They want to develop the game at their own pace. Imagine if they allowed pre-orders, and then they discovered a game-breaking bug a day before release. That adds a lot of pressure on the devs.

No. I'm not sure you realize this, but Bohemia is the only company that will spend time making DayZ the best it can. They delayed the game to make it better, and they will continue to do that if needed. You really think Trion worlds will do that? I don't. As for Rocket climbing Everest, well, there's really no other option for him. He planned the trip for years, and backing out would have cost him literally up to $100,000. That basically means he would have to sell his house, his car, and, well, pretty much everything just to work on DayZ when he probably wasn't really doing a whole lot of programming himself in the first place. And trion worlds makes mediocre Arcade games, not realistic games. As for the engine, well, there's really not a whole lot of better engines out there they could use. The Arma engine is one of the only engines with ridiculously huge seamless worlds with realistic bullet physics. Changing engines would mean more delays. And why are you personally insulting Rocket and the team? You said Rocket looked like a slob because he was a T-shirt and Jeans? What?! I for one am grateful that Rocket doesn't come out dressed in a suit and acting all executive-like, he's real with us. As for the devblogs, they are EXTREMELY low on the priority list. They don't really care about making it look pretty or professional because they're to busy making the actual game.

Balota Buddies has servers in multiple different countries, and each one is designed differently. There are faction servers, vanilla servers, weapons+ servers, origin servers, etc. etc.

Balota Buddies. Its a server run by a lot of the forums moderators, and it has faction servers.

Try joining a different server.

It seems pretty ridiculous that snipers are getting banned.

There's really not much we can do. The graphics card is years old (it was outdated when it came out), and the processor is... ouch. The only thing you can do is buy some upgrades.
