  1. I've read it many times. This is just my idea. As I said, everything is up to community discussion. Each mag takes up a slot except for the one stored in your gun. You can't can't carry an unlimited amount of guns. It's limited to three. Any ways I could improve it?
  2. Lol, no prob. Glad you like it.
  3. In DayZ commander, go to favorites and copy and paste the Ip in the IP box. Click add to favorites then join.

    Hax0rz

It depends. If a hacker was kicked by battleye itself, then yes, he is banned. If he was kicked by an admin (it displays the same message), then he's is probably banned, but only from that server.
  5. I like the idea of the updated Famas G2 better.
  6. I can't tell you how many times I've thought the same about you.

    A Noob Perspective

Most of these will be fixed in the standalone. As for the hacking, it caused by Arma's engine. DayZ standalone will be using a custom engine. Also, nothing will be in place to prevent KOS. The idea is that by adding more content, players will want to work together to achieve their goals.
  8. A lot of these suggestions has been mentioned before. However, I kinda like the dehydration and hunger suggestion. It should be experimented with.

    DayZ Terrible Frames Per Second?

    It may be the server.

    Just saw Rocket again.

    I must agree...
  11. Except Arma 2 wouldn't be representative of how to fly a helicopter in DayZ. This is an idea for standalone, buddy.

    Realistic Sniping

I agree. Someone (FinKone) talked about skill. He said that, in order to be good at something, the player would have to practice. Basically, his character wouldn't get any advantages whatsoever, but the player himself would get better. Then there would be no need to add a artificial skill system.

    Realistic Sniping

It sounds like he wants sniping to take more skill. I hope that, In order to be good at something in DayZ standalone, you would have to practice it. Sniping, piloting, assault, repairing, medical, etc.

    Lower End PC'S?

That;s just a bad server. Anyways: Optimization is one of the goals of DayZ. Rocket has stated it a lot, and even stated how it's already begun.
  15. yessssssssssss Tigerww2: 1 FinKone: 2
  16. Rocket has already stated that he would like to see a crafting system. This thread would be useless, if it weren't for the fact that stated exactly the scale you want to see it in. having hundreds of combinations available... Couldn't agree more.
  17. Funny you mention this, because Rocket has already ported take on helicopter vehicles.
  18. Im not saying 100%, I'm saying it has to match whatever you set the 3D resolution to.

I'm in a 9 hour van ride... In real life.
  21. The syrup is like thermal paste. I'm serious, a friend told me!!!!
  22. You need to use reg-edit to delete your old CD key and then use a new steam account to buy Arma 2. No need for a windows reinstall.
  23. Try setting your interface resolution and 3d resolution to the same size. Also, try this: Go to documents>Arma 2 Open Arma2 and Arma2oa (both are cfg files with notepad. Find Gpumaxframesahead= and Gpudetectedframesahead=. Change whatever is after = to 1

Is there still a point in buying Arma 2?

Standalone is more than likely due in the next few weeks because they've finished the huge parts of the initial standalone release (re-doing the way multiplayer works and hackers), so now it's just making sure the engine changes didn't cause any problems and bugfixing. Also, if you can run Arma 2, you can run Arma 3 and DayZ standalone.
