We need your computer specs. Google how to get them. We mostly need your CPU and GPU. It doesn't matter if you have a new computer, if your specs suck , gaming will suck.

Yes. Did you even check to see if your computer met the minimum system requirements? Your computer doesn't meet any of the requirements. Your CPU is almost 1 GHZ below the minimum.

Unfortunately no. I used to play the mod with a connection like that, and it was only barely possible. Zombies were okay, as their A.I. was done client-side, but if there was a player nearby, almost nothing would work. My shots would hardly even register. It's impossible to play the Standalone with a connection like that, as almost everything is done server side.

Dean said a while back that it was a play on D-day. Makes sense to me.

One thing that would be cool is the ability to rename things in your inventory. For example, if you find a "fully automatic rifle" as you said, I could rename it M4A1.

1. There is proximity based chat. The default text chat key is /. There's also proximity voice chat. I think the default key is caps lock, but im not sure. 2. Your screen will get gradually get closer to black and white the closer you are to dying.

If you got banned, it was just on that hive. It was probably just a message to deter hackers, not to say you were a hacker.

Best to custom build. Check out websites like Tom's hardware and get some advice there, just don't get an AMD processor if you're planning on playing a lot of dayz. They've been known to fare worse than intel in DayZ.

The info is still up to date. Get DayZCommander, and install the Beta patch for Arma 2: CO and the DayZ mod through it. You can also get custom versions of DayZ through it, such as DayZ Epoch.
