no nothing of this game tip 20: like so many people have suggested before add cannabalism if anyone has seen the road they will know what im talking about. Food is easy enough to get when you have the right gear. I am sure no one would resort to cannibalism when their is a bountiful amount of animals idea 21: get rid of tin cans they are useless and nobody uses them. Yes they are useless but not completely.     Helicopter Locations

    As I see, most possible place is this island. But probably also Skalka, NAirfield. On this dayzdb I see few other locations, but this map is not good for "random" vehicles. Eg in place where pickup should be, I found moto bike just after server reseting. I found 3 times Huey on Island, here is for sure.

    Missing vehicles and tents.

    Dudes seriously use search function.... Tents+ vehicles can disappear after server restart if there is glitch between server and HIVE communication.
