I was playing arma 3 campaign the other day and i was doing a solo mission in the woods and a 2 person squad attacked me. it was really stressful but i popped a smoke grenade, flanked them and completely destroyed them. it was so awesome. never thought of doing that in dayz. smoke grenades is where it's at!

If you meet players who speak a different language than you it helps to know a few useful phrases.

Thank you dude :) appreciate that!

A realistic live action DayZ short. (retweeted by Dean)

All that was my intention from the beginning, so glad to hear I accomplished what I wanted. The chances for a more worked-out version is slim to none since the whole crew went their seperate ways at the end of the year. But You can read the original script in the original thread. -
Some of you may actually remember that I posted this 2 years ago: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/106405-please-give-me-feedback-on-my-dayz-in-real-life-script/ I had an idea for a realistic DayZ live action short film and I needed help finishing and polishing the script. A lot of you gave me a lot of good pointers and helped me mold it into its final form. Last year I got to actually make it for a film class and though a substantial amount of scenes were cut and/or changed due to project constraints I remain proud of the final product What you see here is the final form of the DayZ short film you guys helped me make. Thank you and enjoy!

French DayZ players, what do you say instead of "friendly"?

So awesome, dude. Could you please translate those phrases for me and provide an explanation to their meaning? I'm doing research for an educational video and I want my facts straight. -

Pure gold! Thank you so much! The thing is, I'm learning french right now and I wanted to make some youtube videos teaching phrases and words from videogames in french mainly to keep myself motivated. Could you please translate all those phrases you just listed and tell me exactly what they mean so that I can use them? Google translate isn't helping me much. Thank you so much! -
French DayZ players, what do you say instead of "friendly"?
DannyFilming posted a topic in General Discussion
Hello. I'm currently trying to learn french and I thought I'd learn some popular phrases from games I like. I was wondering what French people say in DayZ where english speakers say friendly? I've asked one other person and he said there's no word for it and an alternative would be: "Ne tirez pas, je suis dans votre camp" but I want to double check. Can anyone help me out? -
Lol, I've been getting shit for that ending since day one. I like to keep things open for interpretation instead of explaining everything. There's no part 2 dude, sorry.
-
Yeah it's mine, thanks a lot man :)

I've always wondered about this but I have never gotten a real answer before. This game has always had serious performance issues, some times I even get 20 fps in an open field for no reason. But are things going to be done to fix this and have it run at a steady 60 fps in cities at launch? Can a moderator or perhaps a developer please shed some light on this for me?

You and everyone else reading this should all go and check out Ceremor's channel, he's really awesome! https://www.youtube.com/user/Ceremor/videos
-
I agree, Ceremor is the only one I know of though. Are there anyone else who puts up creative bandit videos?
-
What actually happened was that the dude respawned back right in front of Ceremor 5 minutes later because he didn't know that pushing "play" puts you right back into the same server. He had a video of his perspective up but he put it on unlisted recently.
