I found an amazing DayZ Epoch Napf server I'm currently playing with my friends, We have had amazing experiences already tho we have only played aproximately a day. It's based on Napf map that is found in arma files so you don't have to download another map for this one. Really friendly based community I made 4 player and 1 group encounter and none of them ended up with a shoot out. I'm here marketing the server because it needs more players. WE NEED MORE TESTERS! ^v^ Hello there, I'm finally proud to introduce our own DayZ Epoch server. So the server is currently in ALPHA stage, we are adding new features constantly and we are on a stress test phase now. To see how much more powerful dedicated server we need to rent. IP: 178.75.191.59:2302 RULES: -No hacking, script injecting (obviously) = instant ban -No glitching the safe zone script and somehow killing a player or stealing items from his/her's backpack. -Use common sense -Racism or sexism will not be tolerated. -Only english in side chat -No voice on side chat. Doing any of these felonies gets you banned (temporarely or permanently) or kicked depending which rule you broke. Here are the current features: - No Over Power Vehicles (BTR-90, BMP-2, GPK Humvee, armored SUV, Vodnik etc.) - No Self blood bag - No bandit Trader (hero gameplay is encouraged and bandit gameplay disencouraged) - No indestructible bases -Trader cities are safe -Black market dealer will be hidden. -Active mature non abusive admins, with many years of DayZ Experience. (trust me, we know abusive admins are really annoying) -Customized map to increase player scattering to all areas of Chernarus. This includes custom loot spawns -We highly encourage people to be Friendly and communicate with other players. -Possible custom admin events -Custom Missions. -Custom traders (prices are changed, etc) -300 Vehicles

EDIT: Managed to fix the problem by updating to beta of the beta patch via steam and launching the game from arma 2 OA Directory from an application called: Launch Arma 2: OA Beta Patch So heres what I have done so far: -Reinstalled: Arma 2, OA, DayZ, DayZ Epoch, Arma 2 Beta patch. -cmd winsock thing and deleted qualcomm atheros killer network manager from startup. -Tried beta of the beta patch :o This actually managed to get me on the server but it kicked me out after 10 seconds saying Authentication timed out. The server is very populated and my friend is playing on it constantly. I have currently the newest stable beta patch installed 112555. Whats even sillier is that the server requires 1.63 and I have 1.63 I tried to connect remotely but then it does not let me there saying connecting failed or kicks me instantly

You guys need to have the mic you use as your default input device, go to control panel, audio settings and input devices. *Right click* Select the mic you use as a Default device.
