You're required to place it in the side arm slot. You should be able to yield the flasflight and a handgun at the same time much the same way cops do.

someone needs to look up the definition of an exploit just because there is something in the game, that doesn't make it okay to take advantage of it.

sadly that did not bring back my tents. I think i may shed a tear or 2 for this.... is there a proper way / documented process to restart the server? such as manually syncing the hive, then restart the server to prevent this from happening again? It's a real bummer to put all those hours into something to have it all just wiped away in an instant.

I get great ping and rarely laggy. so some of the other camps that I scouted seem to be gone that I saw right before the reboot also for whatever that's worth...

Hey blackfuse after the last reboot (~6:30 PST on 6/13) my tents are missing???? They had really good stuff and I heard about this happening before. My character that laid them down is still alive and doing great (except I don't have my precious goodies anylonger) can you do something about it? I would have lost serious loot and many many many hours if I can't get them back. Please help

so long as I don't die for taking a vacation I'm good for it staying as is. also be sure to leave at 1 food and drink in a tent if raiding.... don't be ruthless. unless you're an asshole and that's your sort of thing

I think we need an indicator (like the temperature, visual and noise gauges) that would start flashing when you smelled a fire or smoke. I know it sounds ridiculous at first though but hear me out... People usually light fires to cook meat. If another player happens to be in an area or downwind from them they should be able to smell that fire, thus alerting them that they are not alone and that someone maybe nearby. That could then spawn a couple different actions; turn around and get the hell out of there or turn your attention onto hunting down your prey in hope of finding a camp or wandering traveler. this might be going overboard I know, and I will probably catch a flame or two but I thought it would be an interesting mechanic that I surely haven't seen in another title before. But then again, eating glorious beans and sucking down pepsi's in a game were also new to me just a month ago in a game... Keep up the awesome work rocket and the rest of the dayz dev team. Those vest pouches we find would do wonders on say.... YOUR CHEST! an extra 6-8 slots on your chest would be great. Make the player slower if they have them filled up... but for peets sake lets use them as intended.

the last thing on my mind in a zombie apocalypse would be getting my rocks off. what do you want players to have to take piss and shit breaks now too. oh no's i don' t have a free inventory slot for this roll of TP...

i think there are plenty of enterable buildings, sure it wuld be cool if we had more but that's what we have to look forward to in ARAM 3. The map i thnk is perfect. I like the fact that there are vast open fields and greatly wooed areas. It's perfect imho.

I also think everyone need the beta patch installed as one of the many things it fixes the ingame direct com voip. I now only play on beta servers and next time I run into someone I will try to direct voip instead. Hopefully that will make it a little more personal and people won't be so quick to shoot on sight. I'll let you know how it goes tonight.

yeah, my buddies don't even try and meet up anymore as it's too frustrating trying to follow anyone. Inventory is lagging so bad that half the time you don't know if you picked up the item or not. Then the mass disconnect and try another server happens in effort to find a non lag server. I'm not sure but that can't be good for the matter server right? But so far all the servers I've been trying are doing the same thing. Knowing rockets history in fixing things you gotta know that this is one of his main priorities (now that he has his laptop back)

hey blackfuse, love the server I play on it regularly. I have a couple suggestions that I think would benefit gameplay. You can tell me to pound sand of course but I really like the performance and most of the ppl that play there regularly. I noticed that disconnect messages don't display (just player killed messages) IMHO this encourages QQ'ers as it's impossible to call these players out as halfway through a battle your foe just disappears, even after pumping them with a few rounds... Also, if the server must reboot it would nice to get a countdown rather than a gotta reboot the server and then 30 sec later get a "session lost" Whenever the servers go down abruptly like this my very next relog something is messed up... This last time I spawned with ~7k blood even though before the shutdown I had 12K... Also player location got fubar and totally lost my barrings. Again love the server just a few friendly suggestions! Cheers and thanks for the opportunity to voice these opinions. Gives us a chance to get to a safe place or safe tents, vehicle loadout rather

yeah if by chance you ware talking about the native camera shake in ARMA II you can turn that down (or Off) just go to game settings.
