Just right now, I am smoothly playing Dayz on my 2011 Macbook Laptop on average settings... Type "Bootcamp" in Google. Then press enter. Then click on the first link that appears. Then read. #Bootcamp isn't garbage.

I'm sure it is part of a marketing plan. They will sell (green) mountains of standalone copy based on the "2.5" engine. Then, in a year or two, i'm sure you can expect DayZ Standalone to be ported on the ArmA 3 engine. Or a "3.5" engine. "Dayz II - The Green Mountain returns" if you please. And i think it is a good idea. Faster Standalone release for us, and more potential sells on a long term for them. I wish someone would have asked at Gamescom.

I bet all my beans it won't work too. Dogs creating graphic glitches, spawning you in the ocean naked, eating all your stuff and pissing in your tent is to be heavily expected. IMO.

It is a good idea to try Dayz on an other map. Lingor island being a very nice map i am happy with it. And as we all don't know shit about Lingor team and Dayzteam relationships, please don't start false rumors.. Or show me the relevant "sources." Concerning the update. I really think a hotfix was more than needed as lots of my friends and I can't even play/test the game because of the graphic glitches. Would have been nice to hotfix it fast. Or at least to keep us informed about it. Nevertheless keep up the good work DayzTeam, and hire more Public Relation/Community Manager guys.. Please.
