Perhaps someone will mod it into the game after release, but i truly doubt it will ever be part of the base game mate :) As mentioned above, theres alot of things telling us they dont intent on putting any NPC's in the game.

But.... How can sales drop? oO They already sold way more then they anticipated, and alot of people bought the game now, to get it cheaper then it will be on release, and arent actually playing it atm, just following the news and updates. I completely understand your statement, and i somewhat agree. The problem is that people buy an early acces game, expecting a finished game, and thats just unrealistic tbh. Thats when they need some "tough love" to understand it, so its only natural the tone gets hard, when people miss the obvious :) -
No..... No its not.... Do some more research before asking "stupid" questions. I would advice you to read all the devblogs, dating back to august last year, it will tell you everything you need to know and answer 99% of all the questions you have.

Right click on DayZ Mod in Steam -> Go to Properties -> Go to the Beta Tab -> Select the newest version of DayZ and it should start downloading. (1.8.0.3) As for the recommended Arma II OA beta patch, simply go to http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/149928-dayz-mod-1803-hotfix/ and click the top link and it will start to download :)

Well, would the GPS satelite network be capable of functioning on its own for several weeks or even months, without any human interferance or adjustments? I dont think so but im not sure. Tbh it would be better to track people via other factors, such as footprints or something along those lines, but i doubt we will get that heh. I dont really like this idea, would much rather have "old school" tracking, like hunters do when they try to find prey to kill :)

Yes and no, night time does tend to "scare" people away, but its also a part of the game, so theres no reason to remove it or make less of it tbh. Theres plenty of people on experimental, i can promise you the important bugs are already reported and being looked into, not to mention the internal QA team. More people does not necessarily equal more bug reports and it certaintly does not mean more bug fixes :) Nice video though, i love playing at night hehe.- 1 reply

Theres only one solution in my opinion. Play on Hardcore. Ive always hated 3pp, in 9/10 games and i cant see any change made to DayZ, that would make 3pp a good choice for me. This is my personal opinion ofc, so some of you might not agree, but 3pp in Arma/DayZ was never a good thing imho, and i have always avoided it at all costs. I can see the need to create something to stop people from peeking over walls and having unrealistic vision, but i will never play on the regular HIVE anyway.

You can only blame one entity for this, us, the players. If people where to actually do some recearch before buying a game and not just buying every single early acces game, when ever its released, it would be different. But the fact that we are so impatient and so willing to part with our money, is what has made this "trend" so popular. Only we can change it, but it would require people to actually stop buying games that arent done, which isnt gonna happen anytime soon tbh. -
That might be because theres ALOT more people playing regular. So theres more people jumping servers, going through the "high traffic" areas, and as far as i know, the zombies doesnt respawn like crazy anymore. I also find people on HC seem to play the game differently, its alot more tactical as it requires alot more awareness of your surroundings, because you cant peek over walls in 1pp, and all that :) Love HC, will never play on regular, but thats been my preference in all of the Arma games, from the start.

Theres no point in removing a part of the game, just because it doesnt work like you want it to. Lets just leave it in and let them fix it when they have the time tbh. It would actually be more work to remove it, then just leave it for the time being. -
Hardcore and regular have only one difference, its the 1./3. person view. The game it self is 100% identical, so either you never noticed it on regular, or you havent played alot since the last patch, which increased the zombie speed :)

Well..... Its not a scratch vest ;) Ive never come across one eitehr though, same goes for press vest. The pilot jacket is also kinda rare. -
How tactful are you, and what tactics work in DayZ SA?

Tactful means "full of tact." What's tact? It's the gift for saying the right thing because you understand what the situation calls for. Tactical means relating to or constituting actions carefully planned to gain a specific military end. I love how you are mixing these words, as if its the same ;) I actually tend to be more tacful ingame, then tactical. Would rather talk my self out of a death and give all my items away, then being shot and killed. My life is to valuable. -
Im sorry but i cant agree :) I find the current system sufficient, it makes you want to be safe before you logout, so you take ekstra time to find the right spot. A visible logout, possibly even with a big fat "cancel" button, would make people log out everywhere. because they can see what is happening and simply press cancel. I admire that you dont combat log and want to "play by the rules", so to speak. But thats definitely not how most of your fellow survivors feel :) People exploit and try to gain advantages through glithes, all the time, so just because you dont do it, doesnt mean "the others" arent doing it aswell.

Simple, you can still see and pass on information of your surroundings, while you are waiting to log out. That means, people can log out and still have total control of they're char, perhaps even the ability to cancel the logout, if some other player walks into the room. So you dont have to make sure you are alone when you are logging out anymore, you dont have to find a good spot to log out anymore, and people will start to complain about the logout timer taking to long. Theres no reason, what so ever, to change the current behavior of logging out. Its perfect for its purpose, which is discouraging people from logging out while in combat or in "un-safe" places. Giving people the option to have free-look during logout, would remove this effect.

Agreed, it would be exploited to much. And just fyi, you can only hear other people when you are unconscious, when you are dead theres no sound. :)

Well thats your choice, but i value my life in-game WAAAAY to much to go anywhere near the North-East corner of the map tbh. Would rather part with all my items ingame, then being killed.

Tbh i would rather stay alive for the duration of the Alpha, testing out stuff in a "more controlled" environment, then joining the slaughter fest and get tired of the game, within hours. Killing people and getting killed, every few minutes, is not that i want to test here, theres obviously plenty of other people doing this. I wanna go places i havent seen, find loot i havent seen and test it all out, rather then "COD" it at Berizino tbh.

Yeh exactly, ive got it all to my self :) Abit boring at times, but i can live with that for now. People dont go to Balota or Zelenogorsk anymore, thats for sure.

This is why i live in the south west corner :) Nice and quiet, and that is so nerve wrecking heh, i love not running into people that often, because then the encounters becomes so much more exhilarating, once it finally happens. And thats what this game is about for me.
