  1. Personally would like to see bicycles a possibility in this game as they already exist, there could be limitations imposed on to them such as very low health as they've almost rusted through etc. Parts like a bike chain and a bike wheel or two could be implemented so they aren't just an instant pickup.

    Suggestion [Blood Donation]

I was thinking that if it ever were to be implemented it would require at least a [sterile Bloodbag] and perhaps a [Cannula] or [sterile Needle] (edit:and other items listed by Land Squid although a bag stand would be quite cumbersome to implement) depending on just how detailed/difficult this feature would be and its accessibility earlier on in the game. Items would be found in currently spawning supply crates among bandages and other medical equipment. *edit1 to take into account Land Squid's post.

    Suggestion [Blood Donation]

The reason why I put blood type into the equation was purely for a little extra added 'realism' and try and ensure blood remains a valuable resource in the game (Even though I agree, spontaneous cooperation in the game remains a rarity) but I too agree that it probably goes a step too far :)
  4. Greetings all, Just been browsing the forums when I noticed a recurring trend in people commenting on the ease of going through a town or village to get their beans for the day with less and less fear of the dead that walk. A suggestion to increase the difficulty and suspense in these instances is to implement a new (albeit rare) zombie type which upon play detection raises the alarm with a shriek of some sort that alerts the disgruntled dead. In terms of implementation the scream would work just the way any loud gun would, and the carried sound would attract both players and undead alike. The reason for me wanting this is that it would both increase the necessity to remain unseen and may also give a player's location away to other players in the vicinity (to either the subject's assistance or dismay)

    Suggestion [New Zombie Type: Screamer]

Fair point, this idea deviates too much from the implied realism and is too similar to 'superhero zombies' seen more popular arcade shooters.. Apologies *bow* Monkey zombies ftw though..
  6. Greetings all, If I were somehow end up in a post-apocalyptic future ruled by the undead I would personally be more at ease if I was able find a fully functional IRC to talk to other survivors. My point being, the side channel in my opinion detracts from the set environment, rather subjecting the player to a world of OMG's, general banter and inane memery rather than the macabre scene that ARMA2 and the DayZ mod so naturally create. Whilst the ability to talk to other players is agreeably an ideal one, I think that in the very least, the side channel (and global channel) should be invisible up until perhaps if the player were to obtain an item such as a walkie talkie or proprietary military device that would allow for the ability for such communication. In the future, this could even set the basis of global tasks akin to those seen in the more traditional ARMA setting; e.g. Zombies have overrun the radio station that people are using to communicate with the side channel; a group of survivors who aren't too keen on giving up their luxury may need to go in and repair a broken cable that a rat has gnawed or something along those lines. What are your opinions on the matter?
