    I can confirm vehicles and tents work just fine on my server. As i see it its different from server to server, but most Official servers got issues atm. Right now, private server seems like the way to go :) untill rocket and the team gets a grib on the official hive. As i see it, a complete wipe of the DB in 1.7.3 is required to make the game balanced again. And as this is an alpha, wipping the DB should happen at every MAJOR (big game changes) patch tbh, to clean up after all the hacks, duppes and spawns.

    Mate, theres no such thing as an Official lingor hive. Some hosting companies have set up several lingor server on the same DB and thus working as a "main hive" for that hosting company. Most lingor server are however private single hives. as mine for example.

    santuary is NOT original mate. its private modded server software. Unless you bought a official server at a hoster it can never be originial (official is what im guessing you ment) and if its an official server you deff posted in the wrong forum :) all im trying to say is, if you have private software, go where you got it to get support. theres no support to get here for private hive or lingor in any way tbh. this forum private section is merely for discussions and advertisement for servers. nothing more.

    just to clarify. ALL lingor is private. its NOT connected to the main hive. so you can have 2 chars yes. Just imagine the coord nightmare if thoose two maps where on the same DB. log out at green mountain and then dropping 200 meters when logging into lingor XD not good hehe. So all lingor is private, although some hosters seems to have a lingor DB with several server connected, again private DB :)

    ok maybe not at a hoster, but if you had the software yourself it would be cake. I know nothing of having a hoster, dont wanna pay for free software.

    atm i would say 15-25. we lost some, to bans and some have left and some have come :) yesterday we had 17 online. Ive updated the mainpost quite alot, so make sure you all read it again :murder:

    "Downloadable content" is lingor mate :) go to my front post and install lingor properly. If its not that, then its your addons folder in arma II. Copy it to arma II OA folder. EDIT: i need to read lol. confused said what i said :facepalm:

    Ok. Poll has ended abit before time coz i just saw 28 people had voted (who the fuck are thoose 28 lol) so result are: TADAAADAADAAAA yes: 16 votes / 59,26% no: 11 votes / 40,74% So its a yes to dedicated PVP area. Im gonna have a chat with the other admins tonight :) Maybe this can attract some new blood aswell.

    Thats a pretty intense network lol. when i have 20-25 people online i NEVER get above 600 kbps on router traffic, so i have no issue here at all. we have had 30 online at one point and it did go alittle over 1 mbps. Got 30/30 mb connection so its all good :) EDIT: Right now ive got 7 users online and the traffic monitor isnt even above 200 kbps yet, just fyi :) and ive got some american users aswell, never above 300 ping ingame, infact most are stabil at 150-200 and the server is located in Denmark, so id say its nice.

    Thx mate. Im happy to announce the new static ip has been set up. My network has been smoothed and it should run ALOT better now. thx for your patience and the mainpost will be updated with new info in 1 min or so ;)

    Paying for a private hive is a bad idea lol. The software is free, the game is free, so why would one pay for it? Paying for a official server i can understand as it has to connect to the main DB. But paying for a private hive is, in my oppinion, the same as throwing money out of the window mate. Some people will try to make money off of you for no reason, as they do here lol. AND as the private hive is local, you dont need half the bandwith for private hive, compared to the official hive, as it has A LOT less information going back and forth.

    as of right now, i dont think you are gonna find a hack free server. look for a heavily policed server, might be your best choice, as hackers usually gets banned fast and show up less oftent.

    seems abit effy tbh. massive player base, but the server is not running 24/7? dont understand how its possible to have a massive player base, when they can only play, when you do. Your information is almost non existing. pls give all the info ppl could want mate.

    yeh its correct. theres been some problems with connection this weekend, so keep trying if you want :) stupid hackers and ddos attacks lol

    its coz my ISP is working on the connection atm, try connection through server list or remote ingame. The bat file with ip is not working atm, hopefully it will later :)

    is there any change the mods could make a post in one of theese stickies? regarding advertisement for server, maybe make a template? alot of people are advertising now and they arent giving the correct info. I know its more work for the mods, so im not keeping my hopes up hehe, but it would help abit with all the advertisement here.

    Yeh it would seems like the poeple want a pvp area :) so me and the other admins are working on our plans :) the poll is gonna run till 2morrow and then im gonna announce the results.
