And to clarify, when you look in your arma 2 oa folder (steam users) it should look like this: @dayz @dayz_lingor @dayz_lingor_island AddOns (copied from arma 2 folder) ca. 8gb and ofc a bunch of other folders As streetsuite said, the full lingor files are huge. 500+ mb theres also a link to the official lingor site in my first post :) EDIT: Btw your link sendt me to youtube, so i suggest people use the link i have in the first post. all friends who have got it from there have gotten it to work.

It might be the matter of the addon folder from the arma 2 folder. copy it into arma 2 oa folder and that should do it mate. and make sure the two lingor folder are in the OA folder next to your @dayz folder

ehmmm. lingor is NOT running on ANY official hives. just to clarify, lingor is ONLY private hive atm guys. just imagine the mess in coordinates, if you could log out in chernarus and log in at lingor on the official hive lol

server is up but my gamepsy tracker keeps getting DDOS by that joachim guy. So join by IP and fuck that 2k ping thats not true at all :) nobody has more then 150 ping on this server. Almost all users are joining by IP now, coz of the ussues with the internet list.

Try the IP mate, that usually does the trick. Other then that i actually dont know :( and btw theres been some issues with it disappering from the internet list.

And the culprit returns to see hes havok. You can stop now, ive got anti ddos software setup, your fun is over idiot. Clever going to your second account Fred (ID:72203526) to try and fool me. From here on out DZN tag is banned from this server. Thank Joachim and Defenz for it......

try reinstalling arma 2 beta at the correct version. thats usually the case. we have also had problems with DDOS attacks tonight, so that might be the case mate.

My point exactly, the screening process would be very long and difficult and i dont believe the end result will be better then it has been so far. I mean this is the first time i have had to actually ban that amount of people and its the first time we have had a ddos, so i consider us pretty lucky compared to most other servers. Lol got another DDOS just as i was writing this. bastard EDIT: It appears to be exactly 5 mins at a time. and apperantly it made a double post during the ddos lol

well even if the IP and PASS was hidden he would have gotten it when he had logged in. remember this is a guy who have been playing there for 2 damn weeks lol. Theres no way to stop this no matter how many precautions you take, the world will always have assholes in it. And im guessing the clan isnt a proff clan tbh, they acted like children and made no sense what so ever lol. so we can ride it out and hopefully my ISP can help me out with it and do something. No elmer thats good, it means you can connect. :) hopefully more should be able to soon.

or just host it yourself and save the money.

Ive had a chat with my ISP and thing will be taken to a higher lvl :) And for you guys that did not know: DNZ Joachim was unhappy he lost some items on server restart, so he desided to go on a vehicle smashing spree and flamme everybody for loosing hes stuff. Then after a couple of hours of discussion and childish behavior (he even asked what it took to get a ban) i desided to kick him. He then went along and ddos my internet down, as he had promissed in the chat. Hes ID is: 21972358 Also before that i banned one of hes clan mates Defenze or something, for hacking and spawning stuff in. Hes ID is: 16114630

Ok, let me give some info that everybody can understand and use and hopefully i wont break any rules. ALL private hive software does NOT come from dayz devs. Yes its the dayz software, but it has been modded and changed to be able to run private hive, and dayz devs HAVE NOT done this. So its very pointless to ask around here on how to create it, as they havent created the private software and do not support it :) Go to tunngle forums to find ALL the info you can ever dream about, on private hive and how to set it up, but dont expect it to be easy :) Theres several different version, with different advantages and different setup, so it can get VERY frustrating. I am not gonna link to anything here. but go to the tunngle forums under arma II oa and find what you need hopefully, just dont expect anyone to help you with the setup :) im sorry if i broke any rules, but it seems like people need to know what to do. and no disrespect to the dayz devs or mods, you are doing a FANTASTIC job and i am so happy you opened the private hive section. thx guys It would be foolish to pay for a private server setup btw EDIT: Maybe you mods should post in the sticky in private hive that you dont give out the private software or support it :) just to clarify
