  2. Because you say stupid stuff mate, and how does language skills have anything to do with this? No its not my first language, but you understand it fine..... Its like talking to a door lol, read up on stuff and we will talk later, coz you got absolutely no kind of evidence to support what you are saying.

And yes, he started this ALONE, the mod was his work, it all started with him writing it and testing it with a couple of friends and one server lol. Why do you think his name is all over the place? Just for the fun of it? Its very clear to see you havent been around for a long time mate, And again, DayZ has nothing to do with Walking Dead...... Dunno where you come up with this stuff. We are actually trying to tell you "the story of the game" and all you can say is: Buhu its BS..... Jeez..... Some people. Im out, this is a way to advanced form of stupid for me.

  6. Yeh no, thats not true mate :) It is inspired by Deans time in the Army indeed. This game did not start as a Zombie game, it was a survival game in the beginning.     We NEED some way to identify heros and bandits.

    But you already have that in the game.... Is it really necessary to have a players previous actions pointed out to you, at every single encounter? Have some patience and you will see people's true colors soon enough. This "I need the game to point out bad and good people for me" mentality, is not gonna get you anywhere mate. You have to point them out yourself. So go play your Hero VS Bandit right now, its very possible and people are actually doing it, even though you claim you cannot do anything other then shoot people. You could, uhm, try not to shoot people? Scout them for some time to figure out if you really think they are worth spending time on. Nobody tells you to run directly, head first, into every single player you encounter, that your choice, you choose to do that. So choose to play it another way, instead of claiming you need to game to point out peoples playstyle for you, because you have no other choice but to kill people :)
  8. But you know what? People are free to play it however they want, thats the beauty of this game and thats why its so damn popular. No restrictions, nobody telling them how to play, you do what you want, end of story.

    Its already been confirmed, name tags like that will never get into SA, so dont worry about that :) Good feature for Arma COOP, very abd feature for DayZ.

    WHERE IS EVERYBODY?!?!

    Keep in mind this is very early alpha, so im guessing about 50% of the people who have bought it now, did so because its cheap, not to actually play it yet. I am one of thoose, ive been online for 2 hours, to try it out, but im not gonna play a game, which isnt even a game yet :) It was the same for Arma 3, tons and tons of people bought it, but not a whole lot actually played it alot during alpha/beta, they bought it because of the cheaper price in the beginning :)

    Yeh not sure it will be possibly to simply push it and let it roll by it self :) Perhaps its doable in the SA engine, but ive never seen it done in either A2 or A3 hehe.

    Playing the mod again..

    How can you even say something like that, the Alpha has been out for a month and you can "magicly" see how it will never be finished. Patience lol, theres at least a year and a half till the full release. Back on topic: Im done with the mod and have been for a long time, so im sitting here, waiting for the SA to evolve into the beast i know it will become hehe

    Rofl i play high aswell, sometimes :) Was merely thinking of a IRL scenario, similar to this haha. But yeh, we need to set up a bootleg weed business in Cherno. Can we use one of the big appartment buildings? Place guards and shit, so nobody comes along and grabs our harvest ;) Is that why we dont have empty whiskey bottles anymore? We have all you AA, and quit drinking :)

    Yes, have some beans sir :beans: But if they put it in, they might aswell rename it from "Shopping Cart" to "Zombie Magnet", because the noise is gonna draw Z's from everywhere to it lol

    Where can i find weed in game?

    Yes and no hehe. Yes i would like to smoke, but no its most likely not a good idea tbh. Slowed reflexes, coughing, blurred vision. Does not sound ideal for a apocalyptic scenario :) Plus, who dries it and cures it? Smoking it directly from the plant is not fun at all, it needs at least 1 month before its remotely wortk smoking, both taste and effect wise :)

    Not a bad idea, but tbh they should not be rare with all the supermarkets we got in Chernarus :) They should however, be very very slow off the road, make alot of noise when you move around and stand out like a 50 foot fire in the middle of the night. So you can take your chances, which solo would mean suicide, but for a group of people it would be an ideal starter storage, before finding vehicles. A hoot? More like a deathtrap lol.

    That might be true, but in DayZ its really easy to kill people with hip fire. It should not be that easy tbh, and the crosshair is one of the "easy fixes" to this problem, along with the other stuff you suggest :)

    Less Concentrated Spawn Points

    If the spawns are gonna stay on the coast, this would be the best way to do it. We should have 100's of spawn points, littered all over the coast, and i must say i like the way you tried to "avoid" Balota spawns, smart thinking. This would be the ideal system for DayZ, IF the spawns are gonna be strictly coastal :) Would prefer to spawn on the coast tbh, i guess its just "The DayZ Way" for me hehe.
  21. Naah, whats the point of having a system like that in DayZ? You should never be able to "see other players intentions" in any shape or form, what so ever. Thats the best part of the game and that is what brings the tension to the game :) TBH Safe- and PVE-zones should be created and maintained by players, not NPC's. Its the only way to make it dynamic and trust me this will happen on some servers. We did it in the mod, had a refugee camp, with no killing rules, but people still came to fuck things up. So we where about 10 guys, protecting this refugee camp, gathering supplies for it and hunting away bandits, who tryed to take it or simply kill us. That is better then any kind of NPC, we can ever hope to get :)

    Im quite sure this a difficulty matter. If you put it on expert difficulty it will be gone, unless they changed it from the Arma games, which i doubt they have looked at yet. But if it came down to it, it should be removed all together, force people to aim they're weapon. The current "I can Rambo-shoot from my hip and kill everything" is abit lame tbh, breaks immersion and is in no way authentic. In the mod, and in Arma 2/3 ive ALWAYS played on servers with crosshair disabled, because i hate it so much :)

    Suggestion - disable VOIP during gameplay

    Cmon.................. Are you seriously suggesting BI should have more rights then the admin account on my PC? They should be allowed to block software, such as skype and TS? Are you right in your mind? Thats called invasion of privacy and it will NEVER happen. The only one who has this kind of power is the NSA, apperantly, NO gaming company will ever be allowed to do this lol. I can understand the meaning of this, but we have to be realistic here, we cannot allow games to overwrite admin accounts on our computers. Honestly, im abit scared people would even suggest such a thing...

    Polaroid Cameras

    Well, we can cross our fingers and hope some kind of "pouch" or photo album could be part of this, but i doubt it, at least in the beginning. But it would be cool to find a small album on someone, to get a glimse of who this person was :) Im a sucker for RP and immersion, so i cant get enough of stuff like this hehe.
