This might have been asked before in a different context, or maybe its just common knowledge and im just stupid, but can anyone tell me is the character saved locally on the hard drive or is it saved in some online database. In other words, would I be okay re-installing dayz without my character being deleted. Thanks

Gah i have to keep double taking the amount of people playing since apparently near 70,000 people are playing and its the first day of release... Well anyway i'd have to agree with everyone else here that weather you're going to play or not, buy it anyway because youll eventually play and the price will just go higher.

Turn antialiasing to disabled instead of low... That will get you a large fps boost until you can get a better card.

I was shocked too... Well i had windows on it though... The only downside was that it had to be on ULTRA LOW... And nights were pitch black, and like 12fps, 8 in cities, and it was only 200 farenheit! Hooray for apple products!

Im not absolutely sure im right here... But i played dayz on very low with a 2.3ghz processor and 64mb of vram... So you probably could run it on low until someone else responds with where you can get one of those cards..
